I am a reliable 9M, a walker - not a runner - and use these for everyday wear. These fit perfectly. I prefer a narrow and deep heel cup so that the shoe doesn't slip up and down. The test is: can I pull the shoe off my foot when laced and tied. Correct answer: No. The Revel passes this test. This is my third pair of Brooks Revel, and it won't be the last.

Perfect fit, though I do size up .5. I can’t tell you how much I love these. I walk several miles daily and have been thrilled with Revel 5. When I saw this darling pattern, I had to have them. I like them so much I ordered a 2nd pair for backup.

Ok so let me start with saying that I am unsure what some Of these reviews are saying the shoes arrived already worn? These did not they were in the brand new box. I am usually a 7.5 but went up half size due to the information in other reviews and I’m glad I did personally, they fit perfect! These are super comfortable! I have not went on a run in them just yet but I feel like I’m walking on air really. This is my first pair of Brooks and I am usually a die hard Nike fan but these are really good and have sold me I think! I bought my husband a matching pair and he had the Revel 3s prior and loved them so much. We are super happy customers and the pricing here is beyond fair same as the Brooks site, I hope this helps some of you out! Go for them! Also one last note I have super super narrow feed so I was worried with the width but not an issue at all the laces allow the perfect fit for you! Really slick looking shoe!

I have enjoyed Brooks shoes in the past. The Revel 5 has a bit better than moderate arch support. That is a plus! I was able to order a medium instead of wide because the toe box is a lit roomier. Other Brooks shoes I have ordered have been that way as well. Overall good-looking and comfortable.

Nice cushion. Felt great from the first time I put them on. Only thing I don't love are the laces - they are very very thin. I'll need to replace.

Love these! Put them on and they fit like a glove! I did not need to wear them in at all. I put them on and went on a quick walk with my dog and they were perfect. Love the pattern too! Only thing is that the tongue of the shoe is a lighter color which i did not realize, it shows through the shoe a little bit making it look lighter. But it was not a huge issue for me.

I have had these shoes for three months and already the heal is worn away and causing blisters. This is my second pair of Brooks to do this. I am a walker getting in 3-5 miles a day. Maybe this is normal wear but it’s seems a bit fast to me and too much for my wallet. Sadly I’m going to have to try another brand.

Also reviewed the Revel 4 with same photo. The pairs on the floor my beloved Revel 2’s, all size 9. In the newer Revel 4 & 5, I had to size down to 8.5. In the photo, the black is Revel 4, the white is Revel 5. I replaced the super long, ordinary laces in both pair with VASGO laces (39 “ for my narrow fit). These shoes are not cheap, so Brooks needs to go back to the type of laces you can see in the Revel 2. None of those laces were replaced. Big fan of Brooks since I left the ASICS brand a few years ago. I walk a lot & the Brooks help prevent feet, ankle & knee pain.

I love these shoes for walking and jogging. They are also a great color mix and the shoe strings are the perfect length and not too wide. Very true to size. Great look and fit

The shoes fit great! Great support, nice and light. The only thing that bothered me was that they came with a crusty stain on them. A little hard tell at first, but brand new shoes shouldn’t come like that. But, I’m also too lazy to return them.

The shoes for great, they are very comfortable which is all an A+ I’m not a huge pink fan and I wasn’t expecting them to be such a light pink so … that’s only part I didn’t like. The gray color is wonderful so decided to keep them.

Disappointed. Length was fine, width was as well, but don't lace up as tightly as my last pair of Revels. In addition, I could feel my heel slipping from the moment I put them on. I ordered this shoe in oyster, and it's really more of a seafoam green - not what I expected. As another reviewer pointed out, the laces are thin and feel like they will not last long.

Shoes were to narrow. Hurt my pinkie toe after 1 hour of wearing. Also, pictures do now show you that these shoes are glittery and run more pink.

Very comfortable. Like them better than previous Revel models. I went with recommendation and got a 9 instead of my usual 8.5. They fit great. Love the color as well (dark gray with green).

Sized up one half size as suggested, the fit is perfect! These are SO cute and the support is amazing. I'm used thin, light running shoes and these are light also, while providing amazing cushion and support. They are sightly narrow, but I feel like they are narrow in a way that will only help support the foot.

I own 36 pairs of brooks. Need I say more?. Ghost are my favorite go to. Revel I loved the 2, 3, 4 best but that is because I prefer cushion neutral over the springy.

These fit great in my usual size, will be great as a casual shoe. Not as sturdy or heavy as running shoes which I like for every day use. The purple cheetah print is really fun!

I’ve been a loyal Brooks fan for years, always wearing the Launch model. Launch 7 was my favorite but they changed them after that model and I’ve been searching for a replacement. Enter the Revel 5. Love these!! The Revels are similar to the Launches in that they’re lightweight, not too cushioned (like the Ghosts) and have a smooth/clean upper. And the cornflower color is gorg. Wore them on a long walk straight out of the box with no issues. Always a size 8 in Launches and size 8 worked in these.

These are a neutral shoe, which I need to accommodate my Good Feet arch supports for my flat feet. These are comfortable and work well with my orthotics. Sometimes I'm a 9, sometimes I'm a 9.5. In these shoes, a 9.5 fits me well.
