To say that 'these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn' would be an understatement.

Coming off a pair of Hokas I felt way too much instability and bounce. These ASICS Kayano 28s hit just right. They give just the perfect cushion but they offer so much more stability my feet don't hurt after a long day. These really help the over pronator and I have no medial ankle discomfort with these as I do with more neutral shoes. I love these sneakers!

Great support. Just the right cushioning and comfortable Achilles. Running in these new shoes did not the usual rubbing of a new shoe. Comfortable for day to day activities as well.

Very good running shoes, the only drawback is that it feels as if both my feet wants to slide off the platform towards the inside, other than that, Awesome.

Too narrow for a 4E, cheaply made for an ASICS shoe. Disappointed.

Took a little getting used to. I have taken a slight departure from Asics over the past few years due to chronic back issues which has prompted the search for a support shoe with the right amount of cushioning. Most either have too much or not enough. My former Asics go-to was the gt-2000, but as age would have it, I need just a little bit more "umph" under foot these days. The 28's have it. They are extremely comfortable and provide enough stability to not be overbearing. I am pretty picky when it comes to running shoes and these have performed admirably since getting my footing in them.

Excellent running shoe. Completely different from the last iteration. Wider toe box and better cushioning.

I've been wearing the Kayano's for years now and these are as good as ever. I'm an overpronator and on my feet a lot and these provide great support whether walking or running.

This is a very stable shoe with good support.
I'd also recommend:
Changed from HOKA as the new style wore out in 4 mo..much softer shoe.

New design is definitely lighter but lacks the support and stability of older models. Feels like a piece of plastic clamped to my food, but without the supportive comfortable pillowy bounce I've grown to love over the years. I use them for walking, running, training and basketball. Probably went through ten pairs of the 26, missed the 27 so can not compare. The one pair of 28's I bought had my feet and knees hurting after second use. They look nice on my shelf tho...

They are perfect, my knees or feet don't hurt anymore and if ASICS made more shoes in size 13 (2e) I'd have way more shoes. Did a 50 mile month of running in March to test myself and no pain at all.

Overall felt no flaws in either shoe. Well designed fit. Heel, support, toes, etc. Nice style. Manufacturer did a very good job.

Fit was solid, the shoes feel very well made and supportive, especially when moving side-to-side.

While I had high hopes for these shoes they aren't working for me. Due to having PT tendontis I need to use an orthotic insert, specifically the PowerStep Protect Control. This insert adds a 2mm heel post which paired with the already big heel drop (10mm) of the Kayano makes the shoe very uncomfortable. I find there is not enough space to accommodate my foot in the shoes with this insert and the increase in heel drop is very uncomfortable, putting the feel of this shoe along the same lines as Brooks. I would love to see this shoe offered in a 8mm drop with a little more inside space to allow for inserts. I use these same inserts in GT-2000 9 shoes and it works awesome.
