I've had these pants for at least 6 years. I use them for everything from rock climbing on sharp limestone, mountaineering, multiday backpacking, and around the house. They just keep going. They are very comfortable, dry extremely quickly, and are surprisingly durable for how thin they are. I highly recommend these pants.

I hate that summer is coming, because they will be too warm to wear. These pants are outstanding and are are durable and comfortable. I'm a hiker who lives in Nashville, TN where winters are mild and unpredictable. As soon as I washed them, I would wear them again. I also have the Gamma AR which are useful on colder days, but the LT is go too. Wish there more colors.

I've been wearing Gamma LT's for decades for hiking, climbing, backpacking, sea kayaking, pack rafting, and everything in between. They fit great, are very comfortable, and last forever. I appreciate the tall sizing - these are the only pants I can get that fit perfectly.

Hello, I am 6' 185 with a 34" inseam and a 32" waist. I found most pants to fit tight on the thighs, and rise up from the ankles when you are climbing. I bought these in the medium tall. They have a slim fit but are not tight. They are extra long and don't show off my socks.

Pants for every activity. Mainly used for cragging, bouldering and hiking in the summer and indoor bouldering in the rainy months. These pants have regular and comfortable fit for all day comfort.
Fabric is very durable and has not shown signs of wear after a full season of heavy usage, mostly outdoor climbing. The fabric dries very quickly.
One thing to keep in mind is that the insteam for these pants are 1 inch longer than what is stated in the alpha sizing chart (for regular and short, not sure about tall).

I've owned two pairs of Gamma LT pants. The first style from years back and a pair I got this year. These are the most versatile pants out there. In these pants, I've backpacked in Montana, wet-waded Wyoming, climbed, skied, rafted, and just about everything else. They are always packed when we travel. They are light enough for warm weather activity and "soft-shell" enough to go over fleece pants for playing in the snow. These fit great under a harness (all the seams are flush or out of the way). I really like the adjustable cuff for making them shorter for bike commutes and bouldering. I wish I had a pair for every day of the week.

I was hesitant to spend the extra $ on these, but when compared to others the construction is superior, fabric is lighter yet performs better and so well fitted. You get what you pay for and in this case you get an exceptional pair of hiking pants.

I have two pairs of these trousers and I live in them: they are comfortable, wear well, hold their shape, etc. A little thin in the winter but otherwise I pretty much wear them unless it's super hot (when I shift to my Gamma LT shorts).
They are a little loose in the leg for my taste and the belt 'buckle' does undo itself more frequently than I'd like. But otherwise, they are great for hiking, urban environment, and camping. And they survive muddy paws from my dog relatively well.
The only real issue I have with them is that Arc'teryx seem to have changed their sizing: when I tried to buy a new pair of M they were significantly longer than my old M, and it seems that MS is the new M. And their 'short' versions are rarely in stock.

From Minnesota and walk 5-6 miles a day in all types of weather. I really really like these pants. Usually wear long underwear underneath when it's below 20 degrees and down to zero. Great! Keeps me warm. Breathable material and blocks out the wind. Repels the snow. I am 5'6 and 150 lbs. wear the size ss. Perfect fit for me. Age 73 Going to order another pair in a different color.

Unlike the Gamma MX jacket that I didn't rate highly because of it's less than great fit (for me), these gamma pants are perfect. A really great cut, nice material, light but tough. The belt implementation is great. Pockets are just right. Four seasons I'll be wearing these.

I got these for my Grand Canyon trip as I needed some added warmth. I was really pleased with how breathable they are and wicked sweat away. We had to go through some rough rocks and branches and I was amazed how well they held up.
These are really comfortable to wear and have stopped wearing jeans in favor of these now. They look great and have really enjoyed the great pockets and belt.

The Gamma LT Pants are great for just about anything. I'm layering them with the RHO LT Bottoms underneath for the Fall and Winter hiking / scrambling / shopping. They are comfortable like pajamas and look great. I love how you can cinch the ankle cuffs closed around your ankle, prevents drafts and snow from getting up inside. Zipper pockets work well and the thigh pocket is big enough for a passport, keys and small headlamp. Like how easy the belt cinches up too and the extra can be tucked into the belt sleeve.

Pretty much my go to pants for sport climbing, particularly when it isn't exactly sport climbing season (hot/humid). Extremely abrasion resistant despite being a soft material, and wick heat better than most other pants.

Great hiking pant. Trim athletic fit does not restrict mobility. Best for cool days. Weather resistant. Comfortable enough for every day casual use.

I use these for my early morning commute on my bicycle. They are not to baggy and the leg draw string keeps the compression around my ankle to prevent it from getting into the chain when I ride. Also they are easy to pack when it's warm when I ride home after the work day. I loved them so much that I went and bought the mixed weather pair so when it gets even colder outside. I have yet to try those because it hasn't gotten below 40 degrees.

My Wife and I bought a pair of these before traveling to Moab in October. I was amazed at how versatile they are. They worked perfectly for hiking in the desert but also great for hiking the mountains in Glacier National Park. I would definitely recommend getting a pair or two.

I was looking for pants I could wear through every season and these turned out to be the ones. The fit is perfect and I can layer them how I want, thanks to the breathability. The integrated belt is also pure genius; give the one who engineered it an ample raise! Weather resistance is very adequate for my needs and they seem highly durable although being so lightweight. All in all I just can't recommend these enough!
