I've run in Brooks Adrenaline for nearly 20 years, and they have always been in my rotation even while adding in other brands. These have consistently been the shoe I can count on for long miles, consistent mileage without injury, etc. However, this version sucks. I was warned before the first guide rail version that I might not like them anymore, but even those were fine. This version is too firm and inflexible, with an odd fit. I've been an 8.5B forever, and have typically tied my laces in a heel lock. I had to forego the heel lock in these because they're tight across the top & I can't let the laces out further. I stopped to mess with them 2-3x on my first run with them, which was a typical 4 mile paved loop I typically run for easy miles. On a separate easy run day in these, I stopped to walk after the ball of my foot started hurting badly about halfway in. I was hesitant to attribute the pain to these shoes because they've so consistently worked for me, but after about a month, I'm unfortunately pretty sure it's these shoes causing the issue. The foam just feels hard as a rock! The fit around my foot also feels different than usual, like it's both too tight across the top and way too loose on the sides and heel? Disappointing to say the least. I ordered a pair of Hokas to take the place of these and am hoping version 24 will be a return to the usual "go to shoe" for me.

I bought this because my previous pair were worn out. However, I am disappointed with the cushion and support. The first time I ran with them, they felt great for the first 3 miles but my feet started to hurt soon after. I just ran a 5k with them and my feet started to hurt just after 2 miles.

I don't love the new 23s. I wear them to walk the dog, about 10-15 miles per week. I was excited about the colors of these! However, I have pain in my arches wearing them. And, super annoying, I can barely WALK a half mile without having to stop and tie both shoes. I hate double knotting so while the laces are a relatively minor issue compared to the arch pain, its enough combined to turn me off of these. I'll grab a few pairs of 22s while they're on sale to hold me over until the next version comes out.

Not nearly as cushioned and comfortable as the 22s. Felt very stiff/inflexible and awkward. Returned and bought the 22s again.

I really like Brooks Adrenaline shoes. They are lightweight and comfortable. The first pair I bought remained in good condition for several years until the soles began to show wear. I bought a new pair in March, 2023, from a running shoe store and also decided to take advantage of the lower price on Zappos to get a second pair. After wearing the first pair for several months I noticed that my big toes had pushed back the reinforcement material at the shoes’ toes and were wearing a hole in mesh uppers on both shoes. I contacted Brooks customer service and after submitting some documentation they graciously sent me a new pair of shoes. In the meantime the shoes I purchased from Zappos have sat in my closet unused. Unfortunately, after wearing the Brooks replacement shoes for less than two weeks I find the reinforcing material is again being displaced by the friction from my toes. Since this problem didn’t occur with years of wearing the first pair of shoes I presume this is a flaw in the design of the shoes. Consequently I’m returning the ones I bought from Zappos and will be looking for another brand of running shoe when I next need a new pair.

I love the sneaker, the insole is just too hard.

I liked the design/colors offered with this shoe but it is not comfortable at all. I tried to give them a chance and break them in for several weeks but they're still not comfortable and cause more pain than my worn out Brooks. The Glycerins and Ghosts are much better and I am returning this one.

First off let me say that these shoes feel absolutely amazing when you put them on! The cushion does not disappoint. However, once I start running in them it feels as if they are too big as my feet slide upwards in them once I make contact with the ground. I can feel space between my ankle and the shoe I have to stop multiple times to tie the laces extra tight but even that doesn't help. I bought this pair in the same size as all of my other Adrenaline models that I've worn. I'm a long distance runner and I really wish they would stop changing the shoe each year :(

At first, these helped my Plantar Fascitis and I liked the wide fit/support but then they quickly started wearing down. Now they're hurting my feet to walk in, almost as bad as my old (cheaper) shoes.

I own a pair currently but wanted a second pair of the same as backup. This pair while exactly the same did not fit. They were too narrow and the heel did not have the same support. I don't know if it's because it's a new year and maybe a new manufacturer, but they did not fit correctly or feel like the older pair. But I had to return them.

I've worn Brooks for years. My most recent pair arrived approx a month ago. The cut on the left shoe under my ankle bone if off. I've been hoping it would break in but it hasn't and now I have a bone bruise. As you can imagine I am not happy with my new shoes because I can't wear them and my ankle hurts. Would you consider replacing them?

The laces you are using in all your shoes are terrible. They are cheap and don't stay tied. Fortunately I have some old laces that I immediately switch to. My family of runners has been having the same problem. For the price of the shoes.please go back to the old laces.

The 22/23 sneaker - Collar on back of shoe too high and aggravates my Achilles tendon. The 20 model is perfect and very comfortable for all day use. I do not run - wear them for everyday use and work. I found the 22 model is too small (tried 9-1/2) and it pinched. Seemed narrower. Also, laces too short on 22. Will wait for the 24 model to come out eventually.

Not as comfy as my GTS 21 version, much less arch support and the toe box is narrower. Disappointed that the fit is so changed from previous year of the same shoe.

I've had many pairs of the Brooks Adrenaline running shoes and they are usually amazing! Something must have changed with this new model, because they cause a lot of rubbing, discomfort, and blisters on the ankle area.

I'm disappointed in this pair. They are not as cushioned and comfortable as I expected them to be. They look good on the outside, but the inside is a let down.

I have been purchasing Brooks Adrenaline a my main tennis shoe since 2006. This is the first one that has been uncomfortable. The lining seems different and masks my feet hurt.

LOVE the comfort of these and how much they helped with my back and knee pain. I am a nurse and on my feet all day. But I have had these a little less than a year and the cloth has come off right where my ankle is and its rubbing my ankle. I go on walks at lunch and felt something dribble, and it had rubbed my ankle so raw that it started bleeding. For the cost of these, they should absolutely last longer than a year!!! I couldn't give the rating I feel like they deserve as far as comfort and support due to them not holding up

Really liked that I could get these in narrow. The fit was great, but after a week or two the left shoe was rubbing a sore spot/ blister at the base of my big toe.

I used to wear the Ravenna. Once that was discontinued and re-designed, I bought the Launch GTS 9. The wear was the same on the sole and around the ball of my foot where I have the most issues. However, the lining in the shoe at the heel wore through to a hole. So, after speaking with a friend who also wears Brooks, I tried this shoe. I had blisters on my heels the first day I wore them. I have never had an issue with breaking in a Brooks sneaker. I returned them. I am at a loss of what Brooks shoe I should get and may have to switch brands.
