These are a good comfy shoes. Feel something has changed in the making of this shoe. Does feel as cushioned as before good support.

I have worn the last couple versions of the Adrenaline and been very happy with them. I have multiple problems with my feet that I see a podiatrist for. This shoe works well although I have to lace it tight. This version seems very much like the previous ones to me when just trying it on for a short walk around my home. `I do like it, It has a little more room in the toe are than the Ariel and the Addiction (GTSes) in both length and width with my feet. I would not say it's a half size larger--just a smidge more. I will note though that I do buy a larger size in my athletic shoes. This is in line with the sizing on other athletic shoes to me. I may come back for another color in the near future because there are a lot of options in this shoe but I am returning this one in favor of keeping the Glycerin GTS (also Brooks). It just felt much better to my troubled feet than the Adrenaline especially around the toe area. FYI, I do use a custom insole from my podiatrist so I can't really comment on the arch support but the stability/motion control is there. I do wish Zappos would add an option to their reviews where we can mark "use my own insole" under the arch support area.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks Glycerin GTS worked better for me

I like these, but not my favorites style. I was looking for a double wide, width shoe that would have a large enough toebox for my feet, and the doctor recommended these. I’m keeping them, but they are not wide enough, and the toebox isn’t large enough. I’m not sure I will put the money into another pair after this. I’ll go back to orthofeet.

Great running shoe, very comfortable, these are wide enough, I feel the support which it’s awesome! The only thing I didn’t like was the laces were short, I can barely tie them

I am replacing my 21s with these and I can tell already that the padding is so much better in the 22s (especially in the front of the shoe where I need it the most) and the fit is great. That said, the laces are freakishly short as other reviewers have mentioned. I am saving the laces from my old 21s and will swap out the 22’s laces. It’s a shame to have to put old laces in brand new shoes, but I’m barely able to tie the new ones (and they’re not up to the top hole either). Very strange.

Comfortable but the color scheme makes them look like nurse shoes. I love Brooks quality but they seriously need to to sharpening up their styling and color schemes. Tip: a lot of women don’t want pink, turquoise, or purple on their sneakers. P.S. Brooks typically run a half size small.
I'd also recommend:
Hoka, On Running (great looking but not very durable)

Overall the shoe is acceptable but the Wide width is not a true wide IMHO. Since I have worn them I wont be able to return them so, will only be able to wear once in a while as I have a bunion that needs a true wide.

I have a wide forefoot, but fairly normal width heel, and these are the closest I can get to well fitted running shoes besides brands like Altra that are anatomically designed. The heel is still a little loose but using the extra lace holes I can get a decent fit. I just wish there were more of these in the nicer color options! I always end up with the ugly colored shoe since the rest are sold out.
I'd also recommend:
Altra

Shoe is very cute (super-nice since having a wide foot I can't usually find shoes that are anything more than functional). I had to purchase my own insoles in order for my forefoot/toes not to hurt, but I am giving 4 stars for cuteness and wide fore-foot! Will purchase again.

Nice stability and I think the suggestion to order a half-size larger than usual is good advice. The EE was too wide for me. Love the room in the toe box, but my foot slides around in the heel area. The D width might have worked, but I was very happy with the Hoka brand shoe I got at the same time.
I'd also recommend:
HOKA, New Balance

I thinki prefer the GTS 21 more, but these are very close. I ordered the black and white and the Black, purple, and coral. The birch and white is pretty much the same as last year's model, but the black and purple work together to make it look more navy than black. I wasn't a fan and sent that color back. See attached photos.

I’ve been wearing brooks 5-6 for years and this style is my go to. I don’t run but I do walk and work somewhere that has a cement floor so comfortable shoes with cushion are a must. I also have a wide foot and this is one of the few options that come in wide. My only real complaint with this model like others have complained about is the laces are way too short. I can barely get them tied and I’m not even using the last set of holes. I don’t know why they made the laces so short on this years model.

Love the fit and look of this shoe. It is super comfortable! It’s my 7th pair of Brooks. Only thing not thrilled with was the flat shoe strings seemed a little short.

