I am going to use these shoes for walking and everyday use. I need support and comfort and I believe these will do the job. To be honest, I never heard of HOKA till I was getting a haircut and my barber bought a pair and was amazed. There was another customer in the shop and was saying the same thing about them. That convinced me and the rest is history.

My DPM recommended the Hoka's, my research for best walkers lead me to Clifton 8's. Superb shoe, great support, walking long distances no longer a problem. Well made, good looking, will buy again.

Would buy again love the Clifton's.

Great shoe for walking all day, roomy toe box, lots of cushion might be the best shoe I've ever purchased

This is a great hiking shoe, which is exactly what I got it for. I would not use these for running though, they are really heavy and wide looking, but narrow feeling. Most shoes like this I use inserts in, if you have ever ran in a super shoe, you will say the sole is rock hard, which is how most shoes are. But, for hiking I would recommend.

Size 16 medium. Must admit my first time out with these shoes, I didn't wear socks. I could feel the insert on the edge of my arch, but no irritation. . But when I wore them the next day, with socks, they formed to my feet, and became extremely comfortable. I love the feel, I love the color.

I have been suffering in excruciating pain with plantars fasciitis in the foot. Until I Purchase, my new Hoka's I haven't felt relief like I do now!! Unbelievable light and comfortable!!

I'm not a "runner" but do about 20 miles a week of "run/walk" on mixed trails. The Clifton is supportive in the toe box, supportive of lateral movement and heal, light on the feet and "springy" with return energy off each step.

I like the color combination alot

Been wearing Brooks for the past 6 years and after this pair of Hokas, I probably will be looking into these shoes in the future. Great for everyday shoe and runs on the treadmill.

I recently bought a pair of Clifton 8 shoes from Hoka. I wanted to use it for running. I usually run on paved trails and continued running has impacted my knees. This is my first Hoka and I was pleasantly surprised by it. It is very cushioned, and after a run (around 5 miles every time I run) I found the impact on my knees were much less. My legs feel much better after the runs. Not that I improved my speed much, but the relief on my knees is significant. I have so far done 4 running trips on this and it has held up quite well. Let me see how long it lasts. So far, I am happy with it.
