I have been buying these slippers for years for both myself and my daughter.
The fur lining wears away very quickly. I'm tired of paying good money for poor quality.

I've been buying wicked good slippers for many years, normal everyday wearing they've last around two years. Sad to say these are the worst quality for the price and wouldn't last even 6 months as I wear them everyday when I get home. The color is very pretty, that's where it ends though. There's very little sheep fur inside I could feel my toes hitting the stitching at the front after one wearing. For reference I purchased both a 6-7 as others said they run large, my normal size in slippers is a 7. They are large and not much padding to the foot bed or structure to the slipper. Seems things are changing Llbean not for the better. I hesitate to purchase anymore as your returns take up to a month then you send a check in snail mail not even email or a credit to my charge card. Just poor all around wish I could be positive.

I have purchased these for years for my husband and I. This time, the right shoe had no shape. Looked like it could go on either foot and was much wider than the other. I should have sent them back, but tried to make it work. Now I can't even make the right shoe stay on my foot it is so big! Something definitely happened to the quality of the shoes this time. I would like for you to make this right. Thank you!

Decided to give these slippers a try when I couldn't find my go-to brand and I needed a pair right away. It was indicated that the slippers needed to be worn a lot to allow my feet to adjust to the Sherpa lining. Weeks later, no relief or comfort and I'm left with aching feet and extreme disappointment! Highly doubt I will ever order from L.L.Bean again. I would've been better off wrapping my feet in tin foil.

The feel of the lining, which is supposed to be like sheep's fur or something, is totally synthetic and not comfortable at all. This version is also very narrow - which might be good for some, but it would be better to have the option to choose wider.

I was so disappointed when I opened the box and saw these are not made in the USA. They are made in Myanmar. Too expensive for shoes made in Asia. The toe box is too narrow, as well.

My second pair, they are top quality in size, fit , construction and comfort. The sole is very nice in that it is not irregular and lumpy. The workmanship in these slippers is outstanding.
I am always very pleased with anything LLBean sells.... QUALITY, QUALITY. QUALITY.

My size is 9W; this was 9M. The heels fell off my feet. Rather long. I am very disappointed!

I received a size 8 as a gift. They were way too large and fell off my foot even with socks.. Ordered a 7. They were snug on arrival. The left slipper broke in nicely and fits. The right one has not broken in, and this is my smaller foot. It feel like a full size smaller and hurts my foot. I have stuffed a tennis ball into it to stretch it and left it for a week. No real change and within minutes the seams leave my foot sore. I would prefer this review not be posted as I have worn the slippers enough that LL Bean cannot make good on the problem.
Disappointed,

Although the slippers seemed well-made in terms of materials and stitching, the sizing was inconsistent. The length was ok for both slippers, but the left heel was much too wide (the right heel was fine). I have previously experienced the same inconsistency with other foreign made footwear from Bean, even with the Rockport brand. Quality control in these foreign factories is abysmal.

You need to offer half sizes. The slipper did not stretch out and loosen up like the card included in the package stated. Will have to return.

Another reviewer stated that they look like men's slippers. This is because a man's last was used to make these slippers. Men's lasts have a wide ankle whereas women's lasts have a narrower ankle in fitting with our narrower ankles. These slippers are huge in the ankle. I can't walk in them without the back flopping off and they are brand new. Once the fur packs down, it will be like they have no back to them at all.
