The sizing was fine for this shoe. The problem: As I walked I could feel the seam of the what is supposed to be supportive moving around. I can get plantar fascitis really easily because I walk/run for miles at work and for fun and will probably not be able to use these shoes. That's a lot of money down the drain. My first Clifton 6 worked so well. These frankly "suck"

I have worn Hoka Clifton for several years for the arch support. This model has no arch support. I don’t understand why companies change their design.

Ugh. I eagerly awaited this new version. The 7 was too wide. I remedied it by wearing hiking socks. Also, it was a tad too plush like the Bondi. The 8 is a huge disappointment. I had to overcome the horror of the color combination (weird sickly blue & orange) and gave them the old college try.The new mesh fabric seems like it will tear easily. It was not supportive. I could feel my foot swishing back and forward. I have a narrow foot. I could feel my baby toe being smushed. It was red when I took the shoe off. It was way too narrow with running socks. My legs ached. What is going on? Why is there so much change for the worse? To me the 4 was the most perfect shoe in the world. I am going to try the Rincons. Despite the horrors of the changes Hoka inflicts on its fans their shoes are still the best. Just not the Cliftons, I guess.

I love these shoes! They are so comfortable and great for walking. I didn't even have to break them in, they were perfect the first time i wore them.

I love my Clifton 8s, they are my fave.

I love these shoes! So comfortable and so easy to clean. All I do is wash them at the laundry mat! I change the laces to match my outfits and they are so cute. Had them for two years and they still look great! Couldn’t love them more!

Great for long walks, super comfy.

I am a avid walker and these sneakers are the best in support and have a wider toe box than other brands I have tried. Walk an average of 40-50 miles per week. Good cushioned insole and arch support. This is my third pair of Hoka Clifton 8.

A good to know description of this shoe to know is, that the shoe has a wide toe and women not accustomed to seeing their feet in a wide toe may be surprised by the width of the shoe. I purchased these specifically for an after surgery therapy shoe. The shoe was designed perfectly for what I needed as my foot was swollen for over a year. The pair I purchase served their purpose so well, the bottom sole started to wear out.

These shoes are amazing! Purchased for a trip to Disney World as I knew we’d be doing tons of walking. Wore these shoes 4 days straight walking miles at all the parks. At the end of each day I was tired but my feet weren’t! These shoes feel like you’re walking on clouds. Highly recommend and am planning to purchase again!

Feels like walking on a cloud. A wee bit more narrow than my other Hokas.

Super fit and super. Comfortable! I ordered a 9.5B which is my size in a running shoe.

needed a walking/gym shoe. not great for lifting or cross training but great for walking or running errands. I don't run so not sure how good they'd be for that

The fit was excellent. I ordered Wide and it truly was Wide. I had been dealing with plantar fasciitis for close to a year with frequent flare-ups. I had to limit distances walking. These Hoku shoes immediately felt right and I could feel relief right away. I couldn't ask for better footwear.

Fit and size is great. One of the shoes recommended by my podiatrist for my arthritic feet. They feel good on my feet although I don't love the look.
