I work a retail job and walk 3-5 miles a day on concrete. These shoes get the job done. This is my 3rd pair of brooks and they have been great. Don't sleep on Brooks. The blue color is way too loud.

I like the shoe, but I prefer the Revel 4. These feel just a little more narrow and not quite as comfortable.

Light shoe, all the right support. Not a fan of the laces and the holes they go into look like holes in fabric with no reinforcement or support.

The shoes are comfortable. A weird thing is that when starting to walk both shoes do a popping sound that goes away within several steps.

They're good but I must say I like my Ghost pair better. The Ghosts seem to have more spring and cushion.

Love these shoes, i usually get the Levitates every year, but they are light and good feel on the feet (toe box is a bit roomy). 4 stars because the shoe strings cut off circulation in foot and toes have some side to side movement, but that could be because of the break-in time. Maybe stealthfit Revel?

1st time with Brooks. Looks good, comfortable - yes, cushion - yes. But, feels really awesome in Ultraboost from Adidas, it's like Mercedes after Opel )))

Decent support and cushioning. Not quite as good as my Revel 3 shoes were.

Shoes are great. They just stain so easy with normal use.

It fits better than the Launch. This is my 4th pair of Revels. Brooks has gotten on the "cheap it, price the same" train. Tongue is smaller, laces are thinner, sole is one piece instead of 3, feels a little skinnier, just feels cheaper all over. This is probably my last pair of Brooks.

Comfortable and good fit. Used mostly for walking. Only complaint is the laces are 10-12? too long.

One of the shoes had a stain on the toe, and one of the aglets was frayed. Otherwise, they?re overall a great running shoe. Very comfortable.

It?s a amazing all around shoe. Does take time time to break in. I do like the GTS better, but those aren?t really an all around shoe. These are very lite. I will probably get a 2nd pair. BROOKS SHOES ARE WAYYYY BETTER THAN ANY NIKE.

This shoe is extremely comfortable. Coming from the New Balance fresh foam the cushioning is equivalent or slightly higher. The one disappointment is the width. This Brooks seems more narrow than the New Balance I had been wearing. I have never had to wear a wide in any shoe, but the Brooks seems to be more narrow and I believe I would have been more comfortable in a wide.

I bought these shoes about three months ago and immediately fell in love with them. They were my first pair of Brooks. While I don't run, I walk a lot in a busy retail environment. They are super comfortable and look great. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the black sole was separating from the base of the shoe. If it wasn't for the durability issue, they would be the perfect shoes.

I normally wear the Launch series and have been very pleased. My local Academy did not have the color I wanted and the Revel 5 wasn't on Brooks website but they had them in stock at the store that day. So, I decided to check them out. Because of the upper I was actually able to go down a size. I have very wide feet 7.5 EE and normally end up in a 10. I was able to get into a 9 comfortably. There's a lot of cushion and the ride is very smooth. I was worried coming from Launch on the weight given the size of the cushion. I don't need a speed shoe but I didn't want something clunky feeling and at 8.7oz, these are Goldilocks--just right. They're even lighter than my PureFlows which is a fast feeling shoe. I never ran with them in the rain but don't think they'd do well. My PureFlow 7's are almost waterproof and take a mile in the rain and keep me reasonably dry as long as I stay out of the puddles. These are great for running but not a cross train shoe as they don't like lateral movement. I wore them for a year and ran about 5 miles a week. The ankle did pill up like crazy almost immediately and began to considerably wear on one foot the last month of use. This shoe feels like it has at least another 3 months life left and maybe more since they won't be my primary. I would say these are slight nuisances and prob more indicative of my gait in an otherwise great shoe! I just received my second pair or Revel 5 (for Christmas) in another color and love them too!

These were one of a few choices available to me through a company promo so I didn't have much variety to choose from. That being said, I would have looked for a shoe with more arch support. I deal with plantar pain and this shoe is not ideal for that. However, the shoe does feel comfortable. Based on other reviews, I got a half size bigger than my usual and I am glad I did. It does seem to run a little small. The feel around my ankles is fine and there is no excessive or annoying rubbing. The shoes are also lightweight. If you need arch support, get something else.

Shoe fit is tight and foot feels like it's moving downhill. Must order a 1/2 size larger and a wide fit over standard medium width to help compensate for a better fit. A hard to fit shoe, so check out other models before a decision.

Ordered 1/2 size larger than my snug fitting merrells, these are good on the length but a bit narrow in width. They broke in over time so I decided to keep them. The tread will wear out soon so I'll purchase wide versions in the future.

I have owned several pairs of brooks and I always wear the same size. This pair was way too long and a little wide for me. very weird
