It was the first time I acquired a Hoka product and I confess I was skeptical at first. I bought it as a gift to my husband for father's day and he simply loved it!! He couldn't stop talking about how comfortable they are and how much better than his prior ASICS or Nike shoes. Definitely recommend!

I had been suffering from plantar fasciitis for 8 months. My brother recommended these Hoka shoes (I had never heard of them). From the first time I put them on, the pain was GONE! I can walk 12k steps, per day, without any foot pain. I am truly thankful!

The best shoes I've worn EVER. I have had multiple back surgeries. I have looked for the most comfortable shoes ever since. I landed upon these after seeing someone wearing a pair. I thought that they looked rather comfy and stable. I was correct.

I have normal width feet. I have quite high insteps, but my real issue is that my right foot is about 1/4 size larger than the left. A wide shoe tends to solve this differential size problem, and it did perfectly here. I recently bought a pair of Mach 4s in D width. I called The fit of these "performance snug" in my review. They very slightly activate the 2nd toe on my long right foot, but these wide Cliftons solve that issue almost entirely.
If you are buying (any of?) these shoes for performance, and have a normal width foot, I'd get the regular D width. They should give you proper lateral support with minimal if any negative space. If you are buying them for everyday comfort use, I'd suggest the wide version. They are nice and roomy in the forefoot, without being sloppy at all, anywhere.
I'm on my feet all day, on a cement floor, walking as many miles as I care to. I DON'T CARE TO! These shoes are a godsend, and have made it possible for me to continue in this job.

I require a shoe with stability (neutral gait) and cushion. These are the most comfortable shoes while providing some support. I have worn them 16-18 hours a day and done better than most any others I have tried. So pleased.

I began training for a marathon this year and was using old sneakers way beyond expiration. Once I started using my Hoka Cliftons, my runs became so much more enjoyable and my entire body feels more prepared to take on more miles. I also was more than excited to buy vegan running shoes.

Seriously one of the best shoes ever made. Great quality and they last, which is good because at these prices they need to. Excellent support for those suffering as I do with Plantar Fasciitis. Highly recommend.
