I've put less than 50 miles on these shoes and the bottom grip has literally shredding off like some one took a vegetable peeler to them. 0 durability which is highly disappointing.

My shoe lace broke after just a few weeks, I talked to the chat team about getting new laces all they did was just send me a li k for place to buy new laces. I explained to the rep it's extremely hard to get that exact color laces. The rep was absolutely no help at all.

I run daily and put these through 2 weeks of running and about 50 miles and the bottoms of these shoes looked like I had already run 400 miles! There were bare spots where tread should be. So disappointing.

These were my 3rd pair of Hokas. I was shocked by the overall quality of the shoes. They were sold as Black/White but looked blue. They also felt cheap (tongue is nonexistent and fabric covering the shoes feels like thin plastic) and offered little to no support. I returned them and purchased a different brand of shoes.

I have to return these after trying a couple of runs. As others have said the tongue on these shoes is too short and the shoelaces end up rubbing up on your ankles and causing blisters. If you like to have really loosely tied running shoes then they may work for you . I prefer my shoes to have a tighter tie and these shoes are not capable of that without causing bruising/blistering your ankle area.

They killed my calf muscles. I was sore for a couple of weeks after using them on a couple of runs. I don't have issues with other running shoes though, it was these shoes that caused the issue.

These shoes are cheaply made. The shoe lace holes are not reinforced well. I'm sure they will ripe apart within a month. The tongue of the shoe is also cheaply made. I ended up going back to my old brand of shoes to get a good comfort and properly made shoes. I've been wearing Hokas shoes for the past 4 years. The quality of the shoes are just not the same as they once were.

The shoes were stained out of the box with a light orange/red color. It was really off-putting and disappointing so they've been sent back to be exchanged. In regards to how they feel, I was also not impressed. I found myself switching and shifting my weight from foot to foot very often and they made my heels hurt. The heel portion feel as if my heels are in a trough, though I assume this is by design and not a manufacturing error. Maybe the shoes needed more time to be "broken into", but I was told this was not necessary. Your mileage may vary. In any case this has not been an impressive experience and can't believe my old ASICS feel more comfortable than this. For reference, I'm a medical student and have to stand long periods in surgeries during my rotation.

I wore these for three weeks to run as I am training for a 50miler. I got a stress fracture in my left foot. I've been running for 20 years and this has never happened. Super disappointed with that especially considering the price.

The firm tongue with the V shape cut is so hard that the top/dorsal surface of feet felt numb from a run. I had to return the shoes. The V shape cut is not deep enough in my opinion.

Ended up returning. The show is very narrow. Even after buying the wide, the toe box has no shape so my big toe was always rubbing on the inside of the shoe. The responsive padding didn't really impress me. Some people love this shoe but it isn't for me.

After running in this shoe for about a month, the rubber on the sole came off making the shoe unusable. Trying to reach customer service at Hoka is a joke. Hoka has really gone down hill since Decker bought them.

I've owned two pairs of older style Rincon and loved everything about them so I ordered the Rincon 3 and the soles didn't feel as cushiony and actually felt hard and the tongue was just cloth and no padding. So I returned and ordered the Clifton 8 and love them.

I decided to try these since a few others recommended them to me as I needed some shock absorbing shoes with a little more cushion. They actually fit a little lose but seemed like a good fit for me. The problem I have is I have worn these 6 maybe 7 times (< 50 miles) and the heel is already going. I was told these were a neutral shoe and even though I have supination issues these would be good for me. I do not think I would get another 50 miles out of these shoes and right now the cost per run for me is about $15 - $20. The heel material is pretty much gone even though the shoes look brand new except for the heal area. I do not think I would recommend these to someone else.

Here's what I'll say, I love Hoka. Always have and always will. Unfortunately I purchased this pair online and they just aren't what I am used to. The right shoe doesn't quite act/ feel right. I would have noticed this in the store. And the color, the red of these shoes isn't what I expected. Now that I have them and see them in person I definitely would have gone with the black/ white rather than red. I should do the return/exchange process, just haven't gotten around to it. Again love Hoka and always will. Just didn't quite work out this time.

My husband use to wear the bondi7 extra wide but they stopped making them so we tried these. The 15 extra wide were not wide enough for my husband's feet. Disappointed that hoka stopped making the bondi7 ee and that they do not provide a replacement shoe.
