Comfortable shoes don't get me wrong. But the padding was too much. It was hurting my calf and shins bad. If you need a lot of padding these are for you

Disappointed in the way the shoe fits. The inside cuts into the arch of my foot and is a bit uncomfortable, not a good fit for flat feet.

Beautiful shoe but really lacks cushion in the heel causing severe heel pain and ankle pain. Otherwise I get complements all day long on how they look. Only used for walking. I'm a nurse who works 12 hour shifts. Avg 10k steps a day.

My wife has been a huge fan of the Rincon 2 since we found it. She has several issues that would cause her pain when exercising if not for a good sneaker. When her latest pair of 2s was past usable we figured we would give the 3 a try. Unfortunately, it just doesn't seem to be as a good of a shoe. Construction seems inferior to the 2. It seems as if anywhere they could make something thinner they did regardless of how it effected the overall function of the shoe. Even something as simple as the strap (now a string) to pull on the shoe has become "less" in our eyes. I won't be buying or recommending them anymore. Luckily we found a retailer on the web that still had some of the 2s in stock.

I had heard these shoes were going to be so comfortable for walking.... NOT for me! It may have felt a little better if the sole had more cushion inside. Didn't seem to have enough for more liking.

The tongue folds up when I put them on. The back folds down. Just like the others I bought better.

Second pair of these, this time for my fiance. You would think for the cost that the pieces or rubber would still longer. I will be looking at other brands after this.

My feet aren't really that narrow, but I found these to be too wide. The fit overall just leaves a lot of space around my foot.

I wanted to love these shoes however the fit was wrong. The left shoe fit perfectly but the right felt narrow in the toe bed and hurt my toes.

Really sad that this shoe is inferior to Rincon 2. I loved the rincon 2, I run everyday and felt well supported in the rincon 2. The rincon 3 doesn't offer the same support and the material is cheaper. The Instep tore where the fabric meets the sole on 2 pairs of Rincon 3 so I've had to try a different shoe. In favor of Rincon 2 coming back!

Writing my first review on Hokas since wearing them for the past 6 years and standing by them as the perfect shoe brand. Although, they are great for my Plantar Fasciitis, this style, The Rincon 3, is not one of them.
Cons: It's hard to describe, but, there was no "cloud-like" feeling like I typically feel for the first several weeks after my new pair of Hokas (Bondi 7, 8, & Clifton 8). There was almost immediate pain in my feet - which is the opposite of what you should feel after new shoes! I also didn't love the super thin tongue that easily got scrunched up within the shoe.
Pros: Thankful for *some* cool colors in the Wide fit (as oppose to being left with just black or white options). I am a 9.5 W in Women's and the fit was great.
Overall, super disappointed. :( Will be returning.

Bought two pairs of Hoka. Recon 3's. lots of pain in front of feet and back of the heel. Wish I can return them but the website is not giving me the option to do so.

The tongue of the shoe is too thin; it doesn't offer cushioning from the laces if you wear your shoes snuggly.

I loved the Rincon 2 shoe and have a few older pairs. I ordered the new shoe and am sending it back. It now seems like they are trying to save $ by cutting back on the features that I loved. The tongue is like a piece of paper and too short. I loved the more padded tongue. The pull on strip on the back of the shoe is now a thread. The lining is not the same. The shoe feels cheaper and not the same quality as before. What a shame to change a good thing. This happened to Sperrytopsiders, use to love the old cotton shoe and you could not get me to buy a pair now. Keep a good thing when you have it!

I bought these style with the intention of using them on my daily power walks. Unfortunately, they are uncomfortable due to lack of arch support. Additionally, they hurt in the heel area. I will keep them because they are very light weight but will need to purchase additional in-sole support. Disappointing as they are an expensive shoe

My Bondi 7 had great width and support/cushion. Rincon 3 not enough cushion, especially at the ball of the foot area, this caused pain in the ball of my feet and I had to return them. I exchanged for Bondi 8 which compared to the Bondi 7 feel narrower across the tongue area with less cushion at the ball of the foot but better than the Rincon 3. I would not recommend the Rincon 3 not enough cushion or support. Disappointed

I bought my shoes based on trying on a friends Hokas. I loved how soft and cushioned they felt. It was like a cloud. The pair I purchased don't have the same fit or feeling. My feet actually hurt the morning. I'm sad they aren't what I expected, as I love the colors.

I saw several nurses/doctors wearing them, so I thought they would be amazing. Not so much. Especially for the price, very disappointing. I've had cheaper and more comfortable shoes.

Just not the same high quality product as prior editions. The tongue is definitely cheaper quality and the shoe is not as comfortable. Disappointed with higher price and cheaper quality. Think twice before investing.
