The size was too small and shipping took forever. I ended up buying this same shoe from another vendor and received it within 24 hours. So far no complaints, but I'm still breaking them in

We use the shoe for work since we tend to stand and walk a lot. Our concern is the cloth material for the shoe. My husband owns a pair of Hoya shoes that have a cloth material and within approximately one year they began to tear. I own another pair of Hoka shoes, Bondi 7, and the material used on that shoe, with the short rubber bands that go around the side and front of the shoe, seems to be a much better design.

This supposedly fits the same as Brooks but was gigantic in comparison. Way too big for the same size. Tried moving down a half size but then they were way too tight.

The shoes fit perfectly except the arch is too high for me. I thought they would be keepers but I ran down my hall and back and my arches were hurting. Hoka brand was recommended but they're not for my type of feet.

Great looking shoe, but because it's B-width and not narrow, sadly I had to return

I have quite a few pairs of Hokas as my feet are in such bad shape-I also have two pairs of New Balance. At least three pairs of the Hokas I have had erosion in the inside heel area.Very annoying( two pairs were replaced one happened recently ut of warranty ) so I am always concerned that a new pair will lose the inner foam padding .That said the first few months are always nice and problem free -they are comfortable - just not all that sturdy or reliable. This color is very bright but since I got it on sale it will be a fun occasional wear.Overall I recommend the for people with problem feet just be aware they aren't built to last - the New balance actually last longer.
I'd also recommend:
New balance

Ordered my normal size and they were a half size too big. The arch hit in all the wrong places. Returned and order half size smaller and seems to be perfect

Really comfortable and doesn't take much time to break them in. I wish there was more arch support. I had to buy insoles. I have lost a lot of my arch over the years, so my once narrow foot now requires a wide shoe.

First time ordering Hoka shoes. It's not as bouncy as I expected. Wanted a bouncy one. And I ordered a Regular and it came in Wide. I'm ok with that because to lazy to return.

This was my first pair of Hokas. These were purchased primarily for walking and daily comfort. My foot measures between 7-7.5 M. I wear a 7.5M in Nikes for reference. The 7.5M Hoka fit perfectly. I have a little room beyond the big toe. I think my big toe in a 7 would have been touching the end. My only criticism is the inner removable sole. The edge is so sharp and digs into the bottom of my foot on the inner side of the show. I put on socks, which I don't always wear with these shoes and the shoe was very comfortable, supportive and cushioned. I did contact customer service at Hoka and they never heard of this problem before. I just saw reviews on Zappos of this issue. I am hoping that issue resolves itself with wear.

I got these for walks rather than running, and they have good potential, but I definitely need to try the 30-day Hoka test-drive. The overall sizing is good for my wide-ish foot—I was able to get the wide instead of having to size up a half size. It is not, however, very wide—it has a pretty normal heel size, with a wider toe area. It is unfortunately a bit uncomfortable (tight) right at top of my foot. We will see if it stretches a bit. Also, I was expecting a pretty cushy sole, but it isn’t really. It’s not uncomfortably firm, but not exactly walking on air. They’re a lot cuter than the Bondi 8, which because of the odd sole looks particularly clown-sized in a wide. However, the Bondi doesn’t seem to have the arch tightness issue, so the odd sole may be worth it.

I love how light they are. I am having an issue with the arch of my left foot with this shoe, however, that can be due to the fact that I just had knee replacement surgery on my left leg and it may take a little time for my leg/foot to normal out.

Overall the shoe was great and very supportive when walking. The only thing wrong was the arch was too high for my foot type so I had to return for that reason.

This shoe has been recommended to me for years and my hold out has always been how ugly the huge sole looks. Recently, I've struggled with a terrible bout of plantar fasciitis and finally broke down and bought a pair. They've really helped me get back to active and assisted with heel pain. I was shocked at how light the shoe is as it looks incredibly heavy. still won't be wearing these outside of the house/gym. I WISH they could design something with the same functionality that looked a little bit more awesomebut they're great for your feet/running

This shoe is good but it doesn't feel as cushy as previous Clifton shoes. I'm keeping them and wearing them but I'm not anticipating long use out of them. Hopefully I'm wrong. I'll buy the next Clifton model when it comes out in hopes of improved cushion.

I decided to buy a pair after looking at them online for a while. My friends both recommended this specific style for being on my feet all day. I have to say if you're debating on buying a pair, go ahead and do it! They're comfortable, the breaking in period is really short, and they're so lightweight. They also come clean in the wash easily too.

Hoka brand shoes were recommended to me by my podiatrist. For reference I wear a women's size 11.5, regular width. I tried the Clifton 8 in women's size 12 regular width (11.5 isn't available) and they were too narrow; the length was doable. Then I tried the men's size 10.5 in regular width and found them to also be too narrow and a little too long in length. My last attempt was a men's size 10 in a wide width, and they fit. I've never worn a wide width in any shoe. I am not a runner so I can't attest to how the shoe performs for that activity. For walking I think that they provide great cushion without feeling unstable.

Length about 1/2 size short. Width was true. Very deep toe box so plenty of room. Maybe too much room for me. I’m not a fan of athletic shoes in general and theses look huge to me when looking down because there is so much sole. However, I think they would do the job if you have plantar fasciitis as I have just recently acquired. They didn’t hurt. The colors are not are deep as shown in images online.

Fit true to size and were quite comfortable. I ordered a few pairs from different brands and these would have been my second choice. Just not quite as comfy and supportive as the asics, so they are going back.

There is certain inconsistency in shoe width of the same models and between different colors. Have had to return certain colors of this model for a color that had better fitting width-wise.
