I am a true size 6.5 in Women's. I was originally gifted the Wicked Good Slippers by my boyfriend at Christmas - in size 7 to leave a little extra room to wear thick socks. Those were WAY to big, so I returned them and decided to switch them out for style instead (some of the merchandise return credit was lost to shipping returns costs, so these were more affordable). I ordered a size down, thinking a size 6 would be better. They just arrived in the mail today, and I am so disappointed once again: 1) The size 6 is still huge. Even wearing socks, I would have to crunch my foot up awkwardly to keep them from falling off. Also, these are likely to stretch a bit with wear as most sheepskin/fur slippers do. So that makes the sizing even worse. 2) The online pictures make it look like there is an adequate backing on the slipper around the heel. But this is not the case. My heel slips out because the backing is not tall enough, so your feet are not secure in these. These might as well have no backing at all. Super torn on returning them again.. once again I will lose the return shipping cost. But maybe third time's the charm?? And order a size 5 (which seems ridiculous given that I'm a 6.5 in most shoe brands)???

Inside the slipper wears away to a point where there is nothing left. I've only had them for about 1 year and I would expect them to last much longer. Will not be purchasing another pair.

It would be very useful if the description of these slippers said that they are mules. It's hard to tell from the pictures, with all the fuzzy shearling, that there is no back to them. After a week of wear, the front is loose and they fall off my feet. I got the correct size but would not have purchased then had I known they were mules. The red color is very nice. If you like mules, I would recommend.

I am disappointed that the arch support is on the wrong side of the shoe. I walked in these for a day and they made my feet ache. It may be this batch was not manufactured correctly. Since I do not know this for sure, I will not order a second pair.

I waited patiently for 1.5 months & was very excited to get them but that is where the joy ended. Out of the box they are beautiful, the color and fur trim are wonderful, but I will be returning them for the following reasons... First, the sole is hard and thick and they wear like an awkward shoe, not a slipper. Every step I took felt like I was walking on hard rubber planks... no cushion under my feet at all. Second the fur lining inside is extremely thin and definitely will not last. You can feel the hard sole through the very thin lining inside the slipper. No foam or other soft, resilient material to cushion your step. Third, the opening of the right slipper is way too tight and cut off my circulation (the left slipper is ok). I felt my foot begin to tingle and go numb and had to remove it! I do not have large or swollen feet, this has never happened to me before. Slippers should be comfortable. These may look great but they feel awful. You can't relax in a "slipper" with a heavy sole that weighs you down, has no cushioning and cuts off your circulation. Very disappointed especially that his high price point! :(

If these slippers fit I would have no complaints because they are well made and warm. As a size 7 1/2 I ordered a 7 based on other customers comments. Maybe I should have ordered a 6. The heel of my foot doesn't even touch the back of the slipper, so that when I walk they flip like a flip flop. My foot slides right off the heel of the slipper and is extremely annoying.

Frankly, I love these and they are one of the few slippers to be manufactured in a size 5. However, the fact that only after two months the soles are separating and becoming unglued is something I did not expect for the price or from L.L. Bean.

I usually wear a size 10 or 10.5. I ordered a size 10 and it was way, way too small. I mean not just tight, but I couldn't even get my foot into it. I returned them and didn't bother trying a size 11. Too bad, they looked very well made.

I primarily purchased these because I needed something warm to slip my feet into while I've had construction going on where I live. These were perfect for about 2 weeks and then I noticed that inside the right slipper was wearing unevenly. It was causing a lot of back pain because it was throwing off how I would walk. This was specifically only the right slipper. I don't know if it was just a faulty slipper or what, but I returned the slippers and got refunded. Wouldn't purchase again.

Really liked this shoe. Has nice support in it, but it just didn't fit my foot properly. Nothing wrong with the shoe - just didn't fit my foot well.

Another 'Made in China' product and basically not comfortable. If I should ever order from you again, I will definitely pay attention to the source of the product.

I liked the look of the slipper. It the arch pad was too high and too hard. Had to return them.

