I have worn a NewBalance 8 1/2 for years. I ordered an ASICS 8 1/2 and it was too small. For me, an ASICS size 9 equals a NewBalance size 8 1/2.

Typical ASIC fit: true to size. I had to loosen the laces and re-adjust them to fit my typical 11/D feet. But after that, I hardly knew I was wearing them (running on a turf field).

Fit was all well except it seems like a "second" quality compared to the same shoe at the Outlets. Cover material has very little ventilation holes or material and seems like less lateral support....like nylon. Will see how they wear and "break in"...Cheap investment.

Only one small complaint I have a narrow feet and need arch supports, which made the shoe strings to short. I like the shoes and they are very comfortable, all in all I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I am currently playing 5+ times per week and wearing this model. They're great but I just wish the toebox was a bit wider/ roomier. I buy these a half-size bigger fyi.

Liked the style and fit. However, I gave the product overall only three stars because the laces were way too short. I could barely tie the shoes when I tried them on. When I compared the length of the laces on the new shoes to the pair of ASICS tennis shoes I have. the new shoe laces were seven (7) inches shorter! I returned the new pair; cannot use them if I can not tie the shoes. I hope this was just a manufacturing error and not a misguided attempt to cut costs

These lasted my son only a few months before the sole was worn through. Fantastic comfort and good on the court, but don't expect it to last long on a hard outdoor court.

My son likes this shoe a lot. We've bought it more than once. My only complaint is that the sole wears out way too quickly. We just bought the shoe two months ago and already he needs replacements. I know he plays a lot of tennis, but I need to find something new to see if it will last at least a couple more months.

I have always like Asics shoes for sport and especially for pickleball. Unfortunately it seems like where I use to be able to go 6 months before getting a new pair, this last pair has only lasted 3 month and are already needing to be replaced. That is from only playing twice a week for 3 months.

The shoes were fairly comfortable. However, with just moderate play (2-3 times a week), the bottom of the shoes are quite worn. Also, they have just ok ventilation in hot weather.
