I’m always on the quest for the perfect sneaker. These Cliftons are bouncy and you will not feel the road beneath you. Sometimes I think they are, in fact, too soft for my feet and cause discomfort. However, as most sneakers I’ve tried were too far the other way, I’ve kept and enjoyed them. As well, I appreciate the fact that these shoes actually have a good size toe box for my slightly wide foot. It seems shoe manufacturers are going narrower and narrower and it’s hard to find shoes that actually have room for your toes anymore. I got these in wide and they are ample in width. Wonderful. I can wear any sock I want (even wool in winter, I suspect) and have no issues.
My perfect sneaker is the New Balance 840 in wide if that helps as it is soft but also has firm arch support (the looks/style of that shoe is poor, so I continue my search for something that checks all boxes).

I have never bought anything but a 7.5 in HOKA. First time buying a Clifton and a 7.5 is to long.

Was skeptical at first as I have been a one brand sneaker person forever, but after speaking with friend who are wearing Hokas and hearing their positive reactions to them I decided that I would try a pair.
So I treated myself to a pair (a bit more expensive then my standard sneaker) but as of now I feel worth every penny. They truly are comfortable and have support in the arches, which I need.

These are great shoes; however, they squeak when I walk. Do not wear them in a quiet situation.

So comfortable on my right shoe. Very uncomfortable for my bunion on left foot. Hoping I can break it in.

Walking, shopping everyday use. The insole could be more Cousy, the Achilles area a bit more padded. Feel great when first putting them on but several hours later not as comfy. I replaced the insole and that helped with that!

The shoes are OK. My feet still hurts after a long day of standing and walking. I will give a try to another shoe.
The shoe color is nice, wide width is comfortable.

I have a bit of a wider than normal foot and like to order a wide width to help increase comfort factor. This is my first pair of Hokas and the shoe felt a bit on the larger side. I normally am an 8.5 and ordered this sneaker in an 8.5W. I think that the normal 8.5 width may have been just fine and this felt a bit too wide but I'm going to keep them as a thicker sock will fit just fine.

Perhaps QC could be better. One shoe is smaller where the tongue is sewn in; it is uncomfortable across the top of my foot/toes. The other shoe feels great.

Shoe fit good and is comfortable. Wishing there was more arch support. I can only wear them 8 hours before my heels start hurting.

My podiatrist recommended Hoka. Initially got size 9 because that is my regular size. Zappos changed it to 9.5. Feels some tight. Hope that it will loosen up some with use. Otherwise excellent pair of shoes.

Nice shoe. I'm a regular 6.5 and I got a 6.5 but I feel a 6 would have been better in this style.

I learned about Hoka at a running store and bought a brightly colored version of this model. Loved it so much that I ordered a second pair in all black so I could be a little more low-key when running errands, etc.

Zappos recommended size 9 based on previous purchases and it's a little big. It felt okay when I first put the shoes on, but then walking there is slippage in the back and my little toe formed a blister. Since I'd already worn them, I couldn't return them, so am trying to make do with bandaids and thick socks. The cushioning feels good, but I think these shoes are better for running than walking.

The shoe fit ok. The issue i have with it is due to the way its constructed. The tongue of the shoe is attached to the body via a webbing. Even with the laces as loose as possible the shoe was still too tight around the body of my foot. I felt a constant uncomfortable pressure on the top of my foot. Either the webbing needs to go or needs to be looser.

I have needed wide shoes for most of my adult life... however, with the naturally wide style of this shoe, I probably could have gone with the regular width. I bought these for my zumba/aerobics classes, and I was looking for a wider, more stable base, which the Clifton certainly provides! But my foot slides around on quick direction changes. This can be somewhat remedied by wearing thicker socks or doubling up on socks. For any other activity (running, dog walking, biking, shopping, light hiking), I've found these to work incredibly well for my foot. My ankles feel highly secure and stabilized, yet the bed is SO soft. I also love that there is plenty of room for my toes. Seeing that I have two completely different foot sizes (9.5 and 10.5), I need the spaciousness. Let's also talk about color... EGGNOG / SHIFTING SAND is sooooo luxurious and can be dressed up easily for work!!

Ok these are super squishy and comfy and perfect for walking. I normally wear 10 in Nike and these in 10 fit perfectly. The only con is that they make my feel look huge. One reason I sent back the light apricot pair and reordered the black pair. They are just so comfortable I had to do it, and am keeping this pair. Note- these are the closest sneakers I’ve found that compare to my old Adidas Boost. Which are THE best just falling apart after 7 years. . .

I love Hokas..however I have always worn the Bondi style and decided to try a pair of Clifton'sthe right shoe felt like the insert was cut too narrow and rubbed a blister on the side of my foot. The Hoka company let me return the shoes with no problemI'm just going to stick with my Bondi's.

Shoes feel comfy although not a lot of arch support for my high arches. I will buy insoles. They are half size too big and I even bought a high size down. I describe them as "boats". I feel like I'm floating on the payment but with the large soles I find myself scuffing parent on the toe and feel a bit slower with the thickness. Fattest shoe I've ever had!
