Pros: Fits true to size. Very comfortable. Midsole is a little firmer than traditional Bondi (which is a plus for me). I normally train in Cliftons because the Bondi is too sluggish, but the bump in firmness and a little extra snap of the Bondi X makes up for it. You get the plush ride without as much drag as the traditional Bondi. Cons: Cost. The small "X" in the outsole that attracts gravel.

Broke my back a few years ago and have had faciitis off and on. This is the first pair of shoes that NOTICEABLY have reduced back pain after a jog compared to my other shoes. 10/10, now on my third pair of hokas and can't wait to buy more.

Can't say enough about these pair of shoes. I ran a 50k in 'em this past Saturday (03/19/2022) and had minimal soreness on my feet (other than swelling/bump on my left forefoot but I blame that on my socks of choice). Once Hoka releases some new colors I most definitely plan on buying again. *Of note, I usually wear 11.5 wide but tried a 12 regular this time around and had no issues*

I have run in the Bondi since 2013 principally due to the cushioning. I was interested in the new Bondi X due to the carbon plate. I have used them for two months and am very happy. I can really feel a push off from the carbon plate and have not felt any aches or pains. I do find the heal is wearing fast. I am 156 pounds and after 96 miles I am using shoe goo on the heals. The only other issue is the open space on the sole picks up small rocks

Been wearing the Bondi X for marathon to 5k distances. Very cushy yet fast and responsive for races. Comfortable toe box and no issues with size and feel. I've tried Clifton and Rincon and these surpass them.

I bought the Bondi X as a my long run trainer for the Boston Marathon and couldn't be happier. Based on other reviews I was worried about the tongue but have actually not had any issue with it, would I like it to be a hair longer yeah, does it matter no. The Bondi X has proven to be an amazing long run shoe providing awesome cushion and comfort and I've also found it easy to pick up the pace a little when I want to. The cushioning is soft but the show is definitely more responsive than the Bondi and doesn't have the sinking soft feeling I hate in the Clifton. My favorite Hoka since the Vanquish 2 which still stands as my top Hoka ever. I've got 250 miles on them and feels like I'll easily get 250 more, they really aren't breaking down at all. My one major complaint is the X on the outsole, I know it's Hoka's signature on their carbon fiber shoes but it just collects rocks, which is super annoying, Got back from my long run today and had 8 rocks and some road salt lodged in the X, it's just dumb to put big holes in the outsole right in the midfoot, luckily the Carbon plate doubles as a rock plate so you don't feel it your just sound like you're wearing tap shoes.

I have had several pairs of Bondi shoes. These are best yet. However, tongue is too short and this should be corrected in future versions

Have been on 2 runs both over 10 miles and love the shoes. The extra padding did take a little getting used to...plus these effected different muscles than the Bondi 6. Great shoe and well worth the price for me!

I had to wait about a week to receive them in Florida, but the time was worth it. Great shoes, very comfortable, what I needed for my knees.

Bondi X is a marvel engineering project with all components in perfect balance. From shoelace, shoe tongue, carbon spring power, and the famous EVA midsole &Meta-Rocker, I feel that the Bondi X is the best road shoe I have ever had in my 25 years of disciplined 60K/month. I was able to shave a full 2:30 from my 10K PR in the first run. I found the Bondi X to be a motivator and a friend to push farther as I get older.

I love Hokas for their cushioning and these don't disappoint. The plate offers good push-off without feeling too stiff or making my feet work too hard.
