Everything is great about these shoes except cleaning them, the mesh seems to lock in stains.

My wife’s foot is gargantuan, very wide with a high instep. The style and color of the shoe was very nice and sporty but even ordering the D With , which is the widest that Hoka makes for a wide woman shoe, was still too narrow. She does have other Hoka shoes which somehow seem to fit her so we’re confused about the width sizing.

I previously had the Clifton 6 and liked that is had a toe cap, which the 7 does not. A very minor detail. I would highly recommend the Clifton 8.

These are comfortable to wear but not for running for me.

I needed a new pair of running shoes so I bought the Clifton 8. I usually wear Brooks but I wanted to try something that would provide more of rolling motion when I run. The Clifton 8 definitely does that! They feel like I'm running on a cloud! My next pair I'm going to size up because I think they run a little small in the toe area. I've been getting little blisters on my toes. Other than that they're great!

I started wearing the Clifton 7 and had to purchase the 8 since they discounted the older version. The 8 increased in size by almost a whole shoe size I think. My ankle slips constantly no matter how tight I tie them and it causes blisters. I never had this issue with the Clifton 7 and I ordered the same size and everything. The toe box feels larger too. Not sure what exactly they changed in the design but please revert it back. I will continue to use them since I cannot return them and they are still better than any Nike or adidas or even brooks that I've used. But I hope the Clifton 9 design will be improved upon

Within a month of purchasing HOKA Clifton's, the logo began to peel off of the shoe. I contacted customer service and they offered an exchange, but only after I returned the current pair. I understand why, but I use the shoes for work and don't have another pair to use in the meantime. I'm disappointed that the logo began to peel within a month of purchase, but since I can't relinquish my work shoes, I'll just deal with the poor aesthetics. Other than that, it's a great shoe that keeps me comfortable while on my feet all day.

This shoe is like walking on clouds. Really so obsessed w this shoe BUT the one thing I do not like is that my foot is so narrow, so it feels like my feet are sliding around alot. They also run big... I am 5'11" and my feet are in between an 11 and a 12 but they don't carry an 11.5 in this shoe :(

I used for walking in regular basis. Very stable and good support especially I have knee replacement. I think it needs a little more cushion. It's costly, but I would like to try Bondi. Thanks to my daughter she loves Hoka shoes and recommend me to it and my two sisters saw my Hoka shoes. They both bought too and a friend.

Very nice shoe. Fit was good except for being a quite snug across the instep.

Too much black. But there were no other pleasing alternatives so I ordered these. I’m returning them.

I wear these shoes for work. I am a PTA and I walk two to three miles a day. Great comfort! The only thing that I did not like was the big wide yellow going around to the back of the shoe. It makes my feet look like a pontoon boat. Just a personal hang up since I have big feet.

These shoes are so comfy and they're the only ones I can workout/walk in. I perform moderate-intensity walking and weight lifting. However, after only a few months these have already ripped on the inside of the shoe at the heel. Disappointed in that aspect as I would expect an expensive shoe to hold up better than this.

I bought these shoes to replace worn out running shoes. They are like running on pillows. I only wish I would have gotten a 7 instead of a 7.5. If you are in between sizes go with the size smaller. They still work but I've had some blisters. Great shoes though I can't wait to buy another pair.

I am a nurse and am on my feet most of the day. They have been some of the most comfortable sneakers until now. I have developed callouses on the outermost part of my feet. The shoes seem to be not wide enough.

I'm looking for a replacement style now that the Gaviota 2 is no longer made. The sizing feels right, the cushioning & stability feel good for my slightly flat, neuroma'd feet, but I just didn't like the white. I know it's fashionable but these are just for walking/running/light trails! I feel like my mom but I think I need a color that won't be so obviously dirty, which these will in just seconds.

I have a wide forefoot and narrow ankle/heel. These fit me perfectly in the wide version. However, I did not like the shape of them. They are quite pointed and my feet are not- I prefer a more rounded toe. Otherwise comfortable!

The fit was great - but I've chosen to purchase another pair of the Bondi 7. Already have a pair and like the overall width/size of the Bondi. The Clifton 8 feels very much like the Rincon 3, which I have as well. I'm a huge Hoka fan.

Tongue on the Clifton 8 is much more stiff than the Clifton5's I have. Why do you have to change a good fit? Digs in to top of my foot. All other fit aspects are comfortable.

I have several pairs of Hoka shoes. I have to wear orthotics in my shoes and when I put them in my new Hokas they squeak every step I take. I was told to put baby powder in my shoes and I did but they still squeak!

The arch hits too far back on the left foot. Since I already own a pair of this style, I’ve noticed recently My right foot feels the edge of the insole and it becomes painful during my walk/hikes. I returned the yellow one due to this. For the price, and overall comfort - I’m not a HOKA fan at all! Thank God for Zappos making returns easy, the HOKA website was not a good experience nor was their return process - ugh!

Love the Clifton 8. Had the Clifton 7 and needed new shoes. These are so comfortable. I'm a pharmacy technician and stand all day. I also wear insoles and my feet do not hurt all day. The shoestrings are a lot shorter in the Clifton 7 and I do not like that. Almost not enough to double tie.
