great for plantar fasciitis

The shoes are great for the neighborhood walking I do. Great cushion in the heel, could use a bit more cushioning in the front/ball of the foot. I would recommend them.

Clifton didn't fit as good as Bondi or Gaviota.

This is my first pair of Hokas, I've been a diehard Altra girl but was starting to experience some heel pain in their new models so I tried the Clifton's. I have very wide feet and the wide width could be a bit wider and I have some rubbing of the arch sole on my left foot but I'm otherwise loving these. I no longer run far and I find them very comfortable to hike and runs up to 10k or so. Not quite cushy enough in the roads but perfect for non technical trails.

Like them so much! First pair. I feel they run a bit bigger than every other brand. I do like the support - A LOT!

I needed a higher arch to take the load off of my heel pain. It worked immediately and after a month I'm glad i chose this particular brand and make.

These shoes have a lot of cushion and comfort. I typically wear Brooks and these seem to run a bit larger. The shoes have a lot of cushion and a large toe area which I like. Very Likely to buy again.

not as much as i thought

Everyone raves about Hoka but I didn't find them to be what I was looking for. I'm going to keep wearing them to be sure before I make any future decisions.

I've have worn the Clifton 4 and the Clifton 5. Sadly, the Clifton 8 was a different fit. The arch seemed to be in a different location and was very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I had to return these. I really appreciate HOKA's easy return policy. Luckily, HOKA has opened a brick and mortar store in South Coast Plaza in Southern California. I am looking forward to seeing what I can find there. HOKA is a fabulous shoe and was recommended by my podiatrist about 6 years ago. These shoes have been my savior and allowed me to start walking/hiking long distances again. Thanks HOKA.

I use these shoes for casual Friday and running about town. They are comfortable. I wear wide width and have trouble finding comfy ww shoes. These work well. I have another pair of Hokas for exercising.

I have always bought the Bondi style, but went with Clifton this time. I prefer the Bondi fit, but am happy with this shoe.

This is a greatly manufactured athletic shoe. My only issue is that I seem to have gotten worn creases across the mid section more quickly than with my last purchase. Keep in mind that I don't run in this shoe. I wear them in the office.

It gave me comfort but I thought it was for me. But it was nott.