I bought these for my mom and they did not fit and she always wears a size 8. I returned for a 7 and those were also too big so these are off by two sizes. I returned again and got a different style and those are off by a size also. It is disappointing because she likes them but I'm stuck paying the $6.50 return shipping for e third time now because of LL Bean's sizing issues.

Not only are the too wide (and I have a wide foot) and too long (I ordered a half size smaller, so they are a half to a full size too large) the cushion inside is oddly shaped - it's higher in the heel than the toe, which makes for an odd sensation. The soles are squeaky on my tile floors, but the stitching is better than it looks in the picture. Not what I expected so I am returning these.

I purchased these for my daughter Christmas 2019. She lost her last pair in a house fire that were five years old. These slippers lasted only four months. The shearling has a black film coating collecting on them. She doesn't use oils or lotion on her feet.

They definitely are comfortable, but I don't feel like they are as plush as LLBean used to make them. I think they are already loosing some of the plushness with every-day wear, especially in the heel area; I'm a petite person too! The overall quality is a disappointing. The fur, trim seam doesn't looks like it will hold up either, in my opinion. Not sure if all the slippers are made in Myanmar, Asia but mine are. Sadly, these are overpriced for the quality, and I would not recommend for a friend.

I returned these slippers for another choice because I couldn't keep them on my feet when I walked. I've been wearing LLBean clogs for slippers for years but due to a series of falls, my doctor recommended I no longer wear clogs. These looked like a stylish alternative but I couldn't keep them on my feet. I returned them for the original moccasin style slippers and I can't wait to receive them.

Slippers are comfortable, but the fur rubbed off the right slipper within a month after purchasing them. I took them back to the store but they wouldn't exchange them because I cut the stiff itchy tags off the inside of them. I paid $79 for them and clearly they are defective.

Though the slippers are absolutely gorgeous (I received them in the Royal Plum color as a gift), the sizing is SO far off, I felt as if I was in a pair of my mom's slippers--and she wears a size 9! When I tried on the slippers (wearing the thickest socks I own), said slippers were a full THREE inches too long, and an extra inch too wide. In the past, I have been able to wear LL Bean's Sherpa-lined Scuffs in a size 6. I have been wearing this type of slipper for roughly 10 years, but when I saw the Squam Lake Slipper, I wanted to make a switch to something with a back for warmth. I'm just sad these Squam Lake slippers are as overly large as they are. I also wish there were more size 5 available, whether that be immediate or in a few weeks (three to five, or so) LL Bean, I, for one, am completely tired of seeing only ugly tan or dark brown slippers for women. WHY can't we have pretty dark colors like Purple, Red, and Dark Green available at all times? It's not as if the desire for these colors fade during Spring/Summer...

I've had many many pairs of wicked Mocs and I was excited to try a new style of my favorite slippers. Unfortunately these are hot and sweaty and after less than a week of use I am sending them back in exchange for the traditional wicked Mocs. The foam footbed already smells and my feet are miserable. I think these have the potential to be great if the foam footbed was to be removed- because I love how they look.

I have always worn an 8 but this slipper had 1 inch more length in front of the toes. Maybe they labeled the wrong size? It felt like a 9 or 10. I returned them and decided not to order a smaller size due to the return cost and hassle.

With the cold weather, I was anxiously waiting for my new Wicked Good Slippers to arrive! With much sadness it is time to throw the old pair away. Unfortunately, the new pair does not even come close to fitting. Enclosed in the box of new slippers was a card detailing how the new slippers will fit: they are supposed to be a little tight around the foot .....they were not, the inside barely touched my skin. The slippers were so large, had it not been for the heel, my foot would have fallen out of the slipper.

The foot bed did not feel even. Heel felt lower and unstable compared to rest of the foot bed. That is the reason for return.

I have had a few pairs of these slippers and the most recent purchased at Christmas time just aren't as comfortable. They don't have the arch support as prior versions and are very wide compared to older versions. I actually prefer wearing my older pair vs the new pair. Such as shame for an expensive slipper.
