I am 5'10", 170lb neutral runner who puts in 50-150 miles per month depending on the season (I live in Central Texas - summer running is lethal) and ambition (maintenance vs race training). I ran through 3 pairs of the original Rincon and 2 pairs of the Rincon 2s. I currently have 3 pairs of the the Rincon 3's and they are THE BEST OVERALL version of the shoe. The original Rincons were amazingly comfortable for 150 miles or so. They didn't dramatically change the outsole or midsole for the Rincon 2s but I found the upper/breathability, tongue and lockdown of the Rincon 2 to be an upgrade over the originals but the durability issues persisted (MAYBE a little closer to 200 with the midsole - they seemed to last a little longer). However, the changes they made to the outsole (increased durability in the heel and forefoot area) and the midsole (seems slightly stiffer but in a good way - looking to get 300 or so out of the Rincon 3s) while DECREASING weight is a game changer. Some have pointed to the changes in the tongue but even during my longer runs to this point (6-10 miles) they have not seemed to cause any problems (shifted, rubbed, etc). They remain super breathable and the outsole seems to be more durable and "grippy". I am incredibly happy with these shoes and hope that HOKA doesn't overthink this shoe to much (like they did with the Speedgoat and others) or overprice it. At the current price, I am not sure there is a better ROI on the market, regardless of brand.

Great for walking and running but mostly walking

Comfortable to the max. We'll built to last.

I use the shoes at work, to jog, and train. They are very comfortable and my feet don't hurt. I work 12hrs shifts, these shoes just excel at comfort.

Best ever Love my Hoka's please make More color varieties and prints in wide!!!!! Hoka is truly the only shoe I wear. I own 22 pair give me more variety prints and colors in WIDE.

I use this product everytime I workout or run.

I'm an experienced runner who needs a bit more cushion these days. Rincon 3 provided that and more. Feeling is plush yet responsive, and feel very light on the feet. Only area of improvement to me is the tongue construction, in that it can be tough to keep centered despite a split-fork design that seems to be intended to wrap around the tendon connecting your shin to foot...instead it is sort of off-center for me and tougher to pull up and adjust. I had purchased a size 11 originally, and am a size 11 in every other shoe I've worn since high school, but the toe box was massive and my foot slipped. I sized down to a 10.5 and now feels incredible.

I did blister a bit but this shoe is the best combination of stability and light weight I've ever come across. Awesome design too !

I really enjoy this product. It feels comfortable and light on my feet. I've been about to increase my runs to 3-5 miles more daily. And this shoe doesn't quit.

I wear my Hokas for walking, running and in the gym

My boyfriend uses them at the gym and it's a topic of conversation at the gym and the sauna. He likes to tell me everytime we leave how many people he recommends to go online and get a pair. Waiting for him to now get me my pair

I love these Rincn 3's with one exception! The tongue's are too short! These shoes are comfy and supportive, they've replaced my other (competition brand).

Comfortable shoe that I can wear all day and walk many miles with.

Like walking on air

I wanted to a pair of shoes that were comfortable for walking around (a lot) during a recent vacation. I did a lot of research and decided based on reviews and using the HOKA selection tool that the RINCON 3 should do the trick. I was pleasantly surprised that they were exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight, durable, comfortable and aesthetically nice. I'm not a runner so I can't speak to that but for walking around city streets with undulations these are great.

Very comfortable and breathes well. Looking forward to putting the Rincon's to the test.
