I have had many pairs of birth. I'd loved each one until I tried this style. I had to send them back twice because the fit was off and they stretched out very fast. The lining wore out extremely quick in the seams frayed within two months.

I can get them on but not easily. They are tight and didn't stretch with use as I'd hoped they might, so now they sit in a closet most of the time. Otherwise they seem to be good quality and they are certainly nice looking.

I've worn LLB slippers for years. I work from home, so they are my "work shoes." I wore out the last pair COMPLETELY; I literally walked out of them after loving them for several years - and was delighted to ask for and receive a new pair for Christmas. The same size I've worn for years (size 9 for an 8.5 foot) is painfully short! The left one is almost indistinguishable from the right. Really. Who made these??
This is so disappointing. I don't know if I should use a refund to get a couple of cheap comfy pairs at Kohls or try another LLB style. Customer service - please help!
These have to be replaced by something that will keep my feet happy and warm.

The women's slippers wore down very quickly. (The men's less so, but will still be returning) I did find that buying the shearling insoles (much better quality) and putting the insoles in the flannel-lined slippers works much better. Please don't purchase these. Let LLBean show you their better-quality products.

One slipper is visibly narrower than the other, almost a full 1/2", and it obviously doesn't fit. There are few things more disappointing than giving a gift that immediately becomes a burden for the recipient. My wife will be exchanging for a pair that isn't so flawed, or we will be seeking a full refund.
LL Bean product quality isn't where I remember it being, very disappointed and I will certainly be looking to other brands in the future.

The flannel lining was perfect. I'm waiting for it's return.

I was hoping these slippers would fit as they are super cute, soft and warm. However, I purchased a size 6 (my normal shoe size) and they are loose on me.
Here's the thing about sheepskin footwear: it will stretch with time. So when a person purchases any type of sheepskin footwear it's best to buy it just slightly snug.
When I have purchased Ugg footwear I have always sized down to a 5 for the perfect fit.
Unfortunately LL Bean does not offer this slipper in a women's 5 hence my two stars. They should offer them in a 5 as many brands with competing products do.

I was looking forward to receiving these but they are way too wide and large. I have purchased LLBean slippers in the past and always ordered my usual size 7. These are huge. I can't take a step without them falling off my feet. They are going back.

I bought these beautiful slippers a month ago and was so disappointed in the fit. The shoes are very wide as if made for a man. The length does not seem to be correct either. I bought the size I always wear and they were much longer than I could wear. It's as if they labeled these as if for women but sized them for men.

Sent these back as they were poorly made. Shearling lining poorly cut. Sole not matched to shoe size.

I thought these would have a sturdier sole but they didn't offer good support. I need support due to pain in my heel and bottom of foot. They made the pain worse so unfortunately I had to return them.

I have been buying L.L. Bean products for a long time many years. I can honestly say I have never been disappointed before but I am with these slippers. I don't like the fit. I don't like the looks. I'm just very disappointed. I thought for 90 bucks plus it would be a much better slipper.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)

The fit was extremely narrow. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 in shoes. The 8 was too big, and the 7 too narrow.

I usually wear a 7.5 so I bought an 8 after looking at reviews and the recommended was to size up. They were huge. I returned them and reordered the 7. Initially they fit good but still a touch big. I was surprised. I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning again- and paying for shipping them back again. I should have returned. The will inside does flatten. Also for the price these shoes should have some kind of memory foam in the bottom. It really is disappointing that there is no support as I use them for house shoes. I overall like the look but just wish they were sized right and had some kind of support.

My husband bought these as a Christmas gift. The soles are clearly right and left but the tops (looking down) look like they're both for the right foot.

Received these as a gift. I have 3 pair, and have bought them in men's for gifts. So I do love bean slippers!
But disappointed again, these have to be returned!
The issue is the sizing is off,I've returned slippers prior due to the same issue!

The left slipper is significantly larger than the right. It comes right off my foot. I've purchased this style before, same size, and didn't have this problem.

I had a pair of your moccasins years ago. Loved them!!! These, not so much. They don't make my feet happy! They do not offer much support. It feels like I'm walking on carpet barefoot. I could not wear these outside if I wanted to as they actually hurt my feet. I feel your quality has decreased. Very disappointing!!!

I had a size 6 LL Bean slipper and ordered a new pair of size 6. They were a full 3/4" longer than my current pair and slipped off my foot when I walked. I returned them and explained why they were returned. When I saw my return order, they had charged me $6.50. I will never purchase another thing from them!

Slippers were not a pair. One was very wide, the other was narrow. Not the LL Bean quality I was expecting. I returned them.

I am an 8.5 regular and I sized up to 9 based on the website recommendation. I am a size 9 slipper in other brand's moc slippers as well (Land's End/Ugg). The 9's arrived and were not snug at all. My heel came up when I walked. And I knew that when they stretched out more they would be unwearable. I contacted Customer service via chat and was given the advice to keep the 9's and order a size 8 in the same style, then compare both and see which fit best. Well, the first issue was that I received two boxes of size 8's and was charged twice. Then, the size 8 were so snug that my toes were pressed up against the leather. I still wore them around all day in the house for a week. But all that accomplished was sore toes. I had to return all 3 pairs. When I got on chat to discuss returns and incorrect duplicate charge for a second size 8 pair, the rep was very unfriendly and basically told me that every foot is different and that if I wanted a refund on the shipping return charges I needed to put notes in the return boxes. I did that but I have zero confidence that will actually happen. And then today I got my first refund on a pair and the order # doesn't match any of the three order #'s in their system. So I have no idea which order the refund is for. It has just all spiraled out of control. And the main bummer is that so far all of the other companies are replacing the real shearling with faux and mixed materials. Or shearling insoles that you can feel the edges of. LL Bean are literally the only company with the style and materials I seek but alas, my half size foot is sized out of their whole sizes.
