I feel like these run a little big. I have had to change the weight of aock I wear to accommodate for the size. Comfort is good! Look good!

I have plantar fasciitis and was told to get this shoe. It doesn’t give me the relief I’d expected but it is a good fit. I’m hoping with my foot healing the shoe gets more comfortable.

The fitting size was fine. The color was different than online picture. On the picture, it shows the yellow laces and a yellow lip coming up to the front of the shoe. Once again it was orange not yellow. I kept them, but I wasn’t as happy as I would be, they should put pictures that match the color. This is the second time and the third time I got a pair that were used. I finally ordered a pair. They came true to the color on the site. they were comfortable, but I also put in an extra in there so because of my planters fasciitis.

I loved my last Clifton 8s I bought last June, they were amazing and helpful for my relatively flat feet that make my feet and legs sore and tired, but they wore out this summer and were making my feet get sore very quickly again. I'm glad I bought another pair of Cliftons and ordered the same size, but these do feel slightly larger than last year's so I'm sliding around in them a little - but it's a minimal amount and I figured sizing down could be uncomfortable for my beginning of a bunion on one foot. Thicker socks in winter should help. And for what it's worth, my chiropractor did approve of the stiffness of the footbed for support.

I like these shoes but they fit different than the Clifton 7 I have. Not as comfortable or as much cushion.

Decided not to go up 1/2 size for insert to fit, and I’m glad I didn’t. I wanted these shoes to “hug my feet,” and they do without pinching or feeling too small. Just not as comfortable as I imaged them to be.

The extra cushioning only took a couple long walks to get used to.
Nice fit,,,wide was just wide enough, length perfect ..my usual 8.5.
My only criticism is the heel. I think I must walk with a harder heel plant. I have a pain on my heels that lasts most of my walk. No issues after I take them off. Never had this when I used high end running shoes. Could use a bit more arch support. I plan to buy a gel heel wedge.

These are great for the brisk long walks I take, keep my feet well-aligned and supported. Good thick sole and cushioning. Feels a little too long, if I purchase again I'll go down a half size. The 8 says it is also a size 40, whereas some of my size 8 shoes say they are a 39.

Overall once again I'm very please with Hoka. I tried a different style after purchasing the Bondi 7 which unfortunately I beat to death. I am a courier and am on my feet pretty much 50 hrs a week. Various foot issues including plantar fasciitis and a broken metatarsal had me searching for a forgiving but well-constructed shoe. I hit it with the Bondi 7. However, like an idiot, I tried to save 30$ and get the cheaper Clifton 8. It's a fine shoe but I can tell it's not as sturdy construction-wise and not the super cushy Hoka feel. Probably great for walkers. They remind me a bit of Asics mid-range which I used to swear by. My advice is you are gonna depend on these every day. Get a bit more with the Bondi

They squeak. Only sneakers I've ever had that don't hurt my feet so I will wear them no matter what. First pair I owned were fine. no squeaking.
It is embarrassing when the friends you are walking with are annoyed by it though.

This is my first Hoka purchase. I bought my usual size, 9.5 and the toe box is quite roomy, even a bit too roomy and feels strange when I wear them. It doesn't help that my left foot is smaller than my right by 1/2 a size. I will likely buy a heel insert to see if that helps. Also thinking next time buying a size 9 but perhaps a wide version to accommodate foot swelling.
Overall I like the shoe.

I wear these shoes every day, most of the day. They are very comfortable and well-cushioned, which helps my back, my knees, and my hips! This is my 3rd or 4th pair, and the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5, is this pair, although it is the same size as my last pair, is longer than the last pair. I probably should have tried a half size smaller.

The Clifton 8 runs narrow in the toe box so if you have a wide foot or suffer from bunions, you may want to chose the wide width.

I switched to Hoka Clifton 8 from Brooks Ghost. I wore Brooks for years but the wide option gets more narrow every year. The latest Brooks Ghost hurt my feet, knees, hips after my first run and even more the second run. I saw Hoka 8's were a good alternative for running shoes. The wide option is wide enough for my feet. I did not size down as some reviews have said, I got my usual size. They are a tad more roomy in length than my Brooks but that does not bother me. I only run a mile a day, but I felt these to be comfortable, no pain or discomfort after. I will keep with Hokas for now and suggest them for wide feet people.

This is my second pair of Hoka shoes and I am very satisfied with my purchase. I like the wide width option and the extra cushion of the shoe. I have an extra bounce in my step when I wear them. I've been having back pain and foot issues but these shoes provide extra support and comfort. They make me feel confident in my gait.

I ordered white and now regret that....the robin's egg blue and orange are really an odd combo. In any event, I won't be wearing them out except for power walking. Third or 4th pair of the Clifton's and I do like them for my exercising. Now, if HOKA is listening, they would bring back the Hupana Slip-on in black and white for women, STAT! That was my go-to shoe for wearing with jeans and casual slacks, and I'm super disappointed Hoka is no longer offering them. They were a nice sleek design, and with them being a slip on, a little more dressy and paired nicely with casual outfits. C'mon Hoka, bring 'em back!!!

Love these shoes ~~ I accidentally ordered 7.5 (instead of 8)... thank goodness I did. The 8 would have been huge. Others have stated the toe box is too large. True. I would not be able to run in these! But, they are perfect for work, & I can wear them in gym for stationary bike & elliptical (not for treadmill!).

Love them but I usually wear an 8.5 in Nikes and 8 was still too big for me.

Why can't HOKA stop changing numbers and keep a real winner like Clifton 7. Change up the color annually if they need to edit a perfect edition. These feel stiff and the heel is way too wide. Any why are women's shoes pastel peach when men's are vibrant orange??

I thought this shoe would be perfect as comfortable when first put on, but the arch support was simply not enough for me. Otherwise lightweight and nearly perfect.

I wanted to like these since everyone is always telling me how great Hokas are. But I did not find them wide enough in the toe box for me, nor as cushy as my Brooks Ghost 13s. So, I will return them and maybe try another style.

Wanted to like the shoe - but had to return. The toe box was more narrow than I like. The padding under and extending away from the laces dug into to top of my foot. I have a slim foot. Guess I'll stick with Brooks shoes, they are more comfortable but not as good looking...

On the edge of the shoe inside, the sole tilts up. I'm right on the edge of narrow and wide width shoes. Usually I don't have to buy wide shoes, but in this one, I had to return as the sloping inside portion of the sole was not comfortable. The length and toe box was otherwise great. Sad that they slope, was looking to upgrade my shoes.
