I have a pair of these Venetian slippers from a few years back that are size 9. They were a bit snug. Best worn with a bare foot. So this time I ordered a size 10. Alas! The size 10 were too big even with my socks on and my heel was slipping out all the time. Wish they were made in half sizes.

The tag on the inside was immediately bothersome, overall they were comfortable.
Wish L.L. Bean went back to selling things in made America

Wear a size 7.5 and ordered a 7 based others feedback and the fit is perfect. The blue color is really pretty. Disappointed in the EVA memory sole, doesnt feel very cushy.

Beautiful quality warm slipper, however I wear a 10.5. The size 11 was too wide in the heel and would slip off my foot. Womens heels run narrower. I exchanged them for the size 10. My toes are up to the top but the lining makes it comfortable.

These are great slippers with a very soft interior. I am normally a 7.5 and purchased the 8. They are a little big on me but I am afraid if I went down to a 7 they would be too small. The only other issue is where they decided to sew in the tag. The tag falls right where my arch sits. It was highly uncomfortable, but I was able to cut it out pretty easily. It just seems like a poor design to sew a tag in such an inconvenient spot.

Great color (burgundy) but the whole size I ordered was too big and the next whole size down squashed my toes. Wish they came in half sizes. The larger size was very cozy feeling, but kept slipping off my heel. Was sad...I really liked the slipper except for the slipping off my heel part.

The slippers are warm, safe on slippery surfaces and easy to care for. I've had several pairs now over the years and would find it hard to change.

The slippers are what I expected. However, the internal product label - a stiff plastic tag - was sewn in towards the middle of the slipper and below the instep. Very uncomfortable. The tag was difficult to remove and I had to use a scissors to trim the label away. Once that was done, the slippers were very comfortable.

Nice fit in length but width was a bit wider than I needed. Nice and warm though and sole is good for both inside and outside around the yard and driveway.

Great to prevent overheating, could be better for support. Faux fur makes my feet sweat, but they still stay cold, but these slippers are terrific. My feet stay warm, and they don't sweat (or these absorb the sweat). My main complaint is that they don't really have the support I need for plantar fasciitis. I just added 3/4 inserts with rigid arch support, which does negate the comfort of the shearling for 3/4 of the sole of the slippers but work out well. I just had TKA surgery, and these are the only "shoe" that actually fit with my swollen foot on that side. These were purchased specifically to wear in the hospital after the surgery. I do worry about the wear that will occur by going to my PT appointments, so I will have to see how that goes. Overall, I am enjoying these very much.

Very comfy. Runs large. I could have used a size larger but didn't want to pay to return them. I shop most often on the sites with free shipping and returns.

Super cozy as always but the fit is narrower than other bean slippers I've purchased. That's the only reason I went to four stars

These are my favorite of the the genuine shearling brands, although this year's batch seem to fit a little larger than usual. I always order true to size and look forward to the shearling 'hug' of a new pair. I suspect by spring these will have become quite loose. Also, I wish there were more neutral colors to choose from

These are the exact same slippers I order on the manufacturer’s website for $20 less. Score ! You can’t go wrong with these in a cold winter climate. They do take a while to stretch out and form to be super comfortable but keep tootsies super warm and toasty.

These slippers don't look very nice, but they are super comfortable. I had a pair of darker chocolate brown slippers similar from LLBean that someone stole from me and I was hoping to replace them. LL Bean no longer carry the style and colour of my last slippers so I went with these. I'm not a fan of the look, but I love the feel - super soft and warm. I recommend ordering one size smaller than normal as they stretch a little over time.

The shoes are very nice, but they run big in length by a full size... the width is fine. I am returning these slippers and just ordered a very similar slipper, which was available now, in size 7. We'll see... LL Bean is not consistent in sizing their items so we never know until we actually try them on.

I've only had them for a couple weeks but so far I like the slippers. It will be interesting to see how they wear over time. I am using them as a replacement for another sheepskin lined brand that has lasted nearly 9 years. I hope these have the same kind of staying power. My one complaint is the label sewn into the side of the footbed. It is scratchy and uncomfortable and it is not easy to cut it out without cutting some of the lining.. what a strange place to put a label.

I really love these slippers. I bought them a half size larger so I could wear thick socks. They do stretch out some after wearing, so keep that in mind. The only thing I don't like about them is that when you wear them with thin socks or ankle socks, the shoes "eat the socks" off your heels. A bit annoying...

Comfy slipper, once you get the size right. I'm regularly an 8-1/2, and LL Bean advises half sizes to size up. Not true for me: the 9's were huge. Reordered 8's which were much better.

Really great slipper, did take some time to mold to my feet. They are a little short in height and I feel like my heel is always slipping out and rubbing, which makes them less stable unlike other ones I have had from ll bean. But true to ll bean fashion, very durable and well made.

I've previously bought slippers from L.L. Bean including the Women's Wicked Good Slippers, Venitian and have been totally satisfied. The newest pair isn't quite as comfortable, the shearling on the sole bunches up in the toe area and I have to manipulate it smooth it out. Not a big problem, obviously, but I've always been so happy with my purchases from L.L. Bean I've been spoiled. It's still a very good slipper and this particular slipper is probably just a one-off.

I had a pair of wicked good slippers years ago. I loved them but eventually they got all stretched out and would fall of my feet. I recently purchased the Venetians. Not sure if it's just because they are new or are a different style than my last ones but they stay perfectly on. I am always cold and wear them with wool socks during the day. I go out to the garbage, mailbox, & backyard in them. I couldn't be happier finally a slipper that can actually keep my feet warm and not sweaty. Don't hesitate SPLURGE!

This is my 4th or 5th pair. I usually buy the one with fur around the top but wanted a change. These are just as comfortable but...two things: The inside fur is pretty sparse around the back on both feet and that's, I think, were you need the cushioning the most. Secondly, there is a place on the top stitching where the white underside of the material shows. I'm hoping that it won't pull apart. The stitching is fine but the material wasn't pulled up all the way around before they stitched it.
As many have said, the LL Bean quality seems to have suffered in the past few years.
But give these a try. They are very comfortable. I'm an 8 1/2 but the 8 fits me perfectly after a day or two.
