I've purchased Revel 5 shoes before, so I figured ordering the same size I've always bought was a sure bet. No. No it was not. I'm not sure if it's because of the color (cheetah), or what, but these were definitely half a size smaller than my other 5's. My plantaris fasciitis didn't act up nearly as bad but my toes were rubbing against the tip of the shoes so I had to return them.

It is a decent running shoe. I do not like the width, to big, the laces and top part of the shoe seems too long and causes pain. I like to have my shoe tight with the laces and I can't do this with this shoe. I prefer a solid color shoe, all black is beautiful but you didn't have any. I prefer my Brooks 20+ yr old shoe even though it is 2 tone color shoe. Would you happen to have any older shoes still in stock? Runners like snug fit shoes and now it looks warped because it is too wide. I do not like the cushion on some of the other shoes, this one seems closer to the cross fit training shoes which I like, so maybe a thinner cushion with more shock absorbent fibers added. Each persons foot is different, so not every shoe will work with every person unless there is a way to fit each shoe to each person. It is a decent running shoe and I will continue to run with it until I find another running shoe that I like.

This shoe didn't have the support I quite expected. Guess I should have suspected that from the lower price.

The shoe doesn?t have enough support for my feet. It?s seems they run a little larger.

Love color scheme! Perfect summer feel

I have very high arches and while prior Brooks shoes have given me the comfort and support I need, my feet and knees hurt when I wear these at the school I work at all day. I plan to try inserts.

Disappointed. I made a mistake by not buying the Ghost. I?m certainly not a runner but for support and to help with the osteoarthritis, I will stick to the Ghost. Brooks shoes have helped so much.

I think I was shipped the wrong shoe..mine doesn't match the picture.

I have always loved my Brooks Revel shoes, they feel great from the word go...however, recent editions now have flat shoelaces...which some untied or get tangled up easily. They used to have the round type shoelace. I really wish Brooks would go back to the better shoelace. It may cost a bit more for them to make, but for Customer Satisfaction (and to keep people from tripping) it seems like the better way to go for a quality shoe. As it is now, I have to pay extra to buy quality shoelaces.

I'm not a runner; I bought my Brooks because I have unusual feet (orthopedic surgery at 13 to correct birth defects) and anything with too much arch support causes me a lot of pain. I tried on tons of sneakers a few years ago and the Brooks Revel felt best. I loved my first pair wore them out in a year and bought another, loved those too, my third pair started giving me heel pain after a few months. I bought another pair and it happened again immediately. I only have the pain after wearing my sneakers.

I ordered the copper/navy and they were so cute! Love the way they look. However, I did return them because I didn't like the way they fit at all. They are very low cut on the sides and back. It felt like they were going to come off my feet when I walked. This was my 4th style of Brooks and I do not recommend the Revel 5.

I ordered these for work, they feel great but fit a little different. Around the opening to the end of the shoe is long so it's a little weird

Brooks are new to me. I purchased rebel and ghost series at same time. I feel the ghost shoes have more support and more toe room than rebel series. In future I?d stick to ghost.
