My last two purchases were returned due to lack of fit, finish and comfort I've been a loyal customer (13 shoes) and hope my next shoe will be the quality I'm used to.

Great shoe, especially if a fan of the Kayano line. Only reason I didn't give five stars is that the soles seem to hold onto moisture if running on a damp surface. They then make a "squish" noise every step until dry..

They've changed the Gel-Kayanos. This 28 series is trash compared to older models. Sending back.

Love the shoes. I am flatfooted and Asics is the only company I know of that designs shoes for overpronation. They are extremely comfortable as I work pt. time at a big box store and am standing on cement floors for hours. This is my 3rd pair of asics. first were gt1000 and last 2 , Gel-Kayno 28"s. Love them and will keep buying.

If I had to choose just one model of Asics shoes to run it would be the Kayano series. After 145 miles logged so far, the shoes still feel as if they are fresh out of the box. They provide just the right amount of motion control, feel soft enough when landing yet maintains a good push off response. The Kayano has enough cushion for long, slow endurance runs and enough response for fast paced tempo- threshold runs.

Been running in Kayanos since the 22 and have never been disappointed. The 28 by far is my favorite.

The app is very easy to use. My sneakers are extremely light and comfortable.

Sizing an issue and blisters to start with. Not sure as good as the 27s.

I'm a fan of the Kayano line. Picked up a pair while on holiday travel about 5 years ago and had finally found the perfect sneaker, however, it appears that the last three pair that both my wife and I tried on may have us in search of a different sneaker mfg. It can't be a coincidence that we both are finding the fit to be too snug, especially around the arch area. Plenty of reviews state similar issues. Maybe there was a change in factory or QC? We are now looking around for the older series. We'll try ASICS again when the Kayano 30 series. Hopefully they correct this issue.

I love these shoes I use them for officiating basketball very comfortable

Extremely comfortable shoes. The strings seem a bit too thin, but maybe they benefit runners.

Extremely comfortable shoes. I have only gone on a few runs with them so far, but the extra cushioning and support as compared to my other pair of shoes is perfect for recovery days.

Gel kayano never disappoints. Great for walking, running, for school and a 12hr shift

Comfy, great support and great cushion for running and jumping in classes

Asics Gel Kayano 28 shoes are so comfortable and springy for my 5 mile runs that I bought this pair for my husband. They really have great arch support for aging feet. He likes them and says they are comfy, and noted the laces were good. He's not a runner but he does stay active most days. Buy your usual running size as they are not smaller or larger than my other Asics shoes.

The recent Gel Kayanos have not lived up to the reputation and performance of earlier versions, in my opinion. The "guts" of the shoe have been removed resulting in less support provided by the uppers and less durability of the soles. A "printed" design on the upper is just not the same as the multi-layer stitched Asics logo. And neither is the simplified sole composition. I have been a very loyal Gel Kayano user since the very beginning, in the early 90's because they enabled me to return to running & jogging. As a big pronator, the shoes have been a life (knee) -saver for me. I have purchased multiple pairs of every generation of Gel Kayano. I am very excited to hear that Asics is re-launching the Gel Kayano 14. I just ordered a pair and am looking forward to using them ...and comparing them to my current 3 pairs of 28's. (I split my time between Canada and the US so I double up on many high-use items. Thanks!

Not a runner but need the support and comfort of the 28. My feet feel good all day

Wish I could get a refund - been running in them for a month and they just feel off. Not much cushion, when that is what my legs need, I should have done more research. Going back to Hoka.

A little tight but breaking in OK. Should have a wide for 5 stars
