The back of the slipper does not rise high enough. It looks like it would cover your heels in the picture but it doesn't.

Nice product but sizing runs a bit big. The quality is great, thoughplush, comfy.

Not comfortable. Bottom too hard for me. I'm also not a big fan of all that decorative fur on the outside. I prefer your suede clog slipper for its comfortable foot bed and look, but they wear out so quickly I was hoping to find another style that was comfortable and looked good but also lasted longer. Sadly this did not work for me.

One thing. Moving up one size doesn't work! I'm waiting for my fourth pair, size 8 this time. If this doesn't work, I quit.

These are warm but I have to say run big. Most reviews say if 1/2 size, order up, so I ordered a 9. Way too big & I returned for a size 8. They also are big but felt 7s might be too small. Sure hope they don't stretch.

I felt they run big. I normally wear 8 1/2 or 9. Since they don't come in half sizes I ordered the 9 and they slip off back of my foot. Otherwise they feel perfect and comfortable. The return process to exchange them was super easy.

the fur was nice & soft but they felt a bit snug for my wide feet & one slipper felt shorter than the other.

I have had three pairs of this slipper and really loved my first 2. Sadly, the dog did too. They fit true to size and were comfortable all year round. Then they were discontinued for a while and I was so disappointed. Couldn't wait to order a pair when they came back, but I was really disappointed. On my new pair the sole of the slipper is heavy and thick more like a shoe than a slipper. Not what I was looking for at all. The hard sole makes them very stiff and much less comfortable. Wish there was an option for the lightweight or "inside" sole.

I loved these slippers initially (although I ordered a 7 and normally wear an 8). Over time, the shearling wore away where my toes and balls of feet go. The material underneath was exposed. The loss of shearling made my feet hot and eventually sweaty. Gross. Was able to return them because I purchased them a little less than a year ago.

I bought these in my true size, a 9, the day after Christmas..I received them in February and they were way too big. I then returned for an 8 and waited almost 3 more weeks. I received them yesterday and am so disappointed. I don't know if its the style of them, but my heel slides up and down. I don't know if it's the style of the shoe or if this pair is also too big ( I can't imagine that I would be a 7 when my regular size is a 9) but these will sadly be going back.

At least 1 or 2 sizes larger than an 8. These will be returned.

I bought these as a Christmas gift to my self a year ago and just discovered that the sole was detaching from the toe of one slipper. I'm pretty easy on shoes and never wore these outside, so I would have expected them to last longer. They aren't badly damaged but they could result in tripping, so.... easy to repair, but shoe repair is extinct. Had LL Bean boot slippers for many years. They only died when the dog grabbed them. Disappointed.

I was excited to get this because I wouldn't have to fiddle with the leather tie, which I hate on the other slippers. In the photos I thought they looked basically the same. However, when they arrived I discovered that the heel is more like a slide in. Unfortunately, I cannot wear this type of shoe so they are going back.

These slippers fit well when first received but within a week they stretched out so wide I cannot keep them on my feet. They would be perfect for a woman with very wide feet, not mine.

I ordered a size 8, my true size and despite all the reviews of it running true to size they are slightly too large. Only if I was wearing heavy socks would they fit. So, I have now talked with 2 customer service associates, one knew nothing about the fit, the other one said they had a pair they wore every day but they were several years old. I really got no help with sizing so I ordered (back ordered) a size 7 to see if it fits. In the meantime it's winter and my feet are cold!

This slipper has a slide heel. Not sure if you'd call it a mule or scuff? This is not apparent in the description or the picture. I don't feel safe with this kind of heel. The slippers slip off too easily. Wonderful quality, warmth and color but not for me. Sent back.

I missed in the info and photo that these were low, VERY VERY low at heel...so when I put them on they kept falling off and within minutes I just put them back into the box to return via UPS (going into closed stores with Covid not an option).
I had bought for warmth and they failed that lesson too, given the open back.
VERY disappointing for sure, but these slippers with low heel coverage are dangerous because they literally FALL off as people walk tripping us. Had to dump a pair in summer from another store due to this.
So this pair FAILED on staying on my feet AND keeping my feet warm.

These slippers were ok but a full size too big and the soles seems a little too firm for my tastes. Called in, got excellent support and returned/exchanged for a size smaller and original style camp moccasins. Which I love.

I’m not totally on board with these. I just got them today so they may grow on me. But so far the design is just a bit off. A bit too narrow maybe? I’m not sure. But I’m a bit more excited to take them off than I am to put them on :/

My wife usually gets the bootie but she wanted to try these because they have a hard sole. LL Bean recommends you size-up if you are a half size but don't do it. The 10's were absolutely HUGE (she wears 9 1/2). The 9's fit OK, but still are a little long. They are not as warm as the booties because there is a foam insole with not much wool over it. We'll get the booties next time.

I received the slippers as a gift from my husband for Christmas last year. They were so cozy, soft and warm! But, they have worn pretty quickly. While they are still super comfortable, the fur is gone in spots on the left footbed, and the tops are looking pretty rough. That being said, I still wear them all the time, and still find them very comfortable. So, despite the wear and tear, I still think I'll be asking for another pair this Christmas.

They are very nice and warm but I wear an 81/2 and had to order a 9. They are too big I definitely have to wear them with socks which defeats the whole purpose!!

These are gorgeous slippers -- wish they fit. I bought 1/2 size down (6) in the store, already knowing that a 7 would be way too long after initially purchasing the moccasin online. So the length was fine. But my foot was so scrunched in at the front that I have to unfortunately return. I thought that there would be some natural "give" since shearling is a natural fiber. But the structure of the shoe itself won't allow that: the sole and the edge on the top of the slipper are hard, not soft. When I turned these over to look at the bottom sole, I could see that the shape is very long and narrow compared to other shoes -- more oval than the shape of a foot, with the natural widening where the toes are. I have to wonder if they are made in China, like everything else.

I ordered a half-size below my normal size, and they are huge. I'll try a size down, but wondering why some reviews say they're true to size when mine and other reviewers report the sizing is so far off - I'm guessing inconsistencies in manufacturing with the sizing.

These are obviously well made slippers. But so large. I'm a 9 to 9 and 1/2 but these felt like boats on my feet. I returned them. Didn't want to buy a smaller size since they were very wide as well as too long.
