The shoe twists pushing the front of my foot to the outer edge and back of foot to the inner edge. Even the fabric twists. The sizing is just weird. I've tried everything to fix this. I'm a super fan of the Cliftons (several pair of 7s). Love the color but the design is disappointing.

I believe that the last ( size of shoe) has changed as the 5 s I have are fine and the new sneakers are a full size bigger fitting. If there is a 5 in any model that runs short I was unable to get that information from customer service.

I was completely disappointed with the product. Same day I received them I went on a trip. 10 minutes into wearing them my feet were already aching. Perhaps it was the fact that I was at work all day and my feet needed rest. Next day, assuming I need to break them in I utilized them for a couple of hours to my terrible surprise my feet were even more busted from the day before. I gave them a break assuming I was to hard on them. On my way home the poor pair couldn't withstand the Airport entry nor the return home. To my disappointment, I was ready to return them but unfortunately I deleted the email with the return info to my junk box. Currently sitting in my closet collecting dust to be utilize for no more than 10 minutes before my poor feet start crying.

To narrow in toes and slips off ankles. Hardly any arch support and no cushion on feet.

I'm a nurse - on my feet for 12 hours straight. My feet hurt so bad after wearing these, I couldn't walk for 2 days afterwards!

Sizing is huge!

I bought these pairs mainly for walking, but after a few days of wearing I noticed pain in my lower back. The pain would immediately come after I put it on. So, I had to return it.

I must have gotten a faulty pair. I've had two pair of Clifton 7 and I LOVED them. I literally wore them everyday until I wore them out. I recommended them to everyone. I stand on my feet all day for work and they were perfect. However I could no longer find the Clifton 7 in my size so I tried the 8s. Either I got a bad pair or they're made differently from the 7s because they pinch my toes. That's a problem I've never had before and it's so disappointing!

I purchased my first pair in a local small store and they felt too snug but the clerk encouraged me to try them but after a week they were still too snug. Unfortunately, at that point I had to pay to send them back into Hoka to get an exchange for a larger size but could only go up a whole size not a half and now they are too big. I don't want to pay to have to ship them back again.

I have used Hokas for years now, and it helped me through my first bout with Plantar Fasciitis. I have consistently ordered each new modification as it became available. However, I am not sure what was changed with this new variation (Clifton 8) but it has caused me so much foot pain. It has aggravated Plantar Fasciitis in my other foot and caused an ankle pain in my right foot. Not going to wear them!!!

Would like to try again but for the amount of money I don't think I could

I'm sorry but this shoe is not what it's hyped to be. Cause pain in my calves when walking

I really wanted these shoes to work for me; but unfortunately they hurt my feet. I wanted shoes with a lot of cushion for being on my feet all day in the clinic. I don't think these are bad shoes, just not the ones for me.

I am a triathlete and have been wearing Hoka running shoes for several years now and am very disappointed with the current Clifton 8. I wore them for 4 hours and my feet are killing me-never had this issue before. There are changes from the 7 that feel obvious and my feet are telling me that. The tongue is shorter and sewed in for one and there is decreased number of eyelets which make the feel off. I am sure there are more changes that I cannot see or pinpoint. I will be returning these and switching brands until the next Clifton comes out and I can see if they improved the shoe.

I have been a runner and walker all my life and have never struggled with blisters. These Hokas give me severe blisters anytime I run or walk anything over 3 or 4 miles. Not sure if the fit is off or if they are manufactured with pressure points. Not working for me at all.

Have loved hoka shoes until i tried the cliftons, after wearing them about 2 weeks the right shoe got very uncomfortable, especially after wearing 12 hr shift, i am a nurse and thought i wouls try them! Was very disappointed in this shoe. Sent them back sadly

I did not like the feel of it. I own two clifton 6 shoes and was disappointed in that they sent me clifton 8. i returned the shoes immediately.

My podiatrist recommended this brand due to an issue I was having with my heel. I was very excited when I received them but once wearing them for two days and going on two long walks I just could not get use to them. I'm a size 7 and ordered that but the show was just a little too big. I walk several miles on a daily basis and my knees bothered me really bad when wearing the sneakers and my feet just hurt. Once I switched back to my normal brand I wear I did not have any of those issues. I really tried to break them in and get used to them but by the third day I just couldn't do it. Sadly I sent them back.

I got them for walking and it rubbed blisters everywhere

I know this is a great running shoe. My husband runs marathon with it and he loves it however I am trying hard to adapt myself to it but my feet hurt it is very uncomfortable even to walk. I am not using mine with a deep sad heart but I keep having Adidas ultraboost as the most comfortable one for my feet

I've been running and walking in Hokas for the past five years. I've preached to friends and family about how wonderful they are and have spent hundreds of dollars over the years on Clifton's. These are the first Hokas that have me absolutely terrible blisters and searing knee pain, almost from day one. Cliftons used to be my all time favorite, but I will not be wearing or buying them again. I don't understand why they keep changing the shoe designs because these are absolutely awful.

I am a huge fan of Hokas and was excited to see the Clifton colors. Unfortunately the Clifton is narrower than the Bondi 7 so I made the exchange. I love the Bondi 7's EXCEPT they only come in dull colors. I alternate gray then blue and back to gray while my running mates have pinks, yellow, and a variety of bright colors I wear women's 9 wides which may be the reason for limited selections. Thinks about adding a little spice to our footwear.
