The toe box was short

Just for the record, Brooks is not what it was about 5 years ago. My old shoe has excellent arch support, the new shoe is more expensive and as nearly as I can tell, has very inadequate support. I'm not sure if I'll keep the shoe. I need to eventually replace my old pair of Brooks. So far, years have gone by, and I can't find a decent replacement--in a narrow size.

The updates to the addiction do not fit like the Addiction 12. Not as much cushioning and the arch is different.

I am a long timer wearer of the Brooks Addiction 13 and had several pairs of those. These 15's are not the same. They are much stiffer and not as cushioned. They don't bend much when I walk and are just not as comfortable as the 13's. Maybe they would have softened up over time, but I had several pairs of the 13"s and they were comfortable right out of the box. I am sending them back because I am not willing to take the chance. In terms of sizing, they were true to size in my "Brooks Size". I normally wear a size 9. Sometimes I wear a 9.5 in athletic shoes. In Brooks, I need a 10. So, I would say they run small but now that I know 10 is my Brooks Size, they do run true to that size.

Love the color. I wear 7.5 but ordered 8. My toe is at the end. They are also tight across in width. I had already worn them to work so could not return them. At end of the day they felt really tight on my foot. They are expensive shoes soooooo.

The fit was fine, but rubbed around ankle area. Would like a little more arch support.

if you wear custom orthotics, you can easily insert them, however the very very padded heel area , is so thick that it is uncomfortable, I ordered the grey and honestly not very attractive

I bought an 8.5., my normal size. My toe was hitting the top of the shoe somehow causing pain. The arch support in the shoe was also hitting my arch/instep in a weird way which also caused me pain. I've owned Brooks Addiction before. These just don't cut it, for me. The heel depth is also too shallow for orthotics and for my foot, in general.

I bought the shoes for Christmas and had been wearing them in rotation with other Brooks products until recently when they became uncomfortable. I use custom orthotics. The inner lining in the toe box has “wrinkled” and now rubs making the shoes unwearable on my arthritic and diabetic feet. A total of 20 days wear is not acceptable for the price.

too tight

The shoe fit as expected. The shoe is billed as having a cushioning footbed but it sure didn't feel like it to me. I didn't leave it on my foot long enough to decide if it had good arch support or not. The lack of cushion was a "no go" for me as soon as I took a few steps in it.

I purchased Addiction because these were the ONLY sneakers which gave my problematic feet support, and I had NO pain walking. This 3rd pair this year felt tighter. Even the laces were shorter! I had to return them. I hope it was just a fluke and they were incorrectly marked(sized) but not happy if this is the way they are trending.

My heel slipped in these. I tried lacing them tighter and that made the top of my feet hurt. They are heavier than my old adrenaline's and just seem bulkier overall.

Sadly, Brooks has changed the design of these shoes and they no longer offer the cushion or support of the older design. The shoes felt worn out on the first run. These have been my go to running shoes for 6+ years but I'll have to find something else. @Brooks, please revert back to the original design!

Personally was disappointed in the comfort of this shoe. Very little support feels like I an walking on the ground with no support. I bought this shoe because it was top rated with podiatrist so I thought it would be an awesome shoe. The padding is so not there. It is not a shoe for someone who is on their feet for long periods of time. I wasted my money.

Good support, especially for those who need stability and motion control. But there is not enough depth and my heel kept slipping and coming out of the shoe. Had to return them for that reason. I've tried many Brooks shoes and they all have this same problem. But the Addiction is advertised as being "roomy" and deep enough for an orthotic, but it is not. So disappointing. It's a great looking shoe otherwise, but that's not enough. It has to fit and hold the foot in place. It also runs narrow and short, so order 1/2 size larger and full size wider, if you decide to try it.

Inconsistent sizing has been a consistent problem with the addictions.

These sneakers felt like they were a whole size too small. The back of the heel dug in. If you want to order, size up. I think they could be comfortable if the size was right.

These were supposed to be Xtra Wide, way too small, terrible fit, returned.

felt very odd for brooks . rubbed very bad at the outside area where say a bunion would be . i was looking forward to these for work for orthodics and totally bummed .

These shoes were a huge disappointment. I’ve been wearing Brooks Addiction for probably 10 years, and the two times I’ve run in this new pair I’ve had a horrible backache the next day. They definitely made changes for the worse, and I’m going to have to find a new shoe…possibly even a new brand as I need shoes that are highly cushioned, and these aren’t it anymore.

This shoes seems to run small. It was the most uncomfortable shores I have ever purchased. There is no arch comfort. I would not recommend this shoes to anyone who does a lot of walking or on their feet for long hours. Very disappointed.

I have different size feet. 10 and 10.5. Brooks solve the problem. I bought the 10.5. (Many brands do not carry a 10.5 and an 11 is too big and 10 too short.) Good comfort and support.
