I have a narrow foot, and few athletic shoes fit well. I've worn New Balance, Adidas, and Nike narrows before, but these have been the most comfortable and the best fit for my 14A feet. I am especially impressed with how light these runners are. Brooks is my new favorite shoe!

Great shoe! My first shoe in narrow width and it is so much more comfortable. I have a problem and the problem is my fault. Within the last year I ordered a pair of the Beast shoes in normal width. From the start they were too wide, my feet just slipped around in them. I had other shoes to wear so I put off sending them back. My bad. So, would it be possible to return them now (I wore them only once) and trade them for a pair of the Beast in the same size 12.5 but in Narrow width? Kurt Helm

Great support and endurance. Good grip around the foot while being very comfortable.

Great for my over pronated, size 14, extra wide feet

Adding the GTS guide rails to the Addiction was a good move. This shoe is the perfect "reset" shoe for my feet. Very stable, not much rocking or rolling on footbed so the shoe is extremely restorative for my hips, ankles and knees. True, the Addiction GTS is not the running shoe that the Glycerin GTS or Adrenaline GTS are, but it is great for alternating to destress my joints. Great stability and slow movement shoe. Good for walking too.

I have wide feet, brooks fit well. I have a few pairs. Would love to see all styles in extra wide.

I'm in my late 60s and have multiple types of foot pain, including plantar fasciitis and an arthritic big toe, to name a couple. I had tried the Andrenaline GTS 23 but found it too flexible for my big toe, so I returned it and ordered the Addiction. What a great shoe for me! I walk 3-4 miles per day and this shoe is now in my rotation. It feels like it fits the contours of my soles perfectly. The guide rail system makes it a very stable shoe, which helps control pronation that I experience. The shoe does appear to be narrow, but my toes have plenty of room to move about. I took the Brooks shoe-fit quiz, indicating that I wanted a cushioned shoe. I think the Addiction's midsole is really quite firm and at first I thought it would be too firm. After wearing it for a couple of long walks, I was surprised that it did provide enough cushioning. It's so comfortable that I'm also using it as my all-day shoe. Some other shoe brands I've tried have such thick midsoles that they feel unstable wearing them to do anything but walking. Not so with the Addiction.

Very good fitting shoe. Excellent support. I wasn't expecting the shoelaces to have the pink accents. They've been replaced.
