NOT wide at all!!! My forefoot actually hung over the edge of the sole - that's never happened before with any shoe I've ever worn. I don't even have a wide foot!! I wear a standard width in most shoes however usually puchase a wide width from Asics because I prefer a roomy toebox and Asics shoes have a ridiculously narrow toebox. For reference, the kayano 27 wide width fit fine. Seems to me Asics quality and fit consistency has gone way downhill over the years.

I only wear Asics. This is the first pair of Asics that are tight on my feet in the heel, arch, and across the top of my foot.

Comfortable shoe, while they lasted!! I am a nurse and am on my feet many hours a day. The purple parts of the sole are already separating from the black parts of the sole!

Didn't have the opportunity to take them for a test run, the wrong size was sent and was told I couldn't exchange for the correct size at the same price, so DISAPPOINTED. Otherwise, I love ASIC, they work for me.

Have been wearing Asics for over 20 years. First pair that I'm not happy with. It may just be a defect, but unable to wear sneakers without my sock being eaten by the shoe. I literally have to fix my socks every minute. Something must be wrong with the padding in the heel/Achilles area. Definitely can not run with this pair.

Nice shoe Too small,too tight Sizing incorrect I ordered a size 12 which is half a size bigger than my normal size it is way too small

love the 27 but this is too cushy- need a stability shoe

I always buy asics but these are killing my feet. I walk about 25 miles a week and I am in complete pain. Not as comfortable as asics I have purchased in the past.

They are not comfortable, I'm on my feet all day and my feet hurt after work. The bed is wide and they feel durable, but just not comfortable.

This is my 5th pair of Asics Gel shoes & I've loved every pair...until now. They were huge! Too wide and long so I had to return them. Now I don't know if it was a fluke or you've changed the design that much. :(

Loved these the first day. The second day the right shoe started making a popping noise. I have worn gel Kayno for several years. I paid to much for these shoes not to be able to wear them to work. I would not recommend these.

Have been a big fan of ASICS for many years, however the rubber soles began peeling off within the first month. Disappointing. I did get an exchange after much back n forth. I'm happy now with my Nimbus..should've never strayed from the Nimbus.

It doesn't provide the arch support I need. Wish I could return them but I'm stuck with them.

No mid-foot support with inimal cushion. Shoe has been totally changed. Very disappointed!

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I've worn these shoes for 20 years and suddenly they don't fit?!

They changed the shoe (after assuring me it was just the next model) and the sizing. This shoe is now massive. Go down at least half a size or a full size. I am now stuck with shoes that are way too big because I expected them to be the same as the last 4 pairs I had and stupidly walked outside in them.

Even being wide width, these shoes are very tight. They fit tighter than a normal width shoe of another brand. Would not buy again.

These are not like other Gel-Kayanos I've had in the past. The heel is low and cushioning feels flat. :(, because I loved the old Kayanos!

I have been using the Kayano series for the past 4 years. I have small feet and have always purchased the women's size 5.5. However, the Kayano 28 just was too tight that I literally couldn't finish my shift in them. I tried them for 2 days and was never in that much pain from standing all day. I don't know what was different about this model, it just was too tight. But I was more disappointed with the refund policy since I'm out of money and can't even use these shoes. I took my business to a local running store, who gave me 2 months to decide how they work. For someone who works 10+ hours on feet, I need that since I don't want to spend money on shoes I can't wear.

Shoes not as comfortable as the tri 13does not feel as wide in the toe. My Tri 13 can wear all day, the 14 a few hours. I only use for walking not a runner
