The new shoe isn?t as supportive as my old Ghost 14. Seems to allow my foot to lay to the inside. I go back to my old shoes instead of grabbing the new shoe.

I was considering 3 stars but had to drop to two because the previous version of this show was the greatest ever. The first issue is that they make my feet stink. My feet don?t usually stink. But I wore these one day, right out of the box and my feet stink worse than they ever had. Also, even though my feet are not that wide but they are falling off the sides of the soles. The ghost has dropped from my favorite show to a show I am going to donate to a homeless shelter.

I have bought probably 15 different Brooks running shoes over the years and most often of late is the Ghost series going back to single digits...Ghost 8 or maybe even earlier. As is the case with shoe companies they change something every year, sometimes for the good and sometimes not. These are the worst of the bunch. First impression is the shoe string. I know, it's just a shoe string that can be swapped with a hundred others but this thing was flimsy and thin and not made for a good solid knot. If they cheap out there, what else did they cheap out on I wondered. The answer was the cardboard like tongue that poked into the spot between foot and leg, you know, the front of the ankle. Not comforturable and it is so stiff I doubt it will soften up over time. So back these things go and hats off to Zappos for the easy return so there is no hassle. Maybe this is why they were on such a steep discount. Still not worth it though and I wouldn't wear them even if they were free. To say I am bummed is an understatement. I loved Brooks but something changed, and IMO not in a good way.

My husband's pair is awesome, but mine not so much. One is bigger than the other, but I still wear them I work at a pizza shop and they have the best support.

Not as comfy as the Brooks Ghost 13. Felt like running in sandals at times.

There is zero durability in this mesh upper. My teen had holes in less than 1 month

Not as good as previous versions of the ghost shoes. Shoes had no damp traction and caused slipping.

I've been wearing Brooks for years. I regularly get 400 plus miles out of the shoes. I've gone through 2 pairs of Ghost 14 in less than 200 miles. The material inside the shoe is just not holding up. Specifically the heel area. Both pair same thing. I'm not sure if it the recycled materials or what but there seams to be a durably issue. Definitely not the quality that I've loved about brooks.

The quality of these shoes has dived since my last pair of Ghosts. My new ones have been lightly used and in less than 2 months noticed the cushioning has crushed/ deflated to the point that my 2-3 year pair is almost more cushy than the new pair. Also the lining near the toe has come unglued / separated from the rest the the toe box so it?s constantly rubbing against my toes/ in the way of toe movement. Not sure if this is due to pandemic manufacturing issues but not pleased with my second pair.

I like everything about these shoes except 1 thing, the cushion pads, primarily the right foot. I usually buy a couple pairs at a time and rotate (mainly because I wear them outside of my 6-7 mile daily power walks) so they actually only get 1/2 the wear and tear during a normal cycle. But for some reason with the last 2 pairs the cushion on my right foot started slipping up my heal. 1st one thought it was a flaw, threw them out and ordered a new pair. New pair after about 2 months...same thing. Kind of a waste to throw out shoes before their time. Emailed Brooks and they suggested baby powder, but I knew once they start riding, you can't stop them from riding. I'll just stay away from the Ghost 14 for now on I guess.

The toe box seems to be too narrow, especially for a 2E sized/width shoe.

These must be the worst pair of Ghost's I've ever owned and I've gone through a lot of Ghost shoes. They are very expensive for how cheaply they are made. The mesh rips early on and the soles of the shoes are completely worn through after about 275 miles. I normally get a little over 400 miles out of a pair of ghosts before I have to replace them. The shoe laces are awful. They keep coming undone because of how slippery they are. You would think if a pair of shoes was branded towards runners they would want the shoe laces to stay tied. If you can find a pair of 13's maybe go that way instead of the 14.

They are light, comfortable for the 1st mile to mile and a half. Then they start hurting the ball of my feet. Not as good as I hoped.

After 2 weeks of running in this shoe the outer sole has worn much faster than it?s predecessor the ghost 13. All streets and surfaces are the same for both shoe models.

Me being nit picking but you asked. To start I love this shoe just not the color i bought. The Gray is much lighter than how it shows up on the website. The may as well be white and are covered in dirt within a few runs. Will have to buy new pair for everyday.

Pretty decent running shoe but cheap, shoe strings. Why put $.49 shoe string on a classic shoe. No more. Going to a different brand that doesn't sacrifice quality!!
