Excellent support for a person with plantar fasciitis. The gentleman at the running/ walking store that my podiatrist recommended said that this has the best support for my condition. I verified that when comparing it with other Brooks shoes. It is like having an orthotic already in your shoe. It would be nice to see alternate colors available.

Very comfortable and good support. I bought a half size bigger which worked out.

My go-to, wear-for-walking shoe has been the Addiction Walker in leather, but it is SO nice to have these in a more modern look! Also I am forever grateful to Brooks for making shoes in 2A (narrow) which is not easy to find. I will share one caveat which may or may not apply to others. I find that I need to order these shoes much longer. I wear an 8.5 narrow in a street shoe with a Spenco Thin full orthotic. However, in the Brooks I use a professional, molded orthotic which is half size, but thicker than a Spenco. I have had to move to a size 10 in Brooks Addiction to accommodate this orthotic and give me enough room in the toe box. I continue to order the narrow for my best fit. I would conclude that these shoes run short—and that ordering up a size might be prudent.

Love these shoes, have bought the same style and size before, so I knew they’d be the right size and fit.

I know to buy 1/2 size larger than my other shoes but consistently find Brooks Addiction Walkers to be the best shoe for my arches and foot stability. This medium gray color is perfect with black or blue pants.

Lots of toe room. Very comfortable, lightweight.

I usually wear a 10.5 Narrow in most shoes. This is the first time I've tried Brooks so I ordered a 1/2 size up as recommended and they fit great. I wore them today for the first time to exercise class. I think they will be wonderful after a little breaking in.

a real keeper

Going to the double wide make a huge difference. This is a quality sneaker that makes walking effortless! Been squeezing my toes into a 9 wide for years, it was time to move on to the XXwide. Not big all over. Just wear it counts :)

These fit true to size like all other Brooks I’ve worn. These maximum stability shoes have tremendously helped my plantar fasciitis when nothing else has.
