Thrilled with this purchased. I got these in a unique color that I haven't seen offered at third party retailers. The shoe is *very* light but somehow very sturdy as well. They scrunch my feet a bit towards the taper of my toes, but that is not really a problem. It's more of a feature and less of a bug.

These boots fit exactly how I expected. I'm in and out of a patrol car all night long and these feel just like my Hoka off duty shoes. Well done on a quality boot that handles my job and hard wear on boots.

Love the entire boot. The color, the fit, the feel, how light it is. How comfortable it is. Etc.

Like all Hoka, they are very comfortable out of the box. Even better, these are full on gore-Tex for walking my dogs in the woods. Just spray them off when I get home.

I like tha ankle support as I have abused my feet over the years! I use them for working outside in the yard and farm. No break in period needed, just put them on and go!

I made the horrible mistake of putting my foot in a HOKA Kaha 2 GTX while at a store with a friend who was there to get shoes. I got the other shoe on, bought them and just took them off 6 months later, and the only reason I did, was because i saw a pair of Anacapa Mid GTX's that were marked down nicely at the HOKA website. Now I am really twisted about this, cause every morning I have to make a decision on which pair to wear, and to keep myself from going crazy about it, i change them back and forth on some days, LoL. So HOKA had better not go out of business, or I have a huge problem on my hands, and will be even more Mad at HOKA

When tied tight, one of the metal pieces the holes the laces digs in the top of my foot when sitting or bending. Other than that, they are light weight, super comfortable and I have lots of mobility. I would love a future product almost exactly like it with a side zip feature. Other than the minor complaints they are perfect

I was skeptical at first, but now I'm glad I bought them. I would have back and knee pain every day after work, and these shoes have helped immensely.

Bought these once before and sent them back because they were extremely loud when walking. Sounded like I had empty water bottles strapped to my feet. I really liked them and in returners remorse I reordered. This pair makes no noise. Must have been a fluke the first time. Excited to add them to my outdoor arsenal.

Since this is my first Hoka shoe, my review might not be good for long time users but I love this shoe. I tried on a bunch of this brand and other hiking boot/shoes and Hokas were the best. Other brands were good but with the cushion, style, waterproof, and durability of these they seemed like the best option for me. I've put about 20 miles of hiking through mud, water and other lots of rocks and trees and these are great. I was worried about some other models having thin fabric around the toe box but these have a more durable material that I don't worry another tearing when going over rocks and trees. The only thing to note: don't tie them super tight the first time you wear them. Do it a little loose and go from there on how tight you want to wear them. True to size would've worked but I was recommended at a running store to go half size up for comfort while going downhill so my feet don't jam into the front of the shoe and that was a good recommendation.

The bone at the outside bottom of my right foot just before the ankle became inflamed, and all work boots I normally wear to do yard and other work just made the issue worse. My podiatrist told me that I had to stop wearing my usual boots for at least six months to allow the inflammation to subside. She recommended shoes/boots with soft uppers for the time being. I have owned Hoka running shoes for years, but never its boots. I ordered this boot one-half size larger than my usual size and replaced the stock insole with a custom orthodic. I have worn these boots for all outdoor activity for about three weeks now and I am amazed how comfortable they are. And though not wide, there is absolutely no pressure from the uppers on the offending bone. Being on sale may be suggestive that Hoka is discontinuing this model, so I purchased two more pairs in different colors just in case. These boots should easily last me until my foot completely heals, and well beyond. I might even hike in them.
