Very comfortable, but very delicate. The foam at the heel separated after wearing these twice and there is no way to fix it.

Ok, went from Beast 20 to Ghost looking for more toe room. Toe box is awesome but would like more stability. Need a combination of Beast 20 & Ghost 14!!!

Very simply put, my new Brooks hurt my feet. Before purchasing I did go through the specifications for selecting the Ghost 13 for my feet because of its comfort and stylization for providing comfort to my areas of challenge for my feet. Unfortunately as I am still breaking them in they still hurt my feet and my progress for wearing them comfortably is developing. I am hopeful.

Let me first say.....I am a Ghost loyalist. I have loved their comfort and their ability to hold up for much longer than their competition. However, this pair of shoes.....wooo weee..... they suck. I am hoping because of Covid, Brooks was forced to buy substandard materials and this is a fluke. Immediately the heel cushion, which has always been superior, broke down immediately. Flat and holes in the material. And the rest of the material is pilling. And now I've noticed the toe has an entire piece that has been stripped and fallen off. I can tell the heel cushioning is not holding up either. It's sad. When you pay that much for shoes, you expect them to hold up. This pair wasn't even used for running. They were only used to work in a hospital 3 days a week. I would hate to see what a true road runner's shoe looks like right now. Two of my co-workers had the same issue. Hoping Brooks makes note of this review and makes necessary changes. I've always loved Brooks Ghost, but I won't stick with a brand that can't hold up.

Heavier than expected. Not that comfortable. Nice looking though.

The Ghost 14 seems to be a decent trainer. It is lighter than my last trainer. Really, I just bought them for the green clovers which I really enjoy. My two longest road runs have been 15mi & 18mi. The left shoe has an awkward raised curve in the middle of the foot. I have an average foot; I didn?t notice it until I had ran about 50 miles. I have the shoe in my rotation of shoes for my 2-4 weekly runs & intend to keep them in the rotation.

50/50 - aging foot, loss of cushion in ball area; not sure if it's my foot, the shoe or both. Not enough support in arch area. I'm resigned to replacing the stock insert with a walk hero support insert. This seems to correct both issues.

I felt that the ghost 14 was a good shoe but was more fit like a Nike rather than a Brooks branch you. I loved the pure cadence and adjusted to the pure flow style, but I may look for a different shoe next time.

My new Ghost 14 fit well but are not as comfortable on long runs as past versions. Not a bad shoe, I just will find something different for longer runs.

Well bought these shoes again back in DEC 2021 and have been great just like the Ghost 13, but just like the Ghost 13 after 2 months they broke down on me again. (See pictures) both shoes 13 and 14 both did this and while these were the best shoes I have worn when working on concrete at the hospital for my job. Don't see how after 2 months this happens or understand it for the money that you spend. Hope Brooks sees this and can explain it

If I ever get kidnapped, I will ask my kidnapper to use my Ghost 14 laces to tie me up bc they stay tied for approximately 2.3 seconds before the come untied.

Don't like the new shoe laces. Had to take some out of an old pair. The insoles in the new shoe isn't as cushioned as previous ones.

These are my 11th or 12th pair of Brooks ghost shoes. I have loved them for over 12 years. However, this time the other reviews are correct. The footboard is too narrow and uncomfortable. I am really disappointed, will probably be looking for another brand of shoes that doesn?t change their sizing after years of a perfect fit.

I have worn brooks for years so I was used to the fit. These however were tighter in the toe box than previous versions. The drop is more noticeable as well. The cushion felt the same as previous versions. I returned because the cushion is the same as always but not as plush or responsive as other shoes on the market now.

This is my first pair of performance running shoes, and I actually quite like this shoe, save for the nearly triangle-shaped toe box that rubs against my big toes and sometimes feels like it's pressing down on my toenails at times. However, after wearing this shoe, I felt like I was able to run for the first time possibly a decade. While the midsole of the shoe isn't "springy" like other running shoes I've tried, this shoe does a good job of not sapping my energy with every step I take. I didn't expect the 10mm heel drop to make this much of a difference in how the shoe feels, but it doesn't take long to get used to. I haven't had many complaints about the laces as of yet, but I do notice that they can come partially undone if you don't double lace them. I feel like I can trust the grip of the shoe, even if I haven't taken these in the rain yet. What I do have an issue with, however, is how narrow the toe box is, especially in a 4E shoe. My toes tend to spread out a lot during my day-to-day and at the gym, and if I'm not keeping an eye on it, the shoe will start pushing on my toenails. Future iterations of this shoe, especially at extended widths, need to take into account how far toes on wide feet spread. Also, can you please make more colors besides grey and black available for 4E widths? Thank you!

I have used several generations of ghost. I usually put them on and can go on a regular run out of the box and the only difference I feel is the new "feel" of having better cushioning. With these it was different and I immediately had the feeling that the fit was different. This was confirmed to me in an email from Brooks, apparently because of new design/manufacturing methods. They suggested an alternate model. Early on the shoes rubbed in spots where the other earlier models never did (I wear the same socks all the time). The laces were OK, but at the 300 mile mark they started unlacing when I run, so now I double knot them and it's OK. I put in hundreds and hundreds of miles on the older Ghosts and never had it happen... but the older laces were different. I still love Brooks, but this is not an automatic purchase for me anymore.

I love Ghost running shoes but the redesign and narrower to box is causing soreness in the ball of my foot. I kep thinking they would breakin however my foot just keeps getting sore. I already wear wides. I?m going to have to change them they aren?t working for me.
