I’d heard great reviews from friends who wore Hokas and now I see why. Very comfortable shoes with no brake-in period. Feels like I’m walking on cushions with good arch support.

The Clifton 8 are available in wide and the sole has a real nice cushion with no seams that rub my feet so they're great for my walking regimen

I have been dealing with Plantar Fascitis and read on the internet that these shoes were helpful with it. I purchased some Clifton 8's and I really like them. They are like walking on foam, yet still easy to maneuver in. It took about five times wearing them before the toe box stretched out to where it feels roomy. I like wearing them more than any other of my shoes. In fact, I'm currently shopping for a pair to wear to work.

This is my second pair of Cliftons and I really like these shoes. I have wide and pretty flat feet so most shoes hurt my feet. These felt like I was running on clouds from day 1. I used them right out of box for a long run and they were great.

I ran a half marathon in the Clifton 7's and then came back for the Clifton 8's when I needed a new pair. These are great for long distance running and neighborhood walks. As with the 7, I remain happy to find a non-minimalist pair of running shoes with a low-ish heel toe drop (5mm vs. 12 mm for pretty much everything Brooks sells). I have a wide forefoot and the Wide size fits great.
My only complaint is that they feel just a touch longer than the same size in the Clifton 7's which I though fit just perfect.
