After about 50 miles I?ve confirmed I am not a fan of the new model ghost. I?ve had the last 4 models, and they made the toe box noticeably more narrow. I wear a 2e and taking any slight turn causes my foot to start sliding off the side of the shoe. I?ve never had this problem with previous models. As always they?re comfortable when you put them on, and the tread is holding well, but they?re too narrow for wide feet, even in a 2e.

This color stains very easily and hard to clean.

I wear the Ghost 14 sneaker. The insole fabric rubs off on my white crew socks. They are ruined. Do you plan to address this in future Ghost sneakers?

Size was fine but narrower than thought would be for Extra Wide.

Brooks is by far the best running shoes. I have used Brooks the last 4 years and I never went back to other brands. I mainly used my Brooks for long distance runs. I used to be very happy until the Ghost 13 model. However, my last Ghost 14 was not up to my expectations. The soles were worn off very quickly, and after some days the tread on the bottom was unglued. I have run almost 800 kilometers with my Ghost 13 pair and its soles are in a better condition compared to my Ghost 14 pair, after 200 kilometers!!! I am very disappointed but I will wait for the new model before I switch back to other brands?

It?s feels ok but for the price they should be a lot better. I think I am still breaking them in and trying them after close to a month already. I think they should be in the $60-$80 range as they are just ok in my opinion.

I have always liked Brooks shoes, in fact because of a 15 narrow it is about the only one I can buy. Never had a problem with them but these are wearing bad around the top of them. This has never happened before. They also feel a bit wider than the other ones I have bought in the past.

The shoe felt a little narrow in the toe area for me compared to the ghost 13 I tried on in a store.

Great shows but they don’t last. The heals always wear out. They need to go back to a textured fabric for the heel

My first pair of Brooks was the Ghost 13 that I picked up when I began running again in 2020, loved the 13 and logged many miles in them. So when it was time to pickup a new pair I went for the Ghost 14?s without hesitation and have had mixed feelings about the redesign. I have picky feet and have generally had best luck with shoes with wider toe boxes which in the 13?s in a 2E width was perfect, plenty of room for my toes to spread out but in the 14?s I?ve noticed the toe box even in the 2E width appears to be much narrower than the 13?s when placed side by side. I will agree with other reviewers that the cushioning is better in the 14 but for me the changes to the toe box are not working out and I?ve sought out another pair of the 13?s which have worked so well for me. Hopefully the 15?s will bring back the wider toe box otherwise I?ll be looking for another shoe.

I have been using brooks since my ankle surgery in 2012, and have purchased a couple of different versions of the ghost series. This version of ghost is comfortable on the feet, but there are a few things I wish they would correct: 1) The shoe laces on older versions are better. These flat shoe laces tend to loosen up and untie quickly, which does not supply to support I need for my ankle. 2)The bottoms of the shoes started coming off within 3 or so months of wearing them, which should not happen for a shoe that cost as much as these do. 3) The toe box is a little roomy. I tend to like a little bit tighter of a shoe, so that my ankle gets the support it needs, but I do understand that some people do prefer a toe box to have a little bit more space. Overall the shoe is a decent shoe, I just wish the laces did not loosen so easily and that the shoe did not start to fall apart so quickly.

Overall, I like the shoe and would have rated it 5 stars, but the fabric of the shoe frayed in one spot after a month of gentle use (ie. walking my kids to the bus stop and going to the grocery store). It's not terrible, but disappointing. Hopefully it's just my pair.

I have always bought shoes off the clearance rack and never spent over $70. So I decided to splurge in May 2021 with a proper shoe fitting to buy a new pair of sneakers. The guy who measured my feet said I did not need wide shoes even though I have worn wide shoes since my teenage years. I also went down a size apparently. The shoes fit well and were very comfortable. But six months later, the side of the right shoe and the rubber of the sole have separated. Maybe this is normal but for someone who has not used the shoes but to walk the dog and occasionally run with the dog, these shows did not last long at all.

These run a little small. They are lightweight and it remains to be seen how durable they will be.

This is my third pair of Brooks but my first pair of Ghost 14. With each pair I require a half size smaller than the prior pair. I know my feet aren't getting any shorter/smaller so I caution buyers to go down a size or half a size when ordering.

Quality is better than the 13's, but these shoes still don't last as long as they should. Also, Brooks switched the Ghost 14 back to flat laces, and they are constantly loosening or even opening. Why devolve your product? Bring back the spongy laces, please!

Runs smaller than the 13. Earned myself some black toenails on my middle toes after a couple of runs, despite using thin socks. Had to return, which was a bummer, because the cushioning felt great.

I've been happily running in the Ghost model for many iterations and was surprised to find my brand new Ghost 14's delivered with FLAT shoelaces that like to untie themselves as I run. What happened to the nice squishy-always-stay-tied round laces you had on the 12's and 13's? Bring them back - please! Why has Brooks taken a step backwards using guaranteed to untie when you run FLAT shoelaces on the brand new 14's? I'll see you on the side of the road; I'll be the guy bent over re-tying my FLAT shoelaces.

After breaking them in for a week they are super comfortable and work great for me. AMAJOR downside is that only 3 colors come in Wide (2E). How are there resources to create new styles with beer on them, but not enough to increase the selection available in Wide sizes?

Not as roomy in the tow box as Ghosts once were but the length is true to size. A bit stiff and not as cushiony as I’d like for the sole height. These feel like trail shoes with thick soles. Overall I’d say these shoes are just okay for the price. They do seem sturdy, so I’ll have okay shoes for a long time. Is that good?

When first got the Ghost 14, they were great. Comfortable out of the box, and didn?t seem too dissimilar to the Ghost 13 that I was coming from. However, after running in them for a little over a month and putting ~100 miles on them they?ve completely changed on me. Their cushions have altered my striking and I?ve found I?m getting knee and hip pains that I?ve never had previously. I?d rather run in my retired Ghost 13 TBH. Disappointed because I REALLY wanted to love these and loved the 13, but I guess that?s what I?ll be going back to from here.

I've been a Brooks fan for a few years now. Ordered some Ghost 14's after wearing the Adrenaline for the past few years. The Ghost seems to run a 1/2 size small (I wear 11's in all shoes, yet these fit very snug). The wear on them during daily use (no runs) doesn't seem to be very good. I have portions of the sole randomly flake off. Hasn't deterred me from being a fan of Brooks, but I've been disappointed in the Ghost 14's.

Something changed in this shoe, I tried them on just walking and could feel my knee hurting but more my arch. Once I ran in them they were ok, but I ached. I went back to the Ghost 13 and all was good again. I am glad Brooks make so many different running shoes. Nobody has the perfect foot.

The toe box is narrower than previous ghost models. The materials didn't feel as soft either. It won't work for me.
