This is the first pair of HOKA shoes that I've purchased. I'm an occasional runner, once or twice a week usually around 5 miles a run. I go to the gym and use an elliptical to avoid the stress on my legs from the impact of running. I've had each one operated on when I was younger, my Achilles' tendon debrided twice due to bursitis and I have a plate in my pinky toe from a stress fracture. I'm not the fastest runner but I do enjoy being outside when I am able. I have worn these two times done I have gotten them a week ago. I don't know why I didn't buy these sooner. First they are extremely light compared to all the other shoes I've worn to run (typically UA). I was pleased with the comfort factor when I first put them on but when I began to run that's when I really could see the difference from all the other shoes. When my foot contracted to pavement my entire sole hit, the shoes soles are so well balanced and wide. Then the best part was when I pushed off with each side it felt as though the shoes were propelling me forward. The bounce was something I've never felt before. Running just became so much more enjoyable now with these shoes that I just may do more of it. Thank you HOKA for making a great show and I can't wait to try other styles. Wish I hadn't waited so long.

good support and light weight just what we needed

I use this product on the treadmill and lift weights also I walk outdoors for 3 miles a day these sneakers are great and I highly recommend them

I spent 23 years active duty military, I ran countless miles in everything from combat boots to high end Nikes and these shoes are the most comfortable, balanced and lightweight runners I ever had. Just the right amount of heal cushioning and roll. My 64 year old feet and knees thank you.

At 77 years old I final found a shoe that lets me walk/jog 4 miles a day five days a week without knee and back pain.

These are my favorite shoes!! I could wear them 24/7! Worth every penny. They are my second pair and I'll no doubt be getting more.

Most comfortable shoe period

These shoes are amazing. They are lightweight yet very durable. They are also really helping with my back pain because they provide such great support. You have a customer for life!

Have only had the shoes a few weeks but they are very light, have tons of cushion and are very comfortable

I have had these shoes for just two months and have only worn them inside to run on treadmills. I love the cushioning and they are feather-light. I also particularly like the ergonomic shape of the shoes tongue. In previous shoe brands the tongue is flat where it meets the ankle and slides to the side of my foot by the end of my runs. This shoe tongue stays put! I look forward to taking these shoes for a ride outdoors on the road soon after the snow melts here in Michigan.

I run about 20 miles a week on these. They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I can't run in any other shoes without pain in my feet for days after. I buy a new pair of these every year - this year's design is better than most. I don't feel like I got stuck with the one shoe that comes in wide sizes... You know, the bulky white leather ones.
