I bought several pair of these day break scuffs a couple years ago and all of them have a very poorly designed sole. The bottom of the shoe has an inset which after very little wear, comes apart from the shoe itself and is dangerous. I've tripped and almost taken a fall. I've tried to glue the inset back to the shoe and it doesn't work. LL Bean is happy to accept the return but it's more of a hassle after you've worn the shoes several times and then have to return them. I've thrown away three pair of these scuffs. NOW, I have another issue with a pair that I bought last year, just took out of the box to wear as it's very cold here. These have never been worn, they are tight, obviously not true to size and the arch opening is so narrow that you'd have to have flat feet and no arch to wear these. I'll give them to a child as they obviously are not made for women. I wouldn't recommend these.

These are adorable and the fit was as expected. However, they are so incredibly stiff that two days after wearing them around the house, my feet still ache. I am so disappointed to have to return them!! I really hoped they would soften or loosen with a little wear on carpet, but I had to give up long before anything of the sort occurred.

I recently purchased a pair and have returned it. They look cute, however the cushioning on the insole is VERY thin. What little cushioning there is, disappeared after just a few wearings.

Being an owl lover, I had to have the owl design slippers. The description assured me that the wool/fleece upper would be a wonderful fit and feel. Alas, upon receipt, my arthritic toes did not like the hard shell of the upper enclosure. Back to finding a pair of Haflinger.

I really want to love these slippers. They are so adorable but the fit is awkward. They are quite small, much smaller than any other footwear I have ordered from LL Bean. They also tend to slip off my feet when I walk. This is the second pair I ordered, the first was WAY too small and had to be exchanged. This one was just a little too small so I thought it would work but it just doesn't fit my foot right. Unfortunately, I recycled the box so I guess I am keeping them:(

I had a similar pair but this new one didn't fit right. It ran small and the slippers were a bit stiff. I returned it.

This is my third pair. The first two pairs were wonderful. Unfortunately they have redesigned the slipper in a way that it is now less comfortable. The back part, at the heel, is lower than previously, it barely keeps the slipper on when walking, and rubs as it moves up and down. The older version was more generous and the back was higher, enough to keep it on when walking around and not rubbing. I bought the owls version, and they're really cute, and the sole is great, indoor outdoor rubber, which is why I ordered another pair, because I can run outside to fill up the bird feeders, for example, without having to put on my boots, but I guess it's just cheaper to use less material, and the result is that they are not as wonderful. Too bad, this will be my last pair.

I ordered size 11, a size I have worn for years, and I could not get my foot into the slipper. They said size 11 but they weren't. Returned them.

I bought slippers that were marked down $10. The slippers that arrived were used. Sole was dirty, fleece insole was imprinted with someone's foot. Unsatisfactory!!!

Not good, I thought the slippers would have some firmness to them. They were not at all what I expected. No support at all. The size was a disappointment also, I wear an 8.5 so had to order a nine, felt like they were size 10/12. Also shipping was $8:00 and it cost me $6:50 to return, so almost $15:00. Money down the drain.

Very poor fitting slippers. My usual size was baggy and a smaller size was too tight. In fact, they had nothing in common with my feet. I liked the visual aspect of these slippers but could not find comfort. Half sizes might be helpful.

I got these on sale in October prior to Christmas. I never tried them on until recently. Length wise they fit but the foot area is so loose! Taking a step in them they shift and want to fall right off. There is no way to tighten them. These are a tripping hazzard walking in them, trying to scuffle my feet so they stay on. Natural gait is impossible. Definitely not the quality I expect from LL Bean!

After 6 wks+ wait, my slippers arrived. I wear a size 9 and these slippers did not touch my foot anywhere. I felt like a kid in my dad's shoes. I tried to walk around and they fell off when I lifted my foot. Definitely a problem with quality control. They were not even comfortable standing still in them. So disappointing! Not the LL Bean I remember.

Was not happy with the product. The tops behind the ankles were very soft, I am assuming it won't take much wear before they start looking crushed. The soles are black; I don't like black soles because they make black marks on vinyl floors. They are clubby.

I bought these a month ago and only wore them once. They are awful. No support, two wide, sloppily made. I could go on and on but won't. I don't even know if I would pay $5.00 for them.

There is almost no cushioning and the heel is not well structured so your foot doesn't stay in the shoe when you walk. I returned them and I do not recommend them.

I just received these after a long backorder. I am very disappointed they look broken in worn. The sides are all sloppy loose. There's no padding in the insoles. They feel like I'm walking on large river pebbles. There very hard soled shoes are not cozy slippers.

My daughter has worn these two weeks around the house and the pilling is terrible. They look years old. LL Bean used to be such a reliable place to get high quality goods for a fair price. I've found my last few purchases to be quite disappointing.

I have owned 3 pairs of these slippers over the past few years and while they do stretch out over time, I've never had a pair arrive already stretched out. Looks like they were a return that somebody else wore for awhile. The shape of the left slipper is especially distorted. For the price of these, I'm extremely disappointed.

I really wanted to love these slippers but I did not after trying them on. The upper part of the shoe is hard and not comforting/comfortable at all. It did not give with the foot or movement. Promptly sent them back.
