It wasn't the most durable and after a few uses they already feel off.

There really no different that any other shoe. Not impressed at all

The back of the shoe rips within 3 to 5 months after purchase. When buying another pair of shoe the sneaker store states it's the most returned shoe we've ever sold

I have to say, I do wish these had worked out. They felt like they would be so comfortable but my arches are high and these, unfortunately, were just not able to provide the kind of support my feet needed.

I have other HOKAand these feel too big and not as supportive. I wish I could have exchanged them but I worn them a few times.

These shoes have a hard side and hurt my arch. I've tried getting a wide but have the same issue. I also tried a heel lift but I can still feel the hard side jabbing into my arch. I wanted to like these shoes but they are just too uncomfortable.

I'm not a fan of these shoes. They are not comfortable to work in for long periods of time. I work at a hospital and not impressed with the arch support. My secretary recommended these to me, but she isn't on her feet as much as I am. Very disappointed!

I'm a nurse on my feet for 12+ hours and after giving these shoes time to be broken in they still hurt my feet a few hours into my shift.

It wasn't comfy at all I bought one and it feels like there was some thing in meddle of left and I exchanged it had same problem

These shoes feel like cardboard. I have had several pairs of Hoka's but I do not like the Clifton. They are stiff and do not have enough cushion for me. They will be alright to wear for casual wear but not for walking or working in.

My husband love HOKa shoes and i thought i would give them a try. The first impression was wow its like a cloud. After that though, terrible pain. Couldn't walk stand without causing pain. My back, knees I tried wear them in the house for several times. Had to return them. Very disappointed

This shoe was being talked about all over social media, as the best shoe ever. The pair I received was very disappointing. First of all, there were frayed threads and frayed fabric. The arch support felt like a huge rock under my arch, not a comfortable, supportive arch. I just felt the hype about this shoe is misleading or maybe I received a default pair

Arch support hits at an odd spot. It hits short of the arch and rubs the middle creating a blister. Wore sports socks and it still rubbed thru. Aftet all the hype and rave reviews I really wanted to love these. Will go back to my Ons and New balance

I had really high hopes for Hokas since they have been trending on social media for some time now. They made my feet callus on the bottoms and sides and I had plenty of room in them at my normal size (8). This has never happened with shoes before. My feet were in so much pain after a five-mile walk that I could barely walk the next day. I wish these were better. The only positive about Hoka that I have is their customer service and return policy.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I had high hopes for this shoe and was so excited to get them due to the reviews. However, the arch support on this shoe is so hard it pushes against your foot and left me marks. That's even though I ordered wide. This was the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever worn and caused pain on my foot.

I am a big fan of Hoka. Sometimes that's the only shoe that can support my feet. However, the sole digs so hard into my arches. I was so disappointed. They are really pretty color and I want it in the work but alas these aren't it. I was previously in a Clifton seven. I have now bought a pair of Gaviotas and I'm much happier.

First mile great, 2nd mile could barely walk. Blisters on my heels and rubbing on my arches from how crazy high the shoes' arches are. I see that other people for whom the arches on these were too high did better with other models but I don't want to take another rush so I just bought new adidas of the same kind I had before. Bummer.

Love them but the Wide is to narrow. I wear NB and wide is perfect.

I have been wearing Hokas for 9 years since diagnosis of Achilles tendinitis to address probation and high arch. My previous pair were Arahi 5 but I originally had Clifton 4. These Clifton 8s are terrible for me, they don't have good arch support and if I run more than two miles they rub the side of my foot (by the big toe) really badly. I made the mistake of wearing them for 6 miles and the last 3 were extremely painful. I have never experienced this with Hokas so I think these are more narrow. Very disappointed in these!

I ordered size based on other reviews, and while I usually get regular width in non-athletic shoes, I like to have a wide in tennis shoes. I wore these on a quick walk with my dog and was excited to get back home so I could take them off. Just not comfortable and also not wide. This was my first pair of Hokas and am dissapointed in the product I received based on the hype around these shoes and the price.

Footbed is too stiff, and causes pressure after a short period ofwear. Uncomfortable enough to make it necessary to remove both shoes.

I will never buy shoes from the company again, the shoes didn't work out and the return process is horrible.

I purchased the Clifton 9 at a local shoe store a few weeks ago. My foot was measured digitally, and my perfect size in the Clifton 9 is a Women's size 10 Wide. The Clifton 9's fit and feel great while walking. I went to your website and saw the Clifton 8 was on sale. So I ordered my perfect size 10 Wide and received the shoes by UPS in a few days (and was charged $10 shipping -- I thought shipping was free!). As soon as I saw the Clifton 8 shoes, I thought they looked small. They looked visibly shorter and narrower than the Clifton 9. Putting the shoes on was a struggle because they were too narrow, tight, and stiff. They were very tight across the top of my foot, even with the laces open. I kept checking the size thinking you sent the wrong size but it was a 10 Wide. Returning was easy -- printed a label and dropped off at the Post Office. The return shipping was free but I still paid $10 shipping to me. I received a refund for the shoes, but not the $10. Overall, a disappointing experience. I spent $10 trying on a pair of tight shoes. This is the first and last time I'm ordering shoes on-line.
