I always come back to these for my kids. Honestly, I balk at the price for something that is going to get such hard use, but I have wasted so much money buying other brands only to have them rip in a month and then have to buy another pair. I will never buy another brand of snowpants again! These are tough, warm, and DRY! The extra fabric on the knees is unrippable! My kids ice fish all day, kneeling in snow and slush, and are still dry! Most dirt just brushes off of them, too. I like having color choices other than black so my kids don't get their snowpants mixed up with others at school. My oldest is super hard on gear, and he has never ripped or worn a hole in his even after an entire long Wisconsin winter.

The 9 year old wearing these ski pants says "they don't get your butt or your knees wet!" " They also don't fall down because they are bibs and you don't get snow down your back!"

LOVE that the butt is reinforced like the knees! First snow and my boys slide down the driveway on their BUTT! Several slides already logged this year and of the 2 pants we bought 1 has the stitching at the knee patch pulling apart. Was surprised by that.
Boys say pants are warm, Mom appreciates the reinforced knees and butt. The pant keeper on the inside of the snow pant seems longer than other non-LL Bean snow pants, so it goes far into the boots. The side zipper at the bottom of the pant is also great. Overall an excellent pant & I'm confident the boys will outgrow the pants before they will need replacing.

This is very nice, warm and cozy snow bib. Our daughter loves it and it keeps her warm for her umpteen hours of snow play outside.

My kids love how comfortable these snow pants are. I love how the last a whole season (and more cause I hand them down to my sister's kids the following year). In the past I would buy any old cheap snow pants and the knees would rip almost instantly and I found myself replacing the cheap pairs a number of times during one season. When I started buying from LLbean, I only had to buy one pair. Definitely worth the value plus if anything happens to zipper or tabs, they will replace them no questions asked! I love ALL products LLBean offers!!

My son is slim and it's hard to find snowpants that are long enough but not too wide for him. He had outgrown another brand's size 7, but was swimming in that brand's size 8. I was hesitant to get a 6x/7 from LLBean, but they are the perfect length and width (about an inch and a half longer than the other brand's size 7). I just wish I had bought them last year so he could have gotten 2 years out of them...oh well, his sister will wear them next winter and then they will get passed down to someone else!

This is the second year I've bought these for my daughter. They are by far the best quality snow pants that she has ever owned. Thank you, LL Bean, for making pink! I love the quality and my kid loves the bright colors which make getting her to wear snow gear a cinch.

Works great in place of adult sizes if you usually wear petite sizes. Kept me warm in negative temps but not for a super long time.

We've always had great luck with LL Bean snow pants, but our latest pair do not seem to be the same quality as years past. The knee material felt much thinner than on an older pair of snow pants, which worried me. Sure enough, two weeks in, my son ripped a big hole in the knee. $80 snow pants should hold up better than the $20 box store brands.

These snow pants are amazing and kept my daughter warm however they are very flammable my daughter was out in the barn with me and was standing by a propane heater when her snow suit went up in flames. They should have a warning on them very flammable! Other then that they kept my daughter warm and fit well.

Great for skiing. The size 18 fits my 5'2" son, so the sizing is kind of off.

Great set of snow pants for the price! May be a little bulky as ski pants but so far they are keeping the kids warm and dry.

I love LL Bean's kids winter clothes because they are well made and last forever, but I wanted to warn people that these run way longer than LL Bean's size charts would have you believe! Our almost 3yo measure 38.5 inches at his last check up a few months ago, so we opted for little kids size 4, which is supposed to be 38-40 inches (the tallest toddler size is 4T which is 37-38 inches). We just received them and they are wayyyyy too long, even on the tightest setting of the overalls.

I bought a 4T for my 4 year old son. It's still too big for him. I adjusted the straps on his shoulders all the way and still didn't fit him. It'll probably work well with a thick base layer. Overall it was a good purchase. He was still comfortable and able to move around and play in the snow.

Color was perfect my daughter and the quality was great, but the legs are unusually wide. She looked and felt a little stay-puffed. Bummed these had to be returned.

The extra layer on the butt made the crotch very uncomfortable. Too bulky.

They are definitely well made, but way too big for my 8 year old slim son. They are very bulky.

My 8 year old daughter loves to play hard in the snow and cold, and I'm disappointed to learn that wetness is soaking through the knees of these bibs. Even during her relatively short school recess play. The item is described as "water resistant" and that's accurate. We spend a lot of time outside year-round and protecting my kiddos against winter wetness is very important. I won't be purchasing these again.

5 year old grandson is short but long in the torso. Bibs are hard to fit but the style preferred by his Mom. These seemed huge on him but we kept them, I mean snow pants need to be no fun to wear to be good in the snow. No snow since we got them.

We have purchased several snow bibs from LL Bean over the past few years. They are warm, true to fit and all parts are made well, except for the reinforced knee. The lower seam of the knee where it meets the regular fabric rips EVERY YEAR. If the reinforced material extended below the knee by two more inches, this would not be an issue. For boys who spend every day (at school and home) playing in the snow and sledding, this product should be able to last one season of use. I have returned them in the past and have sewn them and patched them myself as items cannot be repaired. Disappointed that they did not last longer than 3 months.

While I am sure this are well made and would stand up to the winter they were just too baggy. My daughter is 4'11 and 75lbs. The length was good but she could have fit in just one leg hole. We had to return them and find a slimmer fit.

I have purchased multiple pairs of these for my kids and they worked great. The last pair I ordered did not last four months before the lower seam on the reinforced knees gave out and ripping ensued all in one weekend. I tried to return them but I was told it was not their fault the seem gave out and they will not refund me. The reinforced knees need to be longer in order to add extra protection. Other companies sell snowpants with longer knee reinforcement and I will be buying those instead. These pants are too expensive to not even last one winter.
