I bought these pants six months ago and I believe this is the best gear I got this year. Good for both spring and summer, outdoor activity and casual use.

Wind resistant fabric with a really nice hand. Lightweight, yet enough material to be substantial. Fit is true to the size chart, and slightly long.

Whether it be Hiking, travel, or just hanging out around the city this is the most versatile pant I wear. The built in belt and zip pockets are perfect for securing for a bar or a phone.

I was looking for a good fall/not too cold winter hiking pant. What I got is a pair of pants i can where. anywhere. Super comfortable and look good with anything. If it gets a bit colder I wear the AR version (also great but they feel a little more cold weather/technical). I often wear these coaching my kids hockey as they look and feel better than a typical hockey pant. I can even wear these with a nice shirt out to dinner. I love the zippered pocket and could see these being the ultimate travel pant. I'm 6', 190 lbs and the Large fit me perfect.

A great staple in the Arc'teryx line that keeps getting better with new versions. I wear these four a range of outdoor pursuits (hiking & scrambling, climbing, around-town wear, and travel) and love the fit and feel.
Fit is "normal" for Arc'teryx -- not skin-tight but not loose and baggy either. I'm 6' and 220 pounds, with a solid build and cyclists quads, and the size Larges fit trim-but-not-tight.
Fabric is awesome. It stands up to wear-and-tear well (even holding up relatively well to an unintended slide on some Hawaiian lava), and it breathes exceptionally well (a shortcoming of some of the original versions).
The pockets are well thought out, with two front zip pockets that fall into the "goldilocks" category (not too big, but not too small either) and a reliable welded cargo pocket on the right thigh.
I really like the ladder-lock belt: it works reliably and gives great adjustability.
If I could change one thing, I'd make the logo on the legs subdued, rather than overt and reflective. I tend to wear these into less-formal meetings as well, and would welcome a more discrete look. But that's a minor complaint about what is otherwise a well-designed, go-to product that users can count on year-in and year-out.

The Gamma LT Pant has become my go-to when rock climbing. They are very light, but still seem to block the wind decently, and are extremely stretchy, never hindering a high step on vert/slab faces or preventing wide double heel hooks on compression boulders. I love the zippered pockets, as I no longer have to worry about anything falling out of them while climbing. The belt works fairly well, keeping them up despite falling between Small and Medium sizing (Small waist but Medium leg length).

Bought the pants a couple of weeks ago to act as my winter hiking, climbing, dog-walking and general messing about in pants here in Scotland...where we get 7 seasons in any one day....and they are fab! Love them - warm enough when active, a suitable level of 'weatherproofness' when needed, tough enough to climb in and tough enough to handle a black lab puppy launching herself at me....and then you can wipe off the muddy footprints on your legs. Sizing is good - Medium, 32 inch legs...good bit of stretch as I am blaming the covid lockdown and age in changing my shape. Seriously, they just work - not the cheapest...but possibly one of the best.

This has quickly become my go to pant for 3 season through hikes! The stretch material doesn't inhibit movement, dries quickly, and blocks the wind.

Got these pants for summer use. Ultra stretchy and comfortable. Despite the black colour, I don't overheat. The zippered pockets are secure and in good positions for comfortable use. The pants are definitely too light for winter use. I may get a pair of the heavier Gamma pants for winter. Only change I'd make? The belt. The little hook on the belt comes undone spontaneously all the time. Although the belt isn't part of the pants it's part of the package as a whole. Change this and it would be 6 stars.

I love this pants. They are great for hiking. They also do well in the cold if you add a layer underneath. They fit well and look great. I would buy every color if they had XSS in stock.

I have 3 pair of the Gamma LT pants and purchased 1 pair for my wife. I actually have 3 different sizes. I am 5'6" and 145 lbs. and 29-30 inch waist. My first pair is a S (small) and they were fine, but a little long. Loved them so I purchased an xss which was a perfect fit. Only issue is that size is very very hard to find. Then I really needed a different color (first 2 black) so I ordered the kingfisher in xs regular length. Fit well also. I walk daily about 6-7 miles through wooded trails with my dog year around. In Minnesota, that can be cold, so i put on long underwear as an underlay when it gets below 25 which works perfectly. The pants are extremely durable, weather resistant, light and comfortable, they stay dry in the snow as well . My wife and I are retired and spend lots of time hiking and camping. Perfect for our needs. I would strongly endorse this product.

Just got myself a pair and so happy that I did. They are great looking, comfortable, and very durable. I'm sure that with a baselayer underneath, they will be perfect for wearing around during winter. Can't wait to find out. Great job Arc'teryx

I bought a pair of these early in the year (and a pair for my wife as well) in preparation for a 5 day climbing trip to the Bugaboos, and I'm so happy I did. The durability of these pants is incredible. 5 days of climbing and moving over granite is tough on gear. Tough on boots and shoes, tough on climbing hardware, tough on ropes, tough on clothes. After 5 days of alpine climbing where we were jamming legs in cracks, leaning on rock at belays, and sitting on granite summits, these pants still look brand new. I was so impressed that there is not one scratch or tear in either mine or my wife's Gamma LTs.
We both found them extremely comfortable to move in as well. The articulated pant legs are clearly designed for moving in, even the awkward moves (High knees, heel hooks). I liked the thigh pocket to keep my phone in for a quick photo en route. It kept it handy and out of the way of my harness. I also like the cinch cords at the cuffs, which made transitioning from mountaineering boots to climbing shoes a breeze.
These will not be the last Gamma pants we buy!

The Gamma LT are my favorite hiking pants when the temps get around 0 degrees Celcius. Fit is great, material breathes well, sheds rain and comfort is A+. It's nice they make this model in different inseam lengths for fit. Hard to beat. Of course the buying experience is always great from Arcteryx.com. Recommended.

I got these for climbing and hiking. I have to admit I wear them around the house more often than I would like to admit. Very comfortable and fit great. When climbing they give you great mobility, nice and light for summer hiking. Not as durable as some of the other pants.

These are definitely worth the money. They have a great fit that's not too baggy in the legs, but also not too skinny. Love that they have drawstring at the hem of each ankle, which can be hard to find in other hiking pants. They have the perfect amount of stretch so you don't feel restricted. One thing to note, I usually wear size medium pants/shorts in almost all my wardrobe, but the size small fits perfect. If you needed to buy only one 3 season hiking pant, these would be the one. And quality is top notch.

I own every color of this pant. I wear them for sport and casual dress. They go great with a polo. I've received many compliments about them (although my incredible butt probably helps). If you like awesome pants, buy these. And if you gave these pants anything other than a five-star, it's your butt, not the pants.

I purchased these pants initially for hiking and have never owned anything quite as nice! They have since turned into an everyday pant as they're so comfortable and look really nice too! I thought that I would have missed having back pockets, but the side leg pocket seems to cover my bases.
