Comfortable and affordable trainers, but cushion lacks springiness and yields kind of a dead impact. Also I find I get more shin splint discomfort on these than on thinner minimalist trainers (I?m a neutral forefront striker). I may use these less for running and more for gym and walking. You may not set any PRs with these, but they?re good to have in your rotation. Also, these are larger than Brooks tru fit recommended; I should have gone a 0.5 size smaller.

Let me start this review off by saying I am not a runner. I use these shoes in daily life, so maybe a couple miles a day at most. I also came from the adrenaline line of brooks and those were of high comfort. I wasn't impressed by the comfort level. It's not the worst show though either, really it's just kind of in the middle which is why I gave it 3 stars. Below average for a brooks but still better than most shoes.

The sole is less ?cushiony? than the revel 3 was. It also feels more narrow. The shoe is fine for walking/lifting but I would not use it for running and would only buy if it was on sale.

The 2E was still too narrow for hubby. He normally wears 2E guess we will have to try 4E. Please advise which 2E is the widest of all your shoes

This was a solid shoe! Definitely on the firmer side, and not as plush or responsive as other shoes out there, especially when those are on sale. As running shoes, I couldn't take these past the 10km distance without discomfort. That being said, the rubber holds up well. I'm almost 50+ miles in and they show no real signs of wear on the sole. They do work very well in the gym, however, and are great for commuting in on. It's just that in a world of super shoes and responsive foams, these are not as much as a deal as the novablast 1, which you can get on sale at the same price here

I sent them back. Felt like there was not one smooth surface for my feet to set on.

I've always loved the Brooks brand and they're commitment to helping runners. As as a fitness professional I've been using Brooks shoes for years. I've been a little discouraged the past couple years with the shoes I've purchased. It seems like the soles have gotten harder and the width more narrow. I've had to return the past several pair I've purchased from Brooks due to comfort and sizing issues. This saddens me because I live the look of the skies and they have always performed week for me in the past. Maybe it is time to add some wider width options? Also, as someone who deals with plantar fasciitis, we need a line with cloud- like squish? Thank you for reading and supporting athletes! PS- would also love some more cross training options!

I wish I could give this shoe a better rating. It's good-looking and light and is a great fit. I wear them mainly for walking. They're somewhat springy, but there's almost no support at the ball of my foot on the insides just below the big toe. Just walking I'm bottoming out. I'm comparing them to a pair of Levitate StealthFit GTS5's that I wore out just walking. The Levitates still out-spring the Revel5's. Disappointing.

Lightweight shoe with multiple design options to chips from. Disappointing how the material flexes better the ball and inner arch on each foot. Luckily bought these just for day to day casual wear. Would not want to run in these.

I?ve never worn books before these are just OK. I can tell they?re not their high-end shoe. They are very lightweight and comfy but my feet hurt a bit after I run.

A decent shoe, but not available in wide width which is what i needed. Also, these feel very light, almost too light, like they are made cheaply. The heel is cushy.

I would say that I have a middle of the pack size foot, not too wide not too narrow, but these shoes felt a little tight. That?s not why I return them.. these shoes came brand new in the box moldy and that?s why I returned them. I gave these three stars purely based on my previous experience with Brooks, ease of communication, return and the refund hitting within 24hrs of the barcode being scanned. If you?re going to buy these shoes, my only real thought is they might be a little tight in the arch.

I?m using it as a casual walker, and it?s comfortable. The white & blue is whiter than expected; the 11.5 shorter than most, and the 12 longer. Will try another 11.5 & the grey next time.

I have a pair of Adrenaline 20 shoes purchased about two years ago. The fit is perfect. I ordered size 10, medium width. I wanted a new shoe for use in my fitness center, where I walk the track and use strength-building machines. So I purchased this shoe in the same size. Unfortunately, the shoe is not of the same construction and feels too long and wide. I should have returned the shoe but didn't want to deal with the hassle since it serves the purpose. But I now know that there can be variations in size and shoe. There is plenty of bounce as I walk the track, so a runner with the proper size would appreciate that.

It was a great shoe .my situation changed .didn’t need it any longer .it was hard to send it back. I will say the $108 price tags is a little out of joint with the level of style and quality. I think 90.00 tax included would be a fair price for that shoe. Fit was as advertised .excellent.

the shoe is generally comfortable with good support in the footbed, however the tongue is oddly small and often gets folded over causing discomfort when running or walking. Not sure what the design benefits of this would be, other than reduction of material needed for the shoe.

These felt pretty good on my first couple of runs and overall I?m happy with them. I wear on the bottom is already a little alarming though and I?ve only got about 60 miles on them so far. I hope that does not get much worse. I will likely move back to Adrenalines when I?m done with these though.

Ugly shoes! The color was supposed to be gray but they were a neutral purple color. Very uncomfortable and cheap feeling. No arch support.

Unfortunately, inadequate support is provided by this shoe. I normally order either Brooks Ghost or Glycerin styles and they provide very good support. I thought I would the Revel, but it just does not work.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks Ghost or Brooks Glycerin
