This was my first trial of Hoka, in my usual running shoe size and regular width. However, it felt much too tight and I had to return it.

After asking several people wearing this brand, I decided to bite the bullet and spend the money on a pair. They look nice but absolutely kill my feet. I thought maybe I needed to just "break them in". No such luck. By the end of the day, my feet hurt so bad! I wore a pair of old tennis shoes yesterday and no foot pain. I'm sure they are great for most people, but they do not work for me (or my feet).
Painful I,

I love the look and style of the shoe. They are true to size however immediately when I started wearing the shoes the right one would squeak after a few minutes of wearing them no matter the surface. I have another friend who has this issue as well. The squeak is so bad that it causes my gait to change to try to soften the squeak which causes back pain. The inside heel has also started to wear 3 months after use.

What happened? Why did you mess around with the sizing when you introduced all of the new colors? I've been wearing the Clifton 8 wide for a while now- have replaced them like 5-6 times because I'm a regular runner and was excited to see all of the new colors available in wide width.....but they're cut differently. I tried two different colors and same story with both.Too tight across ball of foot aggravating metatarsalgia and rendering them unwearable......in case this happened to anyone else, I've since tried on the mens wide and it seems good, but I shouldn't have had to resort to this. I'm not understanding at all why you'd make a wide shoe narrow.

I wanted to love these! I've heard so many great things and I was so excited to try them! I love the color and the initial feel was great. They have good support, however, I feel like I'm wearing my shoe on the wrong foot. My left foot is constantly right on the outside edge of the shoe and it is so uncomfortable. I find myself constantly pushing my foot inward trying to make it feel better. Plus my knee is aching like crazy, which is always my indicator for new shoes.

The shoe is soft if that's what you're looking for. But this version feels different than the one I bought last year. My toes have too much room and rub against the stitching in the forefoot.

I have worn these on 5-6 walks over the last 2 weeks and I am not impressed. I'd return if I could but I've already worn them outside. I'm not impressed. They seemed like they would be more comfortable then they have been. So expensive for the lack of cushion and what these shoes are advertised as. Looking deeper into reviews I'm seeing people have stated the older ones were much better. I won't be buying these again.

I got fitted at a store and ordered online. I walk 1-3mi daily and I tried these for over 3 weeks and my big toe hurt and I got blisters on a toe. The sides of my feet hurt when wearing them. Wish they worked but sadly they are being returned.

These shoes felt amazing when I first tried them on ... but when I wore them around the house for a "test drive," I quickly found that what felt great on my foot caused strain on my lower back. I read that this is often the case with shoes with a lot of bounce or cushion; unfortunately, I'll be returning them for that reason. I highly recommend this shoe for anyone with foot pain, plantar fasciitis, etc. -- but if you have any lower back issues, this may not be the best option. (New Balance 880s work well for me.)

Too large and too wide. Not at all attractive for the money. Sole felt well cushioned but that's only 1 out of 3.

The shoes fit well until I stand up - the cushioning is super rough on the inside and it rubs my instep. I need to return them. I'm very disappointed.

This is my 5th Hoka Purchase. I had been happy with .my previous purchases of Hoka, especially the Bondi 6 and 7. Because of my great experience in Bondi 7, I did not have a second thought in ordering the Bondi 8. Hoever, I got blisters on the inner side of my foot. I ordered 8 Wide. I can't understand why tbey made the opening so narrow that it squeezed my feet, to the point that it almost folded my feet. Loosening the lace to the maximum did not help, because the mould itself is the one that's odd
Imagine wude on toes and narrow on the opening. I am returning this pair of Hoka Bondi 8. Maybe, it's time to shift to another brand.

While the product did help the plantar fasciitis in my right foot, it caused instep pain in my left foot and extreme foot fatigue. I would not recommend .

I was very excited about these shoes! Unfortunately, after wearing them for a few weeks they began to rub at the back of my heels. Seem to just wear out super quick

I wanted to love this shoe. I normally wear New Balance 9 1/2 wide. This shoe in wide was so narrow. It was long enough but pinched the sides of my feet. Loved the color though. Bake to tried and true New Balance.

I have never had this experience with Hokas but the shoe is already coming apart at the seem on the side. I've only had the shoe for 2 weeks. Hokas are typically very good shoes so this is hopefully a rare occasion.

I tried on so many Hoka styles due to my wide forefoot. All except the Bondi SRs were almost laughable when it comes to the width of the toe box, even when ordering Wide. Why isn't X-Wide available in women's? I did a half size up for these Cliftons and they managed to work, but barely. When I walk the support and cushion is there, but the shoe is a tad long, especially since the style is extra pointy in the toe. I mainly got these for beginning to walk more after some major tendon issues in my feet. I don't know if I'd purchase these again since the sizing across the board for Hoka is pretty narrow. Please make X-wide available in women's! I really want to be more in love with your shoes than I currently am!

They didn't fit like my other Hoka's. The color was off. I wasn't expecting pink!
