This is my 7th pair of Hoka's. I normally love them and they are the only shoes I will buy. But the last pair before this, the bottoms wore off in record time. I am an average walker. I don't walk/run a ton, a few days a week maybe. The bottoms just word down in a hurry. The new pair for this review that I bought because of the quickly wearing bottoms of the old ones have been tossed to the side because I threw the box away and could not return them. I wore them maybe three times. The third time of running on the tread mill the shoe felt "dead". Like there was no support. The first day of wearing they were fine but did leave a blister. Never had Hoka's do that to me however. I cannot use the shoes for any kind of workout. Wearing to the store or around the house but definitely not for what I bought them for. Like I said, I would have returned but I tossed the box because I've always had great luck with my Hokas. These were not remotely worth my hard earned money. Like I said, normally LOVE them and have several pairs to pick from. They were my go to. But this round has me questioning if I will spend my money again on them. Sorry.... Hate leaving bad reviews and have never had to but this shoe was a negative for me.

I have the Clifton 6 and 7 in wide and absolutely love them! So naturally I got Clifton 8 in wide. The inner and outer part of my middle foot had absolutely excruciating pain. It seems the middle part of the shoe is way more narrow than expected. I will be returning them.

I bought a pair of Clifton 8 in size 8 wide womens. I wore them out and bought another pair in same size, but different color. The right shoe is not a wide. It is much tighter then the left. And, my 1st pair of Clifton 8 were plenty wide on both feet. My feet have not change. I believe its a defect in the right shoe. The right shoe really hurt my foot. It is marked "wide" but it clearly is not.

I can't remember only that it was a month ago. The reason I can't remember because I regret buying the balanced pair instead of the fluffy pair. I tried on my current pair and not nearly enough comfort. I realized then I needed fluffy instead.

Left shoe was good. Right shoe felt skewered and looks off center. The quality control was not good.

Broke my ankle running these shoes. But I still love them. The tread seems to pull off easily.

The shoe was quite comfortable, but a hole above one toe quickly appeared in one shoe's exterior fabric material. If Hoka sells a shoe with a stronger exterior fabric material that wouldn't fail so quickly, I would consider another purchase. Otherwise, my days with Hoka shoes haves ended.

I have not been lucky with the Hoka shoes. My heal and plantar fascia feel very uncomfortable in the 2 different hoka styles I’ve order, even painful if I use them the whole day. I think I’m going to try another type of running shoes.

I have been purchasing a pair of Cliftons every 6 months beginning with the Clifton 5. Each year, the changes seemed centered around providing better stability, less rubbing at the Achilles, and making it lighter weight. The Clifton 6 and to some extent, the 7, made improvements in those areas. However, with the 8, the shoe has now become way too wide, and the cushioning in the back has become way too prominent. In my option, Hoka should back up a bit and go back to more of the design of the 6/7. Otherwise, this will sadly be my last pair of Hokas.

I bought a 7.5 wide. For some reason, it squeaks every time I take a step. As a nurse, that gets very annoying and distracting esp because I'm on my feet 24/7. For the price I paid, it shouldn't be squeaking. Sigh.

I hate these shoes! I may be the only voice in the wilderness saying it but they are wickedly uncomfortable! The sole is rock hard and if you have sensitive feet, it’s like walking barefoot on a road. Seriously. The only good things about this shoe are the meta rocker and the low heel to toe drop. They also run narrow. I had to order a wide, never did that ever, to get enough toe room and then the ankle support is Not there. For reference I have very low arches, flexible feet and a bunion. Other shoe companies that make better quality shoes should take note of the pluses: meta rocker and low heel to toe drop. Put some actual cushioning on the shoe, not just a slab of rock. And improve the fit and finish of the shoe. The upper of this shoe looks like a cheap Walmart shoe. Some cushioning or padding to make the upper less scratchy. I hope this helps someone else in their decision making.

I purchased this shoe at the end of October at my local HOKA dealer. Since then I had to have the inner soles changed out 3 times. The first and second time it was because they squeaked so much. The third time the innersole is so thin I feel as tho I am not getting the correct amount of support and my right foot is hurting. The salesperson was courteous and did try to help. Paid a decent amount of money and now I can't wear them. I will not be back

I ordered a medium width because, even though I don’t have narrow feet, I have never needed to order a wide. But these shoes are very narrow. I’ll be sending them back. Hope I can get something in a wide that fits. I’ve heard only good things about Hoka. (I have a pair of the One One flip flops and they fit fine- plenty wide enough).

The arch wasn't supportive enough and gave me pains while running. The shoes were also too big as I ordered my true size and my toes hit the top.

I purchased a size 8-1/2 medium at a sporting goods store. They were not quite wide enough. So I ordered another pair directly from Hoka size 8-1/2 wide. There was no difference in the widths. Needless to say after $260. I'm a little frustrated.

After about one month of wearing the sneakers they make a horrible squeaking noise. I’ve worn the Hoka Clifton shoes before but never had an issue. I’m not sure if maybe I have a defective pair but the noise makes them almost unwearable.

I ordered my pair online to get the color I wanted. Didn't feel like the same Cliftons I tried on in a store. I heard that Hoka quality might have gone down to rush these shoes out and it feels like it. Also had dark marks on them that I thought were odd at first but thought were part of some weird design but turns out they weren't supposed to be there. These are the first shoes I bought just for arch support and my first hoka shoes so these issues just flew past me and it's too late to return them now. They're still comfortable, but comfort isn't the only thing I wanted when I shelled out for these.

Bought the D width. They are narrower than the 7s. The length feels right and these feel snappier than the 7s, but the outer ball of my foot is getting chewed up where the insert meets the shoe.

They were very light and no arch support. They actually hurt my feet as soon as I put them in. I’ll stick with the hooka one one.
