Took a few wears to break in this boot and the zipper pull is a bit noisy with each step. I do love the rubber sole and appreciate that this is waterproof.

Hard to break in

These boots go with anything, have just the right heel height so you can wear them all day without being uncomfortable and the leather looks to be high quality. The toe does start to pinch a little if Im walking in them quite a bit and theyre a bit stiff but I think thats expected with a new leather item.

Got these just in time for a rainy few weeks to wear to the office and I am so happy with them. They broke in quickly, aren't heavy/chunky like a lot of boots this style, and have great slip-resistance. My only criticisms are that they could use more arch support or a more cushioned interior sole and that the zipper is a bit stiff (which may actually be a great thing because it means it stays zipped and dry). Would definitely recommend if you live somewhere with unpredictable weather but still want to look professional while staying dry.

Everything I expect from Nisolo in terms of quality, durability and fit. On the fence about whether this style works for me because the black on black, the heel, and the pointy toe feel a little more dramatic than my normal casual look. The zipper also isn't super smooth. Definitely think they're good boots, but not quite as versatile as I was hoping.

These are great every day boots. They are a little loose around the foot however, and i had to put insoles in. Overall still love them.

I love these boots a lot, they are really comfortable, the leather is beautiful and will age so well, and they are just a lovely elegant shoe. They took some wearing in on the top of the boot (i had a little scab on the bottom of my leg for about a week), but since that one time, they've been perfectly comfortable. They really elevate a simple outfit and make me feel much more well dressed when I wear them. The only thing I would change is the height, I wish they were just a half inch to a full inch taller in the heel. I already own the Nisolo Chelsea boot in black leather, and these have a *very* similar shape - my boyfriend can hardly tell them apart when I put them on. The good thing about that is that I like the shape of them! I just wish they were a little bit more distinct with a a higher heel both to tell them apart a little and make them a bit more "fancy". Overall, I really love them and feel great about the days I get to wear them!

Love everything except the leather in front of ankle angles back towards the ankle instead of up so it kind of digs into front of lower shin/ankle while walking. Probably this will stretch and become more comfortable over time. Beautiful leather. Heel/sole is super comfortable.

I went back and forth about whether or not to buy these because of the price. I finally got them on sale and Im happy I did. At first they rubbed my ankle in a funny way when going up stairs or driving (basically when my ankle was at an angle) but it stopped after a few wears and theyre comfortable now. Theyre not necessarily going to add wow factor to your outfit but theyre nice looking black boots and they work for me at the office or out for an evening. They seem like theyll last a long time though I do have slight concerns about the zipper which sticks a bit. Im a 7-7.5 depending on the shoe. I bought a 7 at Nisolos advice and they were snug in the beginning but now theyre perfect.

These shoes go with everything. To me they're reminiscent of the classic black Acne boots, but for a fraction of the price and assured sustainability. I feel they will never go out of style. The fit is perfect and they are comfortable, although I do think they could use a little more cushion at the ball of the feet. The only real issue I have with these is the zipper. One of my zippers is very sticky, and is a struggle to get on and off, the other unzips while I walk. This could maybe be helped if it zipped on the side instead of the heel. But overall, I would definitely recommend these and buy them again.

These are beautiful boots, but the fit and sizing are bizarre. First, the shoe runs very small. I'm normally a 7 or 7.5, and I ordered this boot in a 7.5. They were still way too tight! I'd have to size up to an 8 in order to wear them, and I'm never an 8 in boots. The other issue is that they're incredibly narrow. I have very narrow feet, and when I read the reviews saying that the boots were narrow, I figured they'd work perfectly for me. But no! They're actually somehow too narrow for my very narrow feet, which begs the question... who are these boots even made for? So disappointed because they're aesthetically just what I was looking for. Maybe you'll have better luck.

The leather seems very stiff and looks cheap. The width seemed average, maybe a little narrow, but the ankle seems large. Thought they would be quite comfortable with the rubber sole, but did not work for me. Darn!

These are really beautiful booties. The leather is really nice and the construction is really well done. The style is gorgeous. Unfortunately these were really really tight in weird places and definitely run small too. I am typically an 8-8.5. Usually in heeled shoes I lean to the 8 side so I thought 8.5 would be enough if these ran small. Unfortunately these were way too small. I'm not even sure the 9 will be enough, might need the 9.5. The other problem is the opening placement and tightness/rigidity makes it hard to move your ankle. I could also tell that these were a pair that someone else had returned because there were some marks on the soles as well as wrinkling around the ankle openings/zipper. Based on that I think these will get a lot of stretching and wrinkling lines when worn regularly. They're so beautiful I might risk it and order a bigger size in hopes that they fit better but pretty dissapointed that these are so uncomfortable and run small.

These shoes are lovely to look at, but they are very hard and stiff with little cushion or give to them. For the price I was expecting more cushion, even if the leather takes a while to loosen up.

I wanted to love these. The color is beautiful, the leather smooth. The feel, stiff and narrow. I am usually a 7.5. That was way too tight. The 8 wasn’t much better. While just walking in my room the top of the shaft hit my ankle in an uncomfortable way too. These did not work for me.

These are a gorgeous pair of boots, and I so wanted to keep them. They look very stylish and high-quality; unfortunately, they were so uncomfortable that I couldn't even walk around my own apartment in them, so they had to go back. The ankle opening is both narrow and incredibly stiff, resulting in rubbing so significant that in a short walk halfway down my hallway, it nearly broke the skin on my calf. I have average size ankles and calves, but perhaps these will work for those with slightly different anatomy.

If only based on design, style, quality - 5 stars all the way! The perfect heel height for regular commuting, waterproof... But in my regular size, 7.5, I couldn't even pull up the zipper with a light pair of socks on, but size 8 was too big with wool socks. I really, really, wanted to keep, but they just don't work for me. If it fits your feet, then would recommend.

I really wanted to love these boots and they are incredibly well-made. However, I had to return them because the toe box was so small and narrow, they hurt my feet instantly. I would love for Nisolo to make boots with a wider toe box for those who don't have super narrow feet! :)

I like the almond color. The boots look mostly good but they are larger at the ankle than what I expected. I only tried them indoors but could already tell that the front of the boot hurt my shins when I walk. Because of that, I would have returned them but the leather soles are extremely fragile and even walking on my hallway had left marks so now I have to keep the boots (AND pay a cobbler to install rubber sole savers because the sole is much too fragile to actually walk with these boots outside). I am disappointed -at that price point, I would have hoped the boots to have a durable rubber sole.
