Love the shoes to keep feet dry. The new style laces are a little slippery and hard to keep tied without a double knot. Had to replace with other laces. I am an avid walker (not a runner) everyday rain or shine and these shoes keep my feet dry and comfortable in rainy and cold weather.

I was getting desperate looking for a comfortable waterproof shoe for a Spring trip to Norway. Although I pretty much live in Brooks, their women’s waterproof shoe does not come in wide. I tried some other manufacturers’ shoes, but none of them provided a comfortable fit. Finally I called Brooks directly & learned an average men’s shoe is the same width as a wide in women’s. I went down from an 8 1/2 women’s wide to a men’s 7, put in my orthotics, and they fit perfectly. Didn’t even need a break-in period. Comfortable & the perfect solution for those walks through melting snow.

Great shoe. Have gone through the last 5-6 generations of the Ghost and always got good runs from them.
The only negative I have is the laces are thin and twist easily. Hard to tie and often come undone unless I double knot.

I bought these when I had a beach run with potential runs through water coming up quick. Fortunately, I already had other Brooks shoes and the sizing/feel worked out so no issues there. I got these shoes just in time to do a test run and the beach run and they worked out great. My feet stayed dry, didn't get too hot, and no pains after the run.

Durable and comfortable! Living in Florida during the summer months is a sure way to get wet. These Ghost 14 GTX are the perfect balance of keeping feet dry while maintaining comfort. This shoe is used as an everyday walking shoe around construction sites.

I?ve worn Brooks for most of the last decade. I run 3 days a week outside year round. If you live in an area where the grass is constantly wet with dew and there is a good chance of rain a couple of times a week, do your self and your wet feet a favor and try a pair of gortex lined Brooks. They are a game changer. I wish they offered more shoes with gortex.

My feet love Brooks. They are comfortable from the first moment I put them on. I fast walk, do stairs, 10 to 12 miles 6 days a week.

Purchased 5 pairs of the ghost 14s this last summer all exceptional . So thought maybe the GTX would be nice for the winter. Got them and they looked and felt great other then they were just way small? Maybe because of the Goretex lining Still wanted to keep em, but sent them back very easy to do thanks Brooks greatly appreciated. Wear size 10 across the board in most all brands. Was going to just size up a half on reorder but pulled the trigger on a pair of the new Ghost 15s to check them out.
