I have worn GT's for years - this pair squeaks and they do not fit well at all. They remind me of a very cheap pair of off-brand sneakers.

I have several pairs of these shoes and had loved them. This pair has a bump in the sole apparently in the plastic mold. It hurts my foot.

Super narrow, sub par materials. Will be going back.

I have purchased numerous Asics in size 9.5 but these were smaller than usual so I will be gifting them to my daughter since I have worn them a few times. If I ordered the same shoe again I would definitely purchase a 10.

Have worn them less than 10 times and they squeak like crazy! Something from this inside. it isn't the sole, it's coming from within. It's too embarrassing to wear them anywhere. The hoops to jump through to return them are insane. Have to send a video, I tried, but then the ASICS email kicks it back. Very frustrating.

Air bubble pads popped in less than a month. Shoes now squeak every step.

I don't write reviews but felt compelled to warn others that the GT-2000 10 must have changed from previous models. Over the course of 15+ years, I have owned and ran many miles in the GT-2000 model. They always fit perfectly and for me, were the perfect neutral running shoe with just the right amount of cushion. This last pair I purchased hit high on the back of my ankle near my achilles in an odd way that was very uncomfortable. Unfortunate but they're going back and I'll have to look elsewhere for new running shoes.

The left shoe does not sit level, as pointed out by my orthopedic specialty person. It tilts inward. I wish I had known this before wearing them. I would like to return them.

Wanted to love these shoes, but they are so heavy and stiff that I won't use them for running. They feel like the Gel Cumulus 20 that I used to live in terms of shape, but the similarity stops there.

Very unhappy with the GT 2000 10. Why? 1) my big toe joint/ball of foot area hurts. This has never happened with any other GT 2000. 2) my arches ache 3) my knees hurt. 4) the cushioning is different, not as supportive, almost feels like I can feel the bottom structure of the shoe beneath the cushion 5) the heel part of the shoe is lower. I could feel it, it is uncomfortable and I confirmed with Asics that it actually was lowered. Feels odd walking and running like this 6) the material doesn't breathe as well. My feet feel hotter wearing these. May be great in cold weather but even in chilly weather, my feet felt hot. Never felt that before with Asics. 7) feel a bit wider in the ball of foot area so my foot seems to slide around more. Due to pain issues mentioned above, I haven't worn them enough for new callouses to develop but there are sore spots on my foot after wearing these. 8) I REALLY REALLLY DISLIKE THESE SHOES. And I LOVE Asics, especially the GT 2000's. I am at a point now that I have a new pair of shoes that are too uncomfortable to wear so I will be investing in yet another new pair of shoes...but I don't know which to turn to at this point. Sad the GT 2000 was changed so dramatically.

I have been wearing and running in GT-2000 since model 5, but these aren't the same. They lack stability, seem to fit narrower and longer, and the heel feels lower than the rest of the foot, where previously they almost rocked you onto your toes and made you feel like you could fly. Totally disappointing.

I've had these shoes for one week and the fabric on the inside heels is already starting to wear off. I've worn them about 4 or 5 times plus I threw out the shoe box and packaging so unfortunately I can't return them (I bought them on Amazon). It's a shame because they're comfortable and I like how they look. Really disappointing and unacceptable for a shoe at this price point-these are not cheap shoes. I bought Asics for years then switched to Hoka One One because I felt like the quality was slipping-I thought I'd give Asics another try because I like the styles better. After this experience I will not buy Asics again.

The toe box of the GT 2000s have gotten narrower. I can no longer wear these shoes so I ordered a wide to see if that would work. Nope, my heal slides out. I tried 2 other models besides the GT 2000, nope, they were also too tight in the toe box. After 20 or so years of wearing nothing but ASICS, I have turned to one your competitors for shoes. Let me know when you change the toe box back to the old dimensions.

The GT 2000 have been my go to shoes for running. However, this is one edition that I am very disappointed in. Quite a few things have been changed from the 9th edition to the 10th. To start, the shoe size runs big and there is a lot more movement inside the shoe. I tried to tighten the shoe laces to see if that would improve the fit. It did not. I could feel the material in the inside of the shoe rubbing against my foot with every step. It was like it was asking for a blister to form. In addition, there is more of a drop in the arch, with the shoe no longer fitting snug and with ever step I could feel my arch hit. I ran a total of 15minutes in the shoe and decided that I was not going to continue to subject my feet to this disappointment any longer. I returned them and got 2 more pairs of the GT 2000 9 editions, as I believe the 9's have been the best edition so far.

I bought these for 7 days at Disney World parks and I regretted it instantly. Worst foot pain I've ever experienced. I ended up buying a different brand shoe half way through the trip and felt instant relief. The "wide" width is not wide.

difference between gt t000 10 and 8 was unbelievable, same size 7 1/2 m the 10 gave me corns, bunyon type pain and arthritic pain. i have never had such a painful pair of sneakers. i thought i was having this type of pain from walking and working , but when i went back to my old asics i felt better, when i asked if there was any possibility to get a refund they said no way. i will never buy another shoe online especially from asics.
