I ordered the 6.5 (which is my true to size) and my heel touches the back of the mule ever so slightly. I read other comments that said the front area would stretch out and my foot would slide forward...hasn't happened yet. In hindsight I might have ordered a 7, but I am quite happy. They are comfortable and sleek and look great--love the rich color. I look forward to trying other Nisolo styles.

Size up 1/2 size for widee feet

These are so, so comfortable even for someone with a lot of foot problems! I do find them slippery to walk in while wearing tights but that's probably not the most stylish thing anyway. While barefoot these are perfect.

I love the shoe, its beautifully made and such a nice profile. I feel like it runs small though. I usually wear a 6 or 6.5 and I need to exchange my 6.5 for a 7.

This is my second pair from an exchange. My first pair had an anomaly in that the insole of the left shoe kept peeling off otherwise it was such a perfect pair. This newest pair I received is the squeakiest pair of shoes ever and it has something to do with the heel because if I've experimented with many ways to fix this unforgivable squeak and the hallways at work are so silent that it is unbearable. Which is such a shame, I want to show off my beautiful Mariella Mules and this was not an issue with my first pair. Overall, I think the shoes are beautiful and striking. They are incredibly comfortable even for a skinny, bony feet person like me. YES, that's right we are the people who have the most sensitive feet because there's zero fat to cushion us from the hard edges of leather shoes but these are fantastic which is why it's such a shame that the squeaks are so loud and honestly annoying. I want to love them with 5 stars worth but 2 pairs in and $150 worth, I would not go back. I want to keep supporting this business model all day everyday but the practicality has to be there as well and right now I often hesitate to put these on.

The shoe is very nice looking and were comfortable wearing them around the house. However, after just a few minutes of walking, the left heel began to click at each step with weightbearing. I weigh 125 lbs. I had to send them back.

I am a little disappointed with this shoe. It squeaks when I wear it without socks.

Of the last three pairs of shoes I have ordered from Nisolo, I have had to go up an entire whole size. Don't know why this is but that was my experience. A bit of a hassle to send back, etc... but otherwise a cute shoe.

These shoes are beautiful. I absolutely love Nisolo but, unfortunately, my size 11 foot cannot squeeze into a 10. :( I really wish Nisolo would start stocking for us ladies with larger feet!

These are blister builders. The opening was so snug and the inside of my foot rubbed in the worst way. I wanted to love these but I was too terrified to wear them - not a good fit for me!

This is my second pair of shoes from Nisolo. Like my first, it is comfortable and beautiful, but unlike my first, the finish scratches up and shows damage extremely easily. I have never had a pair of shoes that shows damage so quickly. I am not especially hard on my shoes, and I am disappointed at how these are wearing. I will probably bring them to my shoe guy to see if he can do anything, but I'll also think twice about purchasing from Nisolo again despite my support for their business model and the lovely look of their products.

First let me say, the shoes are gorgeous. I love the company and was excited for my first Nisolos. I reached out to customer service before buying and sent measurements, etc. I was told to by a size 6. And like you'll see in the size chart ^, I was told my heel would be near the edge at first and then move forward as they stretched and become more comfortable. Well, they didn't and I really wish I had sized up to 6.5. But despite that, I continued to wear them and they were comfy enough. However, after two weeks the inside soles have detached and are bunched up under my toes. Included in the box when they arrived was the suggestion to reach out if unusual wear was noticed within the first 100 days, so I did (and included photos of the ruined insoles). I was told I should try a 6.5 but it's understandable if I don't want to buy another pair considering my first started falling apart after 2 weeks? I still think the company is great and I'm sure I just ended up with a faulty pair. Just bummed with my first experience.

They look nice on, but when walking, it's painful. They don't hold on your feet tightly, so they put strain on the feet when walking. Not sure if it's because I have narrow feet. I ended up returning them.

These shoes look super cute but they cut my foot where they end and always leave me with blisters. I have had them for about 6/7 months and they are broken in, but still give me blisters every time I wear them. The soles also lift up occaction.

Nothing good to say about this shoe. It looked humongous on my foot but felt too small. The pointy toe was uncomfortable and unattractive. Returned.

The inside of one of the shoes was not smoothly finished. There was a wrinkling of the lining it clearly was not finished properly. It was also extremely uncomfortable. I walked from one end of my house to the other and it was painful and already showed signs of creasing on top. Very disappointed I sent them back and was charged return shipping even though they were defective and poorly made.

The pair I received had a huge scuff on top. And nothing was done to fix the problem.

I really wanted to love these, I love the brandy leather and how good the shoe looks with every outfit but the quality is really lacking. The break in period can be a bit painful, I had to wear bandaids on the top of my foot as it rubbed them a bit at first and right when they started to break in and get comfortable (4-5 wears) the inside sole on my right shoe came apart at the toe and heel. I emailed customer service and they were great about addressing my concern and even let me send that pair back and get a replacement pair *however* the new pair I have only worn twice now and the inner sole around the heel is starting to come off again on one of the shoes. I don't know how I would have this problem with two different pairs but I am bummed as I really like these overall but now am stuck with yet another pair that is coming apart.