Ordered wide for my wide feet. They are quite snug in the toes - but enough that after 30 minutes of just sitting, my neuroma is very aggravated. They are slightly too wide in the heels but this can be overcome with the right lacing - but this is difficult because the laces are short.

I have worn Adrenaline GTS sneakers for years. This model is very comfortable. The shoe laces are very short. I would prefer a longer size. Overall I would recommend them.

I felt the 22s are narrower than the 21s across the instep. Toe box is fine. The shoe laces are too short. Crazy short! Brooks should send everyone a decent set of laces. Any shorter and I would Have had to return the shoes!!

These are too tight on my feet and just not comfortable. The arch support is painful and not right for my gait. Also, the laces are too short.

I ordered this Brooks Adrenalin GTS22 in sizes 8 AND 8-1/2. The 8 was definitely too short (for me). The 8-1/2 felt better but a little large. Other than fit, I found the shoelaces unbelievably short, and the online color - stated to be gray - was almost white. Not for me. I'm staying with my recent order of New Balance 940 in 8M, dark gray. I do wish Zappos would STOP recommending 7-1/2 M, which I haven't been able to wear in running shoes in years. I have a pr. of Brooks Addiction I ordered a few years ago in 8-/12W, after several size tests. It's not bad but feels slightly too big. I do have foot issues w/a large bunion on the Left and overpronation w/both L & R. I always need to remove the manuf. insert and replace w/my 4/4 orthotic. Brooks is a great, well-made show. I like that its made in the US. I realize Brooks sizing and fit are a little different because of the greater range of offered sizes. I just haven't found the perfect one yet. Maybe the fit is little different between Adrenalin and Addiction??? Might try Brooks 8W again sometime, but not now. Last 8W test (Addiction) felt short but width was OK. I find that New Balance and Asics in 8M usually work well if toe box is roomy and rounded.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance, Asics, Dansko, Clarks, Brooks (but still looking for best size)

I own several pairs of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 20, 21 and 22. I purchased two pairs of the GTS 22 in May, and both fit perfectly. I returned one pair because I did not care for the color. I purchased another pair of GTS 22 (dark gray a with pink cuff) in November. It feels 1/4 to 1/2 a size larger than the others and was very uncomfortable to wear. I returned it. I wasn't sure how to rate this shoe since the review seems to be for the whole line and this size problem is with this particular color. Brooks Adrenaline GTS is my go-to shoe and this problem was disappointing. While I'm reviewing, I'll also throw in a criticism of the extremely short shoelaces that come with the GTS 22. Why mess with the shoelaces?

I almost bought these same shoes again! The color was awesome but gets dirty fast . I work in doors . One shoe got a tiny hole near toe area and I used gray thread and fixed it. (Zoom in) . I usually wear a 7.5 in Nike shoes but these I ordered a 8, but they slipped some on my heel ( I don’t wear thick socks I wear sock liners thin thin . They didn’t feel as snug as I like my shoes to. I went by recommended size for me. This time I ordered the black and pink in my regular size 7.5 , we’ll see. I’ll update in size when I get them . The insert is removable and I machine washed these a lot I didn’t put them in the dryer . I have terrible foot pain and yes my feet still hurt after wearing these , I wore my hoka bondi 7 to six flags all day and my feet didn’t hurt after as bad as when I wore my Brooks adrenaline gts 22 . However these do help me with balance more so than my hokas and Oofos .

I agree with other reviewers. The toe box does seem a bit narrower. I have relied on these shoes for the past three years, and I wonder why the company felt it necessary to change a good thing. The GTS 21 was the best fitting sneaker I have worn, an improvement over the GTS 20. But the 22, not so much. In addition, I wonder why the shoe laces are shorter. I cannot use the extra hole that helps with ankle stability like I can with the other versions, Very disappointing! Would also like to see a nice Gray/dark Gray combo in addition to all the wild colors, I wear these to work and something a bit more neutral would be helpful.
