Been looking at these slippers for years, but hesitated to spend that much on bedroom slippers, but I finally decided to just do it, and I'm glad I did! I read the other reviews and wasn't sure about ordering a size smaller than I wear, especially since my feet are also wide, but they fit just fine! Nice and cozy! The only thing wrong with them is they put scratchy little tags on the inside of the slipper right under my instep,where it rubs a bit if you don't make sure it's flattened down when you put it on.

I am enjoying my slippers very much. Ordered 1/2 size smaller (my normal size is 7-1/2) which another reviewer recommended. They were slightly snug a few days and now they're perfect. They meet my slipper "musts": Slip on easily No annoying ties that need retying Good foot coverage for chilly days Like I said...so far they're perfect!

I usually get the Wicked Good Moccasins but I don't care for the laces so I tried the Venetian slippers this time. LOVE them. I wear a size 7.5 in sneakers and rather than going up to an 8 like in the moccasins, I ordered a size 7. Perfect. They were a little snug for the first hour but were fine after that. Ordered a second pair when there was a sale.

I am now happily wearing my third pair of LL Bean Slippers. From the day I put on my first pair to today (I'm wearing my newest Women's Wicked Good Venetian Slippers right now) I have loved them. My one problem with the first two pairs was that they kept coming untied - so now I have ones with no ties - PERFECT!

Many people say to order down a size... I'm not finding that to be the case with these. If you're a half size, then yes, go with the whole size that is lower, but if you're an 8, order an 8. Over the past 5 years I have owned two pairs of Wicked Good mocs, and wear them every single day around the house, summer or winter. With daily wear, I'd say expect them to last 2 years before the shearling is tramped down completely. I really like that these have no laces. Sooo tired of fixing the laces on my old slippers. The only downside is that these only come in one color. I suppose they're not as popular as other models (but maybe they would be if you expanded the color options!).

I took these out of the box and put them right on my feet. I like the fit and feel; nice not to have to deal with laces. Based on previous reviews and against advice from customer service, I ordered a size down and am glad I did. I wear a size 9 in regular and running shoes, but ordered a size 8 slipper. Perfect fit. Soles are flexible (adds to the comfort), but not flimsy, so these slippers could be worn outside and when driving a car.

This is at least my 2nd pair of LL Bean Wicked Good moccasins. I have in the past purchased the pair with the tie, but based on online reviews (and personal experience) about the ties not staying tied, I tried these Venetians instead. I agree with others - they fit very well. I usually wear a narrow width shoe so worried these might slip off. But they don't. I often, but not always, have socks on with them, but it's not necessary for them to fit. They're warm but not too hot. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

This is my second pair in over 5 years! Since I have purchased them before I knew they run slightly narrow and a little small. But they also stretch fairly quickly. Go with a 1/2 size smaller and they will be PERFECT in no time!

Love these slippers! The fit is a perfect size 8, like the solid sole and soft lining. Cost more than I usually pay for slippers, but these are well-made and worth the investment.

wonderful, warm, snug, easy to wear

PURCHASED A SIZE EIGHT DUE TO REVIEWS AND SIZE CHART, TOO BIG. RETURNED FOR SIZE SEVEN AND PERFECT FIT. LIKE THE LOOK AND THEY ARE WARM WITHOUT SOCKS. WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEM IN SOME DIFFERENT COLORS TOO. PICKED THESE OVER THE OTHERS BECAUSE THEY WERE SLIP ON AND NO TYING ANYTHING.

These are warm and a great fit. I find that Bean's slippers in size 8 work for me, as these ones do. I'm usually an 8.5 or 8 in shoes, depending on the brand. I thought I'd try the Venetian style, a new one for me, and glad I did!

I have had many, many other slippers and this is THE BEST and WARMEST slipper I've ever owned! Got a pair for myself and my husband! Wish they made kids sizes in this Venetian style...I'd even buy them for the kiddos!

