This is my first pant I can truly say I love. I have an extraordinary issue with buying pants. I deal with many different physical practices and I never was able to find pants that would allow unrestricted freedom of movement and would not make me look like a homeless person. I jump, climb, I can do splits in those. I am looking forward to seeing how they will last with the variety of activities I do.

Die Hose ist leicht und angenehm zu tragen. Ich habe die Hose neu und werde sehen, wie sie sich im Alltag bewhrt.

Having owned these pants for 8 months now I would highly recommend. I put them through some skiing , rock climbing, and hiking and it performed well in all domains.
While not a pair of pants for skiing, they worked in a pinch as long as you aren't falling constantly and sitting on watery surfaces all the time. with a pair of baselayer underneath I was adequately warm in below freezing temperatures. when they did get wet, they dry very fast.
What I love the most about these pants is how resistant to abrasion they are. Many times I was worried that I had ripped a hole in them bushwhacking or crashing badly while skiing but they still look unscathed and brand new.
Perfect pants for rock climbing when the weather isn't blazing hot. The stretchy fabric allows you to do all the moves that you'd need to do to succeed while protecting your legs.
some of the Cons are that it is noticeably crinkly when walking however it no longer bothers me now and i am able to tune it out. It can get quite warm in these pants through hot days since there aren't any vents or anything. Unzipping the pockets and allowing air to flow through the mesh pockets helps a little. It can get a little damp when sweating and moisture does sometimes build up on the screen of my phone so i try and be careful.
TLDR: Versatile pants that are at home in many different scenarios. Can ski, rockclimb, and hike well. Nearly impossible to rip holes in them. little noisy, and can get a bit hot in mid to high summer.

This is the third pair of gamma Lt pants I own. They are really comfortable and tough.
I use them for everyday and hiking and am super pleased with them.
I would love another pocket on the left thigh for us left handed people.
These are still my go to pants.

I absolutely love these pants. The fit, feel, and quality on them is top notch. I probably even wear them a bit too much, but that's ok. These make for the perfect hiking, climbing, or backpacking pant. Don't ever stop producing them!

Amazingly light fabric but very protective, nicely breathable and flexible. Just add a base layer underneath and good to go in ANY conditions. Last week snowshoe up ski area in 15 f degree 25 mph gusts and stayed plenty warm for both the up and down.

Bought a pair for me and I use them almost everyday. Then bought for husband and he loves them as well. On colder days I wear a pair of tights. Best feature is the cinch cord at ankles.

I have been using my gamma LT pant (pilot, M) which I have purchased couple of weeks ago. I needed a technical gear for hiking and tracking as well as daily use, specially in the rainy day, this pant fullfilled all of them. lightweight, durable, rain / wind resistant and very soft to my skin.

These have become my favorite outdoor pants. Durable, light-weight, comfortable, they wash-up well, don't stain and seem to retain their DWR after several washings. I have sensitive skin, and the the brushed interior doesn't scrape my legs like other tech pants can. If it gets too cold, I just wear some long underwear underneath them. They also look good for weekend casual wear.
I've worn these in the rain numerous times, the DWR is OK for light rain but if you brush up against anything or walk through long grass they'll soak through. They will dry fast.
The built-in belt is a nice feature, it's not bulky and avoids the bulk of belt loops or an external belt. I initially wondered how effective the built-in belt was, but I haven't had any issues with the belt slipping loose or becoming undone.
I like the draw-string leg openings, and although Arcteryx doesn't seem to mention this in the description, there are a couple of small grommet holes on each leg to run shoelaces through so you can tie the pants close to your boot and avoid using a gaiter.

These are my favourite outdoors pants. A first look I thought they wouldn't be very durable with how light they are, but I was wrong. I've put these pants through all kinds of torture and haven't ripped or stained them. When the temperature dips a bit, I just throw on some long underwear and I'm good to go. When I ordered them I thought that they said they were treated with dwr, but they're definitely not waterproof at all. I was hoping they would keep my legs dry while walking though tall grass, but I still think they deserve 5 stars.

I used these pants on most days on a trekking trip. Scrambling, hiking, trekking. Pants held up very well and was comfortable the entire time. Feels thicker than my regular lightweight trekking pants, but that just means added durability. Softshell fabric so breathable was on point.

These are great hiking pants. Extremely comfortable, good temperature regulation, durable material. The leg hems are a little tight for fitting over hiking boots but that is a minor issue for me. I like back pockets so I think it's strange these don't have any but that is also not a deal breaker. Highly recommend.

Wow! Holy guacamole! I was looking for a go-to pant for hiking and camping during the spring/summer in British Columbia and had a friend recommend these bad boys. They are perfect.
They shed water, break wind, keep bugs from biting, and regulate temperature super well. They are all-around super functional as a summer outdoor pant. The major bonus, though, is that they look nice enough you can wear them as a travel pant. They are now my go-to flight pant. Zippered pockets and brushed lining is bueno. These are a must-buy all around pant.

These are my new 'go to' pants for hiking and dinner! I was so impressed with the fit and style, that I ordered 3 of the 4 colors. Highly recommended if you are looking for an athletic fitting pant without any bagginess. My wife loves them on me. Say no more!!

These were my go to pants on a recent trip to New England, where the weather was very cold and we even had snow on some days, these pants were the only ones I needed.
They cut the wind and shed the snow superbly, I have an original pair of Gamma AR pants and although great pants were never a great fit on me but the LTs are a great trim fit.
Please Arcteryx make the Mongoose colour LTs in a short leg...

I indicated that the pants fit small. That was from my perspective. I should disclose that I have been told my thighs and calves are unusually large and muscular for my height and waist size. In all likelihood, the pants are probably true to size.
Now for the review... Super comfortable. I have worn the pants several times, but only for walking around. Have not done any climbing or camping in them - yet. I don't suspect my review will change after those activities though. Pockets are generous and nicely placed.

I am blown away by the exceptional quality of these pants. The fit is perfect. I am 5 ft 9 in 150 lbs with a 29 in waist. I ordered XS. The waist size and 32 in inseam are perfect. The durability is off the chart. I hit my knee pretty hard on the threaded end of a large bolt while wearing these. There was not a scratch on these pants even though my knee was left with a bruise. Just enough stretch to enable freedom of movement. Very breathable as well. The cut of the pants is great too. I've worn them in temperatures ranging from 40 degrees f to 85 f. Great for cooler weather. They repel water very well. An exceptional fabric and probably as perfect for all around activity as one could find. Hands down my favorite pants.

First, a little bit about me. I am 1.74m (5ft 8in) tall and weigh 74kg (163lb). My chest measures 109cm (43in) and waist 84cm (33in). I have an athletic build and my challenge is always finding things to fit my chest/ back/ shoulders particularly when reaching and whilst maintaining a trim fit around the mid-riff. I have size medium.
This is a great 2-3 season pant for all mountain activity- it really is. The material is breathable and is very light but appears so far to be super durable (very wind resistant too). The fit is a little forgiving for me- especially around the butt and the legs (it could be even lighter still with a trimmer fit).
My main small drawback is the hem drawcords are a little fiddly to use (but I tend not to use them so not an issue for me and not deserving 4-Star for that small point).
Other than that- they're a great pair of pants for all but the hottest summers day or those days where you may need to stick the crampons on.

Have two pair of these pants. They are comfortable and they fit just right and I'm not the average build. 5'11" and 245lbs solid build. 36 waist and 30 inseam. I need extra room to accomdste larger thighs. XL fits perfect. The web in belt works great and adjusts perfectly. The pants move with you which is a big factor when climbing or any other activity for that matter. Great purchase!