Just ordered new pair. To my old pair: Goodbye old friends, you have been swell. Thru puppies and rain you held up well. For over 20 years you have been on my feet. Old friends are great but new friends are sweet! Can not wait to break in new pair and enjoy 20 more years of these fantastic slippers.

I am in love with this new style! I love the moccasin look, and appreciate that there are no ties. Following previous reviewers' advice, I sized down. I am a 9, but purchased an 8. It works for me! The slipper was a little tight when I first put them on, but after a week of wearing them, they are a perfect fit with no slipping off my heel. I can see that a 9 would have been too loose. The shearling is very soft and comfortable, and my feet stay nice and warm. I really appreciate having a houseshoe that has the moccasin look, covers my entire foot, and has no ties! At Last! These slippers are well made and feel good on my feet with and without socks. And I don't have to worry about the leather lace tie coming undone and stepping on it. Included in the box with the slippers is a Dear Customer card explaining that it will take a short period of time for your foot and the slipper to fit to one another. I am so glad that this was included... and it did take a few days of wearing for my feet and the slippers to become good friends. I am old, wear a nine, have a bunion on one foot and the beginning of a bunion on the other foot. My feet are somewhat flat. When I am wearing my new slippers I can forget these problems!

I've been wearing LLBean's Wicked Good Slippers happily for years, but now find, as I'm getting older, that it would be wise (with wooden floors, stairs) to wear a slipper with some tread. So I bit the bullet and purchased the Wicked Good Venetian Slippers. I think they are great and highly recommend them. Note: I bought one size smaller and like how it better grips my heel.

I opted for these instead of the mocs to avoid dealing with the shoe strings coming untied. I love them! They do run a bit big. I am a size 10, ordered a size 10 M and I would say they are half a size too big. But I bought these for wearing around the house with socks, so don't mind. The lining is super comfortable. These could def be worn outside as the bottoms are quite sturdy. Can't wait to put my feet up in these all winter.

This being my 5th pair I still have no complaints other then wearing them out. It takes about a year as I wear them approximately 14 hours a day. Excellent quality and superior comfort, I would definitely recommend these slippers! As always, the shipment was delivered as stated and I have had no reason to contact Customer Service.

I bought these Venetian slippers because, much as I like moccasins, the strings just don't stay tied for me. I initially ordered size 10, because I wear a 10 in an athletic shoe and a 9 in a dress shoe and the instructions said for half sizes to to size up. 10 was too big, so I returned for a 9 which is right. The slippers have that snug but not not tight new sheepskin slipper feel to them, just the way they should.

Typical LL Bean delivering an awesome product! Switched over from the wicked good moccasin slippers because the leather ties never stayed. I am so happy I switched - love these!

I just got these yesterday and I love them. I run between sizes at an 8 1/2 and I sized down an 8 since they don't come in half sizes. They seem to fit fine with plenty of room. I'm used to slippers being really snug at first but these are not. I just hope they don't stretch out to the point where they feel to big. Keeping my fingers crossed that they stay just like this. I highly recommend these slippers.

I have owned these slippers since Christmas 2016 and I love them. I put them on as soon asI get home. They are soft and cozy but not even too warm on a hot day. I like that I can pop outside and not have to change, since it has the rubber sole. I do have to replace the insole because it started to thin from wear, but the outsides still look new. I think these will last me for years to come.

I own three pairs of wicked good slippers. Can't say they really wear out, but the shearling does run thin eventually. And yet, the darn leather ties NEVER stayed completely tied! So annoying. Seeing this slippers gave me hope. I think they are expensive but then, so were the others. One word of caution: these slippers don't run small as the 'imported' tied ones. I ordered a size up when I first bought them and had to exchange for my regular size. They are wonderful!

Comfortable. Great support. Warm. Well-made. Just wish you made these in a WIDE size, so I wouldn't have to order a size up. The regular slippers are too tight for the size I normally wear. For the price we pay we should have that option.
